[Concept] Google Play Store UI - Android General

I'm sure most of you saw the "leaked" play store that was supposedly going to be announced today with Jelly Bean. Obviously it was not, and it was fake. If you hadn't, here is a link to an article featuring the image. http://www.itproportal.com/2012/06/27/android-jelly-bean-feature-new-google-play-store/
I liked the general layout of the render in the picture, so i decided to create my own using basic elements, with a more refined cleaner look. This is what i came up with. Let me know what you think!!

Nice one mate!
That looks damn sexy
You did a great job, but too bad that it's fake
But I still think JB will have an updated UI. In the Nexus 7 video it had an update Play Shop UI

Awesome. Google? Make it!

Awesome, if I were you, I would suggest this idea to Google

Beautiful! Google needs to see this, not only shiny, but a very intuitive and touch friendly interface.

Why can't gb have the new play store and all that other stuff? I mean they would still work on gb since it's browser related.

The last time the Google Play Store app got a major redesign, it was still called the Android Market. So we're about due a visual refresh, and it looks like a new version could be headed our way sooner rather than later.
YouTube's Eileen Rivera posted the screenshot above on Google+, showing a lighter, more colorful design with more prominence given to the main store areas, and larger app icons below. "Games" also gets its own entry, whereas before it was found under "Apps."
Right now it looks like Google's just sharing the new Play Store among its employees -- check out the little dog bowl icon on the top left -- but if Googlers are posting pictures of the new app publicly, chances are we won't have too long to wait for the public roll-out.
OMG IM SO EXCITED, I HOPE THERES A TABLET VERSION!!!!!!,,!!,,!,

Moments ago, Google officially flipped the switch on their completely redesigned interface for the web version of the Google Play Store and it looks… glorious.
Besides a look more in-tune with the Android application, the new Google Play interface FINALLY makes user Wishlists accessible via the web, making it easier than ever to save interesting apps for later downloading. Lots of new stuff here, folks. Make sure to check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
but I keep getting "An unexpected error has occurred". Looks like they need a little more time to work the bugs out, or, less likely, a flood of people are checking out the new design and google can't handle the load.
How many of you facing the same Problem ??
Please Comment below!!!
It looks good, I don't get any errors, but the menu display is broken in Opera:

[APP/MOD][4.0+] NPR News Holofied v1

NPR News has an ugly, clunky UI. I decided to redesign parts of it to look nicer.
You can find more "holofied" apps by other developers at Holofication Nation.

Bad ass! Thanks for this! :victory:
Looks fantastic. Any updates planned?
@bejank Looks great on a phone, but gets all screwy on my Nexus 7 tablet. Any chance you might have a look with that in mind?

Playlist Migration
@bejank,
Since you've worked with the NPR News app, I'm wondering if you have any ideas about how to migrate the playlist from one phone to another? Each time I get a new phone I email the NPR News app developers but they always say it can't be done. I'm sure it can, I just want them to tell me which file contains the playlist. I'd appreciate any help you could provide.
Thanks, Kelly

[APP CONCEPT] Twitter Holo/Google-style app design concept

Holo Twitter app concept
The Twitter app has a tolerable design, however it is not very practical (few elements in wrong places) and it is not proper Holo! There are a few 3rd party apps but they're still not it. This is why I designed this concept. It's similar yet different from Twitter's current flat UI parts of it are based on the latest update of the Google Newsstand app. The first two photos show the phone version, the rest show the tablet (Nexus 7) version in portrait mode.
Also keep in mind that I am not a developer so I can't make this app, but I decided to share it if there is a developer who could! If so make sure to contact me.

Please tell me what you think!
Those who have seen my Holo Facebook concept (which you can find HERE if you haven't seen it) can probably tell that they are very similar (except for some mechanics characteristic to Twitter/Facebook), and indeed they are, but I really believe that this design would work really well in both cases.

All photos here are broken?
EDIT: Nevermind, I think it was a problem with my browser
look nice :good:
Would anyone want me to design a concept for a Holo web browser?
