Xoom mz604 EU stock 3.0.1. Previously it ran US Andoid 3.0.1 DEMO Version (i don't know what this means).
Then i unclocked bootloader and installed EU 3.0.1. All was fine
I install CWM Recovery, reboot item, wait 2-5 sec, press vol.down button, but no "Anroid Recivery" title appears. Instead os this other options appear: "--> NvFlash", "--> RDS", "--> Fastboot".
So i have no access neither to stock recovery nor to CWM recovery. Xoom works fine, but i want to install Tiamat ROM...
What is wrong? Please help
Reinstall the recovery. Use this one. http://goo.im/devs/teameos/recoverie...ecovery-r6.img

No result. =( I wiped it, install new stock ROM (US version), then install recovery and nothing changes. The same titles: NvFlash, RDS, Fastboot
You have to boot it up from adb - type on your PC:
adb reboot recovery
It's done, good luck young man

Do this:
To download:
• Get the Motorola USB drivers to your laptop: http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers/
• Get the Android SDK to your laptop: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
• Recovery Image: http://goo.im/devs/teameos/recoverie...ecovery-r6.img
Steps:
1. Power off your XOOM device.
2. Press and hold the volume down button while pressing the power button at the same time. Note: Even if your xoom starts again, just keep the button pressed until you see "Starting fastboot protocol" on the screen.
3. Connect Xoom to your computer via USB.
4. Open a ‘Command Prompt’ or ‘Terminal’ window on your computer in your sdk/tools folder. This is the sdk you downloaded above.
5. unlock your xoom and flash the recovery image. The recovery image should be in your current working directory where you have command line navigated to:
Type:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash recovery eos-recovery-r6.img
fastboot reboot
adb reboot recovery
Now, you have your device unlocked and recovery installed.
The above, will unlock your bootloader again and flash you the recovery...
Nice =) Thanks! +++

Dear All
My HK ver 3G XOOM. When I use the one-click-root program, It was crash and holding on the dual core moto logo, I use the method which in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1203128
then my xoom can boot-up to system but it only have 4.18G in the internal. When I use the method at the link, but I can't fix the problem. What can I do?
below is the step what I did:
1. When I use the international rom the XOOM is 3.01
2. OTA UPDATE to 3.1
3. use fastboot toe reflash recovery to CWM 3.2
4. go to android recovery
5. saw it is CWM 3.2 recovery mod
6. install zip at SD-card
7. install the Tiamat-Xoom-Rom-2.1-Hammerhead.zip
8. install the Universal Xoom Root.zip
9. install the hk-ver-update.zip (download at this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17070610&postcount=46)
10. reboot the xoom
then I only hold it on the boot screen. can't go to system.
At now I reflash to the international rom and OTA update to 3.1 now.
Any one can help me, thank you very much for this

just do unlock it then reboot again ..
You're doing it wrong!!
Steps are:
1. Unlock bootloader (need flashboot and adb drivers from moto)
2. boot up os and turn on USB debugging, on PC open cmd, navigate to android ask folder\platform tools
3. Type 'adb reboot bootloader'
4. Type 'fastboot OEM unlock'
5. follow on-screen instructions on tablet
6. type 'fastboot reboot' in cmd
7. download recovery image and place it in platforn-tools folder.
8. Reboot into bootloader again using adb
9. Type 'fastboot flash recovery *name of recovery image*'
10. Reboot into cwm on tablet to flash universal root zip.
After that you can flash any roms/kernels you want through cwm.

I apologize if I have understood this all incorrectly, but kindly clarify the following for me.
What I have already done:
1. Installed CWM (ClockWorkMod) on the tablet: Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 using Odin
2. Installed the rooting zip file from external sd
3. Made a backup image on an external sd
What I need to do:
1. Flash a custom ROM onto the device from my PC using fastboot
Errors:
1. Fastboot devices returns nothing (absolutely no response... please find the attached pic)
2. Adb reboot bootloader - just reboots the OS (not in fastboot)
3. Fastboot oem unlock says waiting for device endlessly.
My Queries:
1.I have a recovery mode and download mode (aka odin mode). Is either of them the FASTBOOT mode or is fastboot something completely different. If so how to get into FASTBOOT mode??
I read I have to get a USB icon and a Fastboot mode display on screen. I do not.
2. Why is my device not showing under fastboot devices (on download mode, neither show the device.), but adb devices shows the device under recovery mode
3. Is it possible to flash a ROM using fastboot if I have CWM installed. Or does CWM disable fastboot?
4. Also does this device have a Fastboot mode at all? If yes how to get into Fastboot mode??
From what I've read here, there is no fastboot mode on the Tabs.

load it on your external sdcard, boot into cwm and do a fullwipe/factory reset then install the zip from sdcard. poof, rom installed
to boot into cwm, turn off the tablet.
press and hold power and volume down (the one closes to power button) once the samsung tablet logo appears let go of power and continue holding vol down until cwm appears (this can take a couple minutes)
Thanks then!

Worked for me too, TFT300TG with 10.6.2.11. Thank you!
I have ASUS TF300TG with unlocked bootloder (4.2.1 kernel 10.6.2.11) official. I installed all the software's (Minimal ADB and Fast boot), but when choosing RCK icon gives me an error with the green robot. What can I do?
*Tablet loaded normally.
Please help me!
Hi,
Today I decided to falsh costume ROM :Crombi-KK. But suddenly I run into a problem...
Things I did:
I unlocked the bootloader - using ASUS Unlock Tool v7.
Downloaded and installed 15 SEC ADB Installer.
Downloaded TWRP version 2.8.7.0 and 2.6.3. (tried both).
Renamed "downloaded" file to twrp.blob and copied it to the folder where adb.exe and fastboot.exe are located.
Turned off my TF700T and pressed Volume down + PWR buttons for 2+ sec until I got RCK, Android and Wipe Data icons.
In adb console wrote: fastboot devices ---> fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery twrp.blob ---> fastboot reboot (after each step, console responded correctly)
But than happened nothing. It did not boot or restart and I could not choose any of three "RCK, Android and Wipe Data'' icons. I managed to start my device by pressing Volume down + PWR buttons.
What should I do next? What might be the problem?
What's your bootloader version?

I currently have custom TWRP recovery.
I've looked around, and the only tutorial I could find for the K1 is something that needs a file it doesn't provide.
Anybody here know how? (What commands to run, what to do in TWRP, what specifically to download, what to do with said files)
The official way is to download the recovery images and flash them with your PC.

Use your brain and read!
From the link given above:
SHIELD TABLET RECOVERY IMAGE FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS
To follow the instructions in this guide, you will need adb and fastboot.
These tools are provided as part of the Android SDK:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Before flashing this recovery image to your SHIELD TABLET, connect your SHIELD TABLET
via USB to the PC where you downloaded this recovery image.
Next, put your SHIELD TABLET into fastboot mode using one of the following methods:
SW method:
- Boot to android home screen
- Connect the device to linux/windows system
- Open terminal (on linux); command prompt (on windows).
- Type "adb reboot bootloader" in terminal/command prompt
HW method:
- Turn off the device
- Press "Volume Down" -> "Power", hold "Volume Down" and leave Power buttons till device boots
To flash this recovery image to your SHIELD TABLET, run the following commands from
the directory where you extracted the recovery image package. If this is the
first time you have done this procedure, you must unlock the bootloader (see
below):
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img

Strange instructions. Official ROMs should flash fine with a locked bootloader.. and last time I checked, there was a script for all these fastboot flash X commands.
I would hope that there are more accurate instructions in the actual factory image zip.
Sorry, I'm very new to these sorts of things, and didn't realize I had to unzip the files. I thought I just had to flash via TWRP like any other ROM.
