What mods or tweaks do you guys recommend? I already installed Awesome Beats and S Voice, but I'm just wondering what other cool apps there are to use now that we have cm9.

Sense roms are fine. Just use the latest CM7 stable, 7.0.3 along with the gapps, and you'll be okay.
Using decks latest 1.2. So far, best 2.3.4 I've run. Give it a shot. Full wipe, etc, etc...

You really can't argue with AOSP ROMs. I mean, I guess it's not perfect until all features are 100% functional, but as far as I'm concerned the only problem is bluetooth, and only audio at that. Can still transfer files 100% intact.
After that it's got the most options, the smoothest interface, and doesn't have that no audio after first call problem.
