I have to say THANKS, works like a charm on Sandvold's ICS 0.13.1. Not easy to compare if beats libs are making some remarkable difference but I like that boosted sound and it is what matters Thanks once again.

Ahhh yes!!! You found a bug for me I didn't change the name on all the language strings in the app only in English that's why u see DSPManager. Its the same as Awesome Beats just didn't change the name for other languages.

Hi there, I tested this on AOKP B39.
After flashing, the Beats Icon was present in the App drawer, but it had wiped out the music effects Setting completely in Settings-Sound.
The Application itself just made the system freeze, and I had to do a battery pull.
I will produce a logcat a little later when I'm home.

Thanks if your gonna reflash just wipe cache and then reflash and then test it that way on the other website (cough) it was tested on aokp 36,37,38,39,40 and it worked good.

I flashed the Mod on top of aokp build39 (ofc with wiping caches) and it will only add "DSP Manager" as choose in sound settings, not the "Awesome Beats" option like in the screenshot, any ideas?

Did Awesome Beats App install? You might have to manually install it.

Nope it is missing, did not looked up the install .zip if everything installed, hehe. Will install it manually now, thx very much for the amazingly fast reply. :cyclops:
edit: ah the awesome beats app is just shown as DSPmanager in my app list, so also the setting in the sound settings is named DSPmanager and not awesome beats, have to test if it works in practice.

Installs just fine on HP Touchpad but doesn't have the extra option for beats (unless I don't know where to find it)

i flashed you zip. DSP changed icon to a beats audio icon.
i searched for music control in settings but there is nothing. I'm on CM9 (Extreme AOSP Blitz ROM)
Any idea? even in DSP and Apollo no option

When a Bluetooth headset like mw600 is attached the audio is modified through speaker tab rather than Bluetooth meaning that Bluetooth tab settings have no effect.

No not necessarily I use it thru Bluetooth in my car thru cheap headphone etc and you can hear a difference with beats headphones the sound just greatly improves. As long as settings / sound / music effects is set to Awesome Beats.

Every headphones are different so I and everyone else uses different settings my headphones are from the dollar store lol so I need higher settings

Just flashed this and now my cell radio isn't working and neither is wifi.
What the F? If this is only touching audio lib files, then why on earth is the radio affected? Running AOKP b40.

Clear cache and reboot this doesn't have no affect to no other system files but audio !

It only installs 2 apks and audio files it doesn't touch nothing else it's been tested on 32 one s and installed properly. I don't release untested mods
Edit can u provide.more feedback on what rom your on thanks

I'm on AOKP build 40. That's about all I can tell you. And on the updated .16 US radio.

It was not his zip file. It is a known issue upon reboot with AOKP rom. Radio and mod version get lost after reboots. If you want to keep using AOKP then shut off phone , hold power/volume down to go to boot loader, then boot into recovery then flash radio zip. Radio should show again but unfortunately mod version shows still unknown.
Its why I left AOKP for CM9 today. CM9 is much more stable with fewer bugs.

Works great on the latest cm9 alpha 12 no radio issues, if I'm not mistaking I think aokp might still have the radio issue I could be wrong.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, DSPManager... Energy tried it but it fails; does not work for stock music app, etc...

Does not work on AOKP with PowerAMP.

so using this mod with iheartradio on aokp build 40 i get this crazy static sound every few seconds thats quite annoying
and there were no audible changes on my transformer prime with cm9 rc1 (with the native dsp manager or this mod) which is weird... fixing to see if androwook makes a difference
edit: no luck, still no audible effect changes on androwook 2.0 either..

What This Mod Does:
RockoDev Team Beats Audio file I have added some more files Bootanimation and Dolby SRS.
Now you can hear more clear beats of music with Dolby SRS wow features.
Many many thanks to ROCKODEV team and all who involved in making Beats audio.
Requirements:
-Jellybean 4.1.1 CM10 sys-part install
-Nandroid Backup, I implore people to have atleast one recent one as this method is faster.
NOTE:-- THIS ZIP ONLY WORK FOR ANDROID 4.0 AND UP DEVICE
Installation:
1. Copy zip to SD
2. Boot to CWM
3. Install zip from sdcard
4. Reboot

No because if instal beats audio
DSP no work
Only xloud the best bro

will this work on pure cm10 ?? does it harm the phone speaker ??

This is especially for those who use a headset, since it wrong to say that the speaker and not terrible even with improvements
CM10 works mainly yes but all the same basic

Can you make it compatable for cm9?

i do not use 4.1 JB due to lack of stability. can anyone make it for ICS?

Awesome beats/dsp manager?
Since I flashed second one louder beta and the
audio output seems to be very rough ( too much
of bass) and so I flashed the first one beats audio for sl.
But to my surprise it worked flawlessly.

there is a problem with xLOUD in effect

Added Bootanimation beats audio
Added Dolby Mobile

After it starts flashing i see no progress in the progress bar and then the phone reboots
But i get the bootanimation and dolby without the beats audio why so?
