Brought without contract was $499.00
hey jon..didnt you just sell it? or is this one you just bought to resell..and why selling your tilt? the most ive seen a fuze go for new on ebay is 450..thats what i plan to sell it for when i get the 2 fuzes on black friday ill most likely get 400 so if anyone wants to buy a fuze or 2 on or after friday PM me and we can work out a deal
Why are you guys thread-crapping his thread like that? Talking about his price and trying to suggest people to buy from YOU in HIS thread. If you dont like the price, don't buy or PM him and suggest he lower it but no need to do that in his thread...
dang chill dude! ive talked with him before..i almost bought his last fuze of of him so i have a right to say what i did and it was sort of a joke about me wanting people to buy off of me..i only sell on craigslist or ebay
Note to potential buyers: Don't buy the Fuze from this guy. You can get a new Fuze with a 30-day guarantee from AT&T for $499.
This is a ripoff.
yah PLUS TAX which comes out to around 530-540 and you still get the 30 day buyers remorse since hes giving thed reciept so this is a deal

Yes the one I sold was my original and I got a offer and a no haggle for shipping and great price. Very nice man.
I did sell one, and no not buying to sell. I have several phones and a extra Tilt so thats why I'm selling them. As I said, not trying to make money. But their are people that want the Fuze or Tilt that don't use ATT and might be something their interested in. I'd always post here first due to the Quality and neverending information that is provided to us.

Good Lord people, give me a brake, This is not a rip-off. As you said, can get for $499.00 with a 30 day take back. Can do this with my Fuze as I'm providing the original reciept.
dude, dont listen to these idiots (ie, perdurabo2). I sold my first fuze within hours of posting on craigslist for $500 cash.. Not anybody can walk into an at&t store and buy one outright; you still have to have a contract with at&t. Also, honestly, your biggest market is going to be those poor schmucks to our north (canadians). They cant buy the unbranded version (no 3g), and none of their gsm carriers have released it. I've been hearing that stores up there are selling fuze's for $600! anyways, post on howardforums; lots of canadians there. just make sure its unlocked. good luck..
and again to idiots like perdurabo2, STFU, mind ur own business. you dont want to buy, thats fine, ur opinion is not needed/wanted
hey jon, dont mean to get personal but whyd you buy THIS fuze? i read your post saying that you wanted to go back to your tilt and thats why u sold your first fuze..

Hey, Brought it for someone that decided he wanted the iPhone instead, so as I brought it outright, I figured I'd see if anyone wanted it. I still have a Fuze, Tilt, & iPhone, well 2 Fuzes, 2 Tilts, and 1 iPhone. LOL I'm just nuts. hehehehehehhehe. I love gadgets, but The Fuze I'm going to trick out and see what happens. Something for me to have fun with. Guess after I sold the 1st Fuze, I saw all the excietment on here and decided to get another to have fun with it. I actually do use 2 phones and take them both with me. One business one fun.

You can go f**k yourself. When someone posts something to a public forum, it no longer is just their business. He's asking a crazy price and I want to make sure people don't get suckered into it. If you don't want feedback, don't post in a public forum.
Thank you, please drive through.
So I have been wondering for a while how we here on XDA like to buy our phones.
I hope to catch most everyone with the following categories. And please leave a comment on why you buy the way you do.
Please help me figure this out!
I always have to buy them outside from my country because immediate availability and better price
I trade my Phones on XDA, good deals lol
Sell my old phone on eBay and buy the new one I want at full retail.

I shop around for the best place to cash in my subsidization upgrade. Got my Focus for -$22 on contract!
online
I will look for online stores that can provide me handsets at discounted rates with complete reliability.
got my used T-Mob HD2 on ebay.. not available in my country, so the only possibility is to buy it from there..
I like buying my phones online since I get a better selection to choose from and no dealing with pushy salespersons....
Sent from my Droid using XDA App
I normally buy phones from Craigslist since people in my area don't really seem to know the worth of phones. I got my MyTouch4g the week after it was released for 300. Then I sell the older phones on eBay.
I prefer eBay or something like that. Contracts try to hold you down.lol
I shop for mine online. Best deals hands down.

Prefer prepaid full retail, or second hand.
I won my current phone though Huawei IDEOS for free
Almost always off contract, but I try to buy used or refurbished.
I will buy it on Contract. I can get any phone of my choice at cheaper price and it doesnt matter that after contract gets end I will have to gave my phone back.
Most of the time I pay the upgraded price of the phone. Ie. Whatever it cost with a 2 year extension.

Let us know if it works, Ill do the same thing then
just came back from walmart and yes they priced match with no issues and no restock fee.. did not know about the cotsco deal , smh.. o well. truthfully i do not think they match wholesale outlets anyway.. maybe sams would.
Just came from Walmart.
After showing Costco Membership card, they matched the price to $499 and I did an exchange due to a dead pixel in my first phone...
darn, good job... congrats
by the way my new phone will not sound upon notification.. a text for example.. it rings fine when someone calls me . but texts stay silent.. any ideas?
Huh, i'm a Costco member, and I didn't know they were selling the Sensation so low.
I hate contracts (and am on TMo with a Nokia on Even More +). But, i was going to go for hte contract by stacking the SENSATION50 code with Saturday's Father's Day promo. That's $170 savings.
Even More + (off contract) will only save me $15 a month = $360. Add the cost of the phone upfront, and I am at break even.
Might as well not spend $500 today. Unless, of course, I need to break the contract, then i would be $200 down by going with the contract.
Decisions, decisions....
So do I need an actual print ad from T-Mobile when I go to walmart? Or will they honor online prices?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4g with extreme prejudice
Just price matched the costco price at my walmart. The cs manager was skeptical but they did it anyway because costco doesn't have a paper ad.

When they asked me I told them I didn't have one. If there was a problem to just refund me the money and I will just go tmo and buy another. Transaction completed. Lol
Hi, I got my G2x recently and love it with all the customization I did on it. Now I want to buy one for my wife, but do not want go for another contract and monthly rate. My wife already has a prepaid account with t-mobile.
So if I buy the phone today (coming for free with 2yr contract) and cancel the account after 20 days and pay them around $270 ($200 ETF + $35 Activation + around $35 for 20 days of service), will there be anything wrong?
Hope T-mobile will not ask me to return the phone if I it is after 20 days and I pay the ETF.
Did anyone has done this in past?
thats how i got my g2x to start with..i paid the 199$ with 50$ rebate so 149$ paid etf after 15 days 200$ paid 349$ when phone was 500$ outright.
they said nothing.

Thanks for confirming that. At less than 300 its a nice phone to have..
If you can do that you are getting an excellent price for this device new. I paid $255 plus shipping for an excellent condition used device. New ones from reputable websites cost over $450.00. You are fulfilling your obligation under the contract you agreed to so I see nothing wrong in doing this. This type of practice is why Verizon raised their ETF fees. People were getting new phones, paying a $150 cancellation fee and then selling the devices on eBay for more than double what they paid.
Try going to Target. My local target just gave me an amazing deal. They have much more leniance when it comes to upgrades and new plans. Im on a family plan with 5 lines. Only 2 were eligable for upgrade. He gave us 4 phones at upgrade price while only upgrading 2 lines. Three G2X's @ $149.99 each.
I just ordered the G2x for my wife. Wish there was a way to tell t-mobile that I really do not need 20 days of service and want to cancel now
Go on ebay, you can find a bunch of these phones on their now.

Minimum I could find is $315. And ebay purchases always have issue with warranty. So getting form t-mobile for less than $300 is much better.
Wow. you guys are brilliant. lol. I think i'm gonna try that now that the g2x is free.
If it works out then great. I'd make sure to read through any fine print very carefully before making any commitment to sign or cancel the contract. Are there special conditions/fees when you're getting the handset for free?
Yea he has to carry the data plan on that line also for the.partial month so that's another small fee you have to figure in plus activation fee.

I added everything in my first post:
early termination fee = 200
activation = 35
Service = 35 for 21 days. ((50/30) * 21)
total = 270 + tax...
Everything should come for less than 300.
Right on.

You are right about eBay. No warranty as they are resales and/or not authorized resellers. The warranty is for original purchaser from authorized sales channel only. eBay and Craigslist are not authorized sales channels. Go the T-Mobile route and have a warranty. Good catch. Enjoy your low cost phones.
This should be stickied, haha. Tmobile would be getting all kinds of people doing this.
dont make a habit of buying phones!! I have a pretty long list of them, anyways Ill probably being selling a sensation for a g2x and $140 today. Just not a fan of sense UI!

That's one of the reasons I bought a G2X and imported it to Thailand. The 2X models sold here have the god awful LG UI, which appears to be a mimic of the Samsung CrapUI. I hate them all. I prefer plain Android UI thank you. Plus the demo unit I saw at the LG store at a local mall here had more craplications on it then I have ever seen before. Three or four screens of them. Way more than the few apps T-Mobile forces upon us.
Yea MIUI is running pretty nice on mine. Loaded up Go Launcher and I'm pretty happy.
Really happy with this phone. Lots of development for it. CM7, MIUI, custom stock, OC/UV kernels. Very nice.
LG G2x - 2.3.5 MIUI Love
Asus TF - Custom 3.2

So I've been following this phone for a while, and can't help but want to get it.
I'm using a 32 gig iphone 4s now and am thinking about just selling it on craigslist and buying this one outright.
Unfortunately one of the reasons I want to get back to android is the customization and being able to try out roms ect. And as everyone has been talking about lately the AT&T One X has a locked bootloader. Also I don't want the international one because i really want to get LTE
So now I don't know if I should just do the easy thing and grab the AT&T one and hope that they bootloader gets unlocked, but I've been hearing that the roger one is exactly the same to the AT&T one except the logo and bloatware, both things I don't particularly want.
So now my question, would grabbing the Rogers one be my best choice? Would I run into any issues using it on AT&T? Also is there anyway to get the rogers one here in the US? Online somewhere for the same price? One last thing is I've heard that the AT&T gets a free 25 gigs on DropBox would I still be able to claim this if I went with the Rogers?
Thanks alot,
Alex
Don't buy the Rogers one. It's $170 overpriced right now.
Just get the AT&T one off contract. It will be unlocked eventually here.

I too agree with his reasoning. Definitely get it off contract as its much cheaper than the Rogers version. Besides, the stock experience of the phone is actually great.
Where would the best place price and return policy wise be at?
I don't think costco allows you to buy their phones with no contract unfortunately because I love their 90 days policy.
Amazon and ATT seem to have the best prices otherwise. 550?
Either have the upper hand with returns though?
Amazon wouldn't have a restock fee.
I bought mine outright. $549.99 plus taxes (ouch) but ill be making a lot back after selling my Lumia 900. Dont regret it a bit
