LeeDroid tweaks as an APK or alternate tweaks? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi all,
I am interested in finding Leedroid tweaks as an apk file or an alternate way of centering the clock and hiding the battery and signal icons.
I also like the long press back, recent and home buttons to apps and functions and removing the three dot menu bar.
Is there any way to find these as an apk or is there some other tweak system that can do the same?
Thanks

Aokp has most of if not all the things you have mentioned. Not an apk but Rom.

Thanks for the replies,
Actually, if you install Insert Coin 7.0.0.0 all the tweaks I mentioned can be found there including removal of three dots, center clock, etc.
I also found a Leedroid tweaks.apk in a thread somewhere here, but the tweaks aren't applied after restart, probably because the phone is not supported.
Also tried Zipthemer with these mods: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661162,
but after you install there is a confirmation window on which the OK buttton can't be seen because of screen size.
Hopefully one day there will be an .apk or something similar for these simple tweaks. I think they come very handy, especially hiding the battery and center clock.
All the best

Lol that was my post and zip themer does work on the one x. I didn't mention that post because since most of the devs are using a modified system ui to get extended quick settings and I for the life of me can't get the new systemui to decompile and recompile to mod the satus bar xml. That center clock mod you linked to still works on stock roms and I wrote that before we could flash zips so the zip file that zip themer creates can now be flashed. I am actually using now I just an original systemui with my current Rom and apply the mod to it. What Rom are you running? Also can you supply a link the the insert coin mod your offering to I'd be interested n taking a look at it.

is there any easy way to edit the color or which toggles?
Hey man awesome job!, how can I make the white bar behind the toggles black?
Anyway you could strip this down to not mess with default virtuous icons?
Also being able to choose the widgets and their order would be cool.

Screenshot shows 6-bar strength meter and smooth battery icon. I had already done those mods. Does this mean your mod will include those as well? (Since you say that the mod overwrites all other icon mods). If so, looks like just what I need to get those powerwidgets.
is their anyway to get a more stock version. black background, and all the icons from virtuous/stock ROM to be stock. That would be amazing
Flashed it yesterday. Looks fantastic. Works great. Nice job. Thanks! Now the only thing left to do is find a Rosie mod that works with it all.
Any hint how you managed to achieve that? looking forward to porting it to Desire HD
if this works on Virtuous, then it should be mostly compatible with all DINC Roms. A cleaned up version of this would be huge because most pulldown mods require some sort of Evo framework.
problem
i am having issues with this. after i install, whether through rom manager or recovery, after the install, when the phone boots up, it freezes on the HTC splashscreen. can anyone offer some advice?

will this work for virtuous 0.9.0 for vision??

Oh this is nice! I love quick settings and it was the thing I missed the most when I had to switch to stock for a few days. I would be all over this if I was a stock user. Thanks for bringing this to the community!
Works perfectly. I have my quick settings and my 4 in 1 boot and now i'm coo. All that other stuff is cosmetic. i'm all flashed out until custom 4.53 roms come out.

I can make a separate zip that will have both quicksettings and recent apps, though I am done for the night, so probably in a couple of days, I'll have it out, rest of the weekend/week is going to be busy.
I've used widgetsoid to replace pcw. Here's a guide on how it works.

It's better than nothing. Nice work BTW.

Right on, thank you! Don't use sense a whole lot anymore, but this fixes one of the reasons I don't.
But I always use theme stuff. Would it be hard for you to identify what you changed in systemUI so I could pull it out and just drop it in systemUI of theme I use? Or is it more complicated than that?
Also, does this affect the PCSCII that pops up when you plug into USB?
Thanks for this.

Here are some screenshots from my Swagged Out Stock ROM (attached below).
Only issue I faced was that the SystemUI.apk didn't work on it's own. (The apk was missing a META-INF folder, is that normal?)
Anyways, I re-enabled transparency on your classes.dex (after decompiling of course), pushed the edited classes.dex to my SystemUI.apk and got it working. (Although the transparency step is not needed). I have attached a working, Swagged Out SystemUI.apk (push it with Root Explorer, ES File Explorer, ADB, it's up to you).
From my testing, I thought some of the settings were not working at first. But after some time, they all started working (nice!).
With your permission, I would like to include this MOD into the next release of SOS (adding in the previous Swag as before, of course). All props would be directed to you (duh).
Also, for future reference (when you have the time), could you throw together a quick tutorial of how you did this? Like, which smali or xml's you edited and where. That would be great for future OTAs. Unless EOL means EOU(pdates) for the EVO
Anyway, thanks again man! This is baller as hell!!!!!

[MOD] SkySTOCKeteer Battery MODS with Percentage *UPDATED WITH MODS for 2.0*

I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PHONE. NANDROID IS YOUR FRIEND
Cooked this up in UOT Kitchen. It's working perfect on SkySTOCKeteer v 1.5 on my phone. This is a CWM flashable zip. Here's a pic of the Battery icon.
I've added a new Battery! Scroll down to find it! 2.0 Mods on Second Page
This is the battery icon on the phone. Enjoy!!

Seems to be working for me.
AT&T w/ SkySTOCKeteer v1.5, DA_G's kernel v0.3, and Go Launcher EX.
Thanks for cooking this up!
Thought I would contribute. My percentage in battery icon (It's an upright battery that starts at green) with green overscroll glow. It's for Skystocketeer 1.5. Also one there for stock 727R.
Enjoy!
Thanks for adding yours. It would be awesome to maybe set up a uot "diner" where people can come get the misc things we cook up for the roms!

I agree. Other devices and ROMs have a MODs and themes thread. If you are interested, since you are the OP on this thread, you could start a new one called "skystocketeer MODs and themes" and then I would hope that everyone would go to that one place.
will this work with other roms, or is it just for you rom?

Yeah it wiped it. Because the mods for the Menu are added to the framework-res.apk file so this one wipes it out when flashing it.

Sorry, I wish I knew enough about the framework to edit and and have both. Thanks for being the guinea though!
I never heard of this UOT Kitchen website.. I guess I never really had to attempt to theme my device before because my previous phone was heavily supported by developers.
But I was able to upload my framework-res that I had with the power menu and apply the sideways battery.

Themes for ZEUS ROMs... please feel free to add yours. Let me know after you add so I can link to them in the OP.
1. Theme - GENTLE BLUES - only framework, no apps updated | theme download link | uot settings file (unrar and use) | screenshots
1a. Theme - GENTLE BLUES - 14 notification toggles added | theme download link | uot settings file (unrar and use) | screenshots
* Credits go to xtremesv for the toggles. Taken from this post.
2. Theme - MONSTER GREENS - only framework, no apps updated | theme download link | uot settings file (unrar and use) | screenshots
3. Theme - By ALBEE320 - Hades - A red theme for ZEUS | post contains links and screenshots
Note: For themes by me, I have generated the theme using UOT kitchen, and then topped it off with my personal touches. For those of you who want to play the settings I used in UOT, I have attached the UOT file too. Name of it is similar to theme file name.
Note:
1. I have my LCD density set at 200, and not the standard 240. So images appear even more crisp in screenshots.
2. I am using Bauhaus font (about a $ in market).
Instructions:
1. Download/Copy the theme zip to internal SD card
2. Reboot into recovery
3. [Optional] Taking nandroid backup, just in case.

I just installed the latest available ICS version of ZEUS today, booted and then rebooted and installed your theme. However only some parts seem to be taking the theme.
- I don't seem to have the same font as shown in your screenshots
- I am also getting the same chunky and pixelated dark blue icons from the drop down toggle menu that came stock with the rom
- I do however see updated battery status icon, updated power menu, and updated pop up dialog screen windows.
Am i missing something, or does "framework only" mean that i need to apply further theme updates to over ride the items i mentioned above?
Thanks in advance!

I installed the beta version of ROM. And then flashed my theme. Font is "Bauhaus", and is a paid one that I bought long back.
So, except for the font, rest everything should be exactly the same as in screenshots.
And yes, theme includes only the framework files. I did not update any apps cos all changes would be overwritten when an app is updated.
I would recommend reapplying the theme, and wiping dalvik cache.
Thanks for the quick reply. Is there any way you can do something to improve the look of the power menu drop down icons? They almost look blown up and over pixelated and it's really the only thing i can't stand about this ROM.
I really enjoyed the look of the blue Transfusion themes for Infused, is there any way you can do something a bit more modern and clean like that for ZEUS?
Or at the very least, just the stock non chunky icons that come with Gingerbread.

Change the dpi to 200 (from standard 240), and you'll enjoy crystal clear clarity! No need of voodoo app settings or anything needed!!!
You'll need to do this change in build.prop file. Make sure you make a backup of this file.
One minor issue with this: some apps in market would come up as incompatible. So you could change to 240 once a week or two, update apps, and then get back to 200.

D your ROM is awesome, smooth like liquid butter! I also love that you gave us choice and provided two downloads, one with standard ICS theme, and one with heavily modded EX theme. This is definately a quality ROM and a forum favourite! However as you probably already know, many of us on here are picky when it comes to themes, myself included! LOL.. no disrespect to anyone intended. I guess i'll just have to wait for more themes to come out for this awesome ROM before i replace my trusty Infused 2.2.3 with blue Transfusion theme which i've grown accustomed to. To me, if transfusion theme were compatible with your ZEUS ROM i would definitely drop Infused in a heartbeat and move over to ZEUS!
Thanks to the hard work of all the devs and themers on XDA, we can afford to be picky with all the choice of ROMS and Themes that we have on here. Thanks D for a wicked ROM, i'll keep coming back to it as new themes and ROM updates are released.

Here's a little something for you DaMeatMan and anyone else that would like an alternative to the status bar pulldown toggles, as well as the extended menu icons and a fresh zeus wallpaper

If I flash your two files, I would be getting the multiple toggles options in notifications pull down. Am I right here?
No multiple toggles...I haven't coded them in yet..

(Mini Theme) 4.0.4 LRK SystemUI Sensation Theme Port

Update 3rd August 2012
Theme now is just one version combined layout style of previous 2 versions
includes all the minor changes from previous update(touched up data icons)
removed search icon because not working
download and screen shot at bottom of post.
Hope you like
This is a mini theme I guess. It is a port of the sensation rom systemui.apk and the battery charge anim works just like the original
It is only the systemui, criskelo-res and quicksettings apks and it is 6 toggles on screen because I don't think the 8 toggles suits.
Suits best with a blue or stock framework.
It is not fantastic and may need some touch ups but is at a point I am happy with and ok for now
Attached is two versions one with carrier text and one without (for now unless I can get it to look normal with the carrier text)
the pictures show the difference.
This is working on 4.0.4 LRK Classic rom but should work on other 4.0.4 roms too but the usual make a backup and flash at own risk
Both are cwm flashable
Thanks to
Grgsiocl
Criskelo
Crysis21
Hope this is ok and let me know thoughts
Thanks
awesome bro thanks for your great works !!
Note: Works on XXLRK Crash Rom V8

nice work and recollected my days on s2 with sensation Rom...
LOVE IT !
For the one with Carrier Text, are you able to add the additional icons beside it ? E.g. lockscreen, etc ?
I Haven't tried yet. Ill look into it when get some time and whether I can get it to look any good if i can get it to work.
I'm trying to add carrier text back to the one without and make it look ok, this is the best that I've done so far, i just can't centre text so its going to stay on the left for now.

Thanks.. one comment. The Data logo is a bit low. If you can move it up a few pixel to centralize it, it'll be perfect !

How did you get that "Ongoing" list of apps to appear ?

Yeah haven't got around to touching that up yet but will get to it, just wanted to try sort something out with the carrier text first.
Its an app from play store called elixer2 its free and I only use the status bar widgets cause they are very handy

I have touched up the data icons a little, raised the data in and out icons and centred. This does bring them a little closer to the wifi icon but I dont think its too bad as looks better this way now.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get a carrier name on the no carrier version and be fully happy with it and with getting the lock, recent etc icons onto the carrier version, I can not get anything that is stable enough for daily use, so going to stay as is for now sorry.
Disregard the green text and date in the screenshot as that is from my framework-res. If you stock or blue framework-res the text colours will remain the same.
Thanks
great looking mod. thank you. the only thing - i dont have running procceses in status bar as it is shown on the screenshot. is it some app used?

Thanks. Feedback:
- No carrier version - 3G, H and H+ are perfectly located, but Carrier version icons are misplaced
- No carrier version - Clear is really tiny
Looking good mate, nice work.
However I've tried both of your nocarrier zips and single click in the search icon does nothing. I'm on classic rom v3. Anyway we can fix this?
Also if its possible to make the 'clear' text just a bit larger so it would center perfectly in the button.
Thanks.
ahh it looks nice..gonna try this
It's working great for me on Classic ROM LRK v3. Just one point though, it is a bit light in color when any of the toggle is turned on. Thanks.

Hi, are you using the no carrier version? If so does your search button work on single click? Thanks.
working on getting the lock etc buttons on the systemui with carrier text so there will be just one version which has both things. Just having some stability issues with it hoping to niggle out so can use it.
I have fixed the data icons on the carrier version (sorry I mustn't of edited all the images needed my bad) will upload the fixed version later when get a chance.
As with the search button I have noticed before the theme it didn't open anything but I have just themed criskelo's systemui.apk so if anyone is using criskelo rom can they see if it works for them, as far as I understand in the code it is pointing to a search application to open but I am not sure if it is executing the command or just doesn't have the required search app installed. I will try and play around but can't gaurentee I will be able to fix that issue as it is there from the unthemed version (for me anyway), may have to remove the icon if can't sort anything out.
One more suggestion, the Wi-Fi logo look very low res, can you improve in that too? thanks
+1
I had user 0ne day, very cool!
...can edit number battery big than
Thanks
not working on galaxy note- unforunately system UI has stopped error
thanks
