Tasker help - Associate with specific SSID - Android Apps and Games

I'm new to Tasker and I need help with setting up a profile. Basically, I need to make it log onto (no security) and SSID, then switch and log onto a different SSID. I won't get into specifics, but for me to log onto this network, I have to work connect to one SSID, then after it's connected, I connect to the second SSID and then I have internet access...but I can't figure out how to make it connect to an SSID by name, then pause long enough to connect (maybe 30 seconds), then reconnected with a different SSID...
Any ideas?

disable WZC

Is there a way to disable WZC, so that I connect only the my predefined WiFi APs, instead of trying to connect to everything available?
My home AP doesn't broadcast ID, thus it often takes a while to actually connect after giving up on other APs nearby

[Q] Connect to Wi-Fi router not broadcasting SSID?

Just got my Gtab yesterday and haven't had time to mod/root yet (aside from the automatic update that installed when 1st connected) but was wondering if there's a way with stock ROM to enable the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi router that's not broadcasting its SSID.
I have the connection set up, but it will only find my router when it's broadcasting the SSID, which I'd prefer not to do, and I don't see an option to connect even though the router's not broadcasting it.
I was hoping that once it established the connection, it would remember and reconnect even after disabling the SSID broadcast, but it doesn't.
If not possible with the stock ROM, is this possible with any of the alt ROMs out there?

[Q] Question regarding WiFi Scan Methodology

Hi all,
When the Android device screen is off and after some time when the wpa_supplicant driver has stopped, the wifi connectivity is OFF. Again when the user turns the screen ON, the driver tries to jump into the last remembered AP (knowing its SSID and Freq also called active scan), it tries to connect to it. If it is not possible, it scans for other AP's in the vicinity by listening to scan interval time(also called passive scanning).
My question is
In the device, under wifi settings, we can see a list of AP's in the wifi networks. As described above, when the screen is turned ON and when the wpa_supplicant tries to establish connection to an Access Point, what is the procedure followed.
1) Does it poll simultaneously to all the AP's in the list? (OR)
2) Does it poll all AP's in the list one by one? (OR)
3) Does it poll ONLY the last pre-remembered/last attached AP and then goes onto passive scanning ?
Thanks

Gear S2 Wifi Authentication

Am I completely missing something here? Why can I not get my watch on our wifi network. It requires authentication. But if I make sure that bluetooth is enabled. It scans the network and I can see it. However if I try to connect it tells me authentication errors. But I can not find a single spot to add login or password or any authentication option. Only options to connect to wifi are AKA and SIM.. How the heck do I get this thing on a wifi network??
Try disconnecting from Bluetooth and allow your phone to locate your wireless network. You should now be prompted for SSID and password. I personally had a hard time entering a complex password as part of WPA2 requirements. So I enabled WPS on my router and used it to connect my S2 fairly quickly. Furthermore, I don't believe it will use Wifi as long as you are connected to the phone via bluetooth. It can switch to wifi if you are out of the range of bluetooth or choose to use the watch in standalone mode.
Sync your saved wifi information from your Samsung account to your watch. It will log into the wifi network. I had the same problem and after syncing with my phone's saved wifi info it says it's logged in but it will not transfer any data on that wifi network.
Works fine on my home network that only requires a password, but I want it to work everywhere I can connect to wifi with my phone.
Haven't found a solution yet.

Manually connect to wifi not broadcasting ssid

I saved my home wifi network profile and set it to connect automatically but as soon as I disable broadcasting ssid in the router, it wouldn't connect. I don't see any place to manually input ssid and password. It was there on previous Android versions.
Isn't that under add Wi-Fi network any longer?
I'm using a Note 8 ROM, and I believe the networking setup is the same as stock S8.
Go to Settings/Connections/Wi-Fi and at the bottom is "Add network".
The settings you need are there.
