Best Buy usually has the 32 and 64gb cards on sale. I don't buy cards from eBay or Amazon so I bought from somewhere I know I'll get what I'm paying for. I bought a SanDisk 32gb mobile ultra card for 34.99 and the 64gb were also on sale for 79.99. You'll have to catch the sales though as they go up one day and then back on sale the next week. They also have lots more cards for cheap too.

Did someone try the SanDisk mobile ultra sd card??
I want to buy 32gb for my phone , but I don't know whether it can use in my phone with a high speed.
I saw some review that the card can have 30mb/s read and over 20 mb/s write

I use 16 Gb 10 class Transcend microsd card.
Work well.
Does anybody know the read/write speed limits of our sensations?
i.e. would it make sense to buy the fastest sd card available or is an class 10 for example already faster than our phones can handle?
I think most brand would be fine. Just check the card's class rating if that's important to you. I wouldn't recommend buying one off eBay even though the prices may be cheaper there; I've heard that there are a lot of counterfeit fake SD cards being sold on eBay.

Sensation can only read the FAT32 format, the write speed is around 10MB/s, 20MB/s read
I think use USH-I is useless. I cannot use it in a high speed

The brand does matter actually. As an example, the Kingmax Class 10 performance is lower than the Sandisk Class 6 in many areas.
Sandisk 64GB MicroSDXC Class 10 Mobile Ultra is selling at about RM220 at my place which comes to about USD69. That's a pretty good price since 1 year back a 32GB card with a lower class rating cost just as much if not more. Planning to get it soon.
ADATA 16 gb class 10 microsd at meritline.com
Not sure about international, but the price is right for a class 10 card.
$12.85(USD not including shipping which I think is free in the USA) w/Code: MLC709YN For First 100 Orders
EDIT: They take international orders but they have conditions. I think they only accept paypal.

Anyone got a line on a cheap 32 gb micro SD card? The cheapest I can find is $90. Which is messed up, cause a 16 gb card is only like, 25-30 bucks. Any ideas?

Well, if I can put all my music and stuff on my phone, then I can stop carrying my ipod back and forth to work everyday, and that makes me a happier camper.

I normally recommend newegg, but I just checked and they only have up to a 16gb micro-sd card currently...not only that, but it's a whopping $51!
There is a 32 class 6 released by a company called Komputerbay. But the resulting speeds in the Amazon review are disappointing. If our phones will be compatible with sdxc, that's probably a good wait. You can get a class 4 for a decent price right now, or grab a 16gb class 10. Sucks that switching an sd is a pain in the g2.

This is $90 including shipping:
http://cgi.ebay.com/280571952778
but it's supposedly a Class 6 card so it should be fast - if it's genuine, that is...

I think the Kingston class 4 32gb was just released and is a little over $150. Class 10s are expensive, but as with everything they'll be getting cheaper with time.

Just wondering if the card vzw sells is class 2 or 4?
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
not sure. but whatever class it is, it cant beat the deal that newegg has. I got a 32gb class 10 or $68. received it the next day with free shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211558
True, but I get a good discount at vzw and don't have to wait.

I know you get a discount at VZ and probably won't need my recomendation, but if you decide to buy it outside VZ consider the following one.
http://www3.pny.com/category_buymulti.aspx?Category_ID=460
Factory sealed from the manufacturer itself. Heck, it even have a Xoom tablet on the package.
32 GB Class 10 @ 69.00dlls
Not to mention that I've heard more about PNY than the Adata brand above.
Vzw is class 2. But I got it and tb otterbox for $107. The card runs as fast as a class 6 or better. My question is why label it class 2 if it has a speed rating far past that? Sandisk says class is bare minimum it runs, and it is rated to run far past that in speed. It actually loads my pdf files faster than the internal memory does. That's a plus f for me. Thanks for the replies though.

So, I am considering either a 32 or 16 gb microsdhc card. Amazon has this Sandisk 32 gb card for 36.81.(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WGJYCY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A3I03IKXN1ZUN8) Anyone have other ideas for good sources for MicrosdHC cards? 32 would be awesome, but 16 will do as well. I've had good luck with Sandisk. Has anyone had good luck with some of these off-brand cards out there?
I like to use NewEgg, not always the complete cheapest but they generally have good deals. Their cards are normally not made in china however and if you do have a issue with read/write speed or anything for that matter their customer service is impeccable, they will not hesitate to send you a new card even before you send the other back so you wont be without.

Same here, just bought a sandisk 16g class4 two days ago for 19.99 w/fs, it's on its way to mah house.
I just found out this deal at dealextreme. KingMax MicroSD card 16GB and class 10 for 32 euro's!

It's a real and good brand and according to the test it really gets class 10 speeds so that should be perfect for your phone. Probably going to buy one soon myself.

Sorry I checked google but didn't find anything useful at the time, thank you a lot though and i got ripped off. and Are microcenter microsd cards legit?
Micro Center as a retailer is legite. But I don't think they have a Micro Center brand 32GB microSD. Do yourself a favor and buy from legite places like Newegg.com or BestBuy or even WalMart. And stick with a name brand card.
Got the lexar class 10 in mine from inception

Just remember you get what you pay for. If someone is offering a Micro sd at a price that seems too good to be true then it will be too good to be true. I agree with above. Stay to known good retailers. Like Best Buy or Wal-mart or office max.
Yes, I'm using a class 10 32gb micro sd right now. I did have to format it in a special way before it worked properly. See my post at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18832647#post18832647
Not that you may be on to something but I have only formatted past cards with windows or the phone itself and never had an issue like this. I have been using a 32GB card now for over 3 months. It is 85% full and works perfectly. And it was fully formatted (not quick format) with my computer in a card slot with an sd adapter.
I'm now using a 64gb micro SD.

Hi
I want to buy a 64GB micro SD card form my Samsung Galaxy S4 (getting one next week ). I'm thinking about:
Samsung Pro (read: 70MB/sec write: 20MB/s)
SanDisk Ultra (read: 30MB/sec write: 30MB/s)
SanDisk Mobile Extreme (read: 45MB/sec write: 30MB/s)
ADATA (read: 30MB/sec write: 10MB/s)
All of them are class 10 and support UHS-1
The first three cost pretty much the same, ADATA is like 2/3 of their price.
The speeds provided are probably for sequential read/write. I don't know what it looks like in terms of random access. Does it even matter since this is only storage for data? (as far as I know Galaxy S4 doesn't allow you to install apps on SD card)
My second concern is recording videos in full hd. Will all of the cards handle it?
Finally will the phone take full advantage of the declared read/write speeds?
What is the most reasonable choice here?
Speaking from personal experience, if you read up on it you'll find a lot of S4's having difficulty with some SanDisk higher capacity cards. When my SanDisk 64 gb card failed, I replaced it with a 64 gb UHS1 Samsung card. I have not had one issue with it, where the SanDisk failed daily.
No problems after CM11 M3 Snapshot

I'm using a SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card I got on Amazon for about $50 and It's working great. I had to do a FULL format as opposed to a 'Quick Format' on a Windows PC.
Before the phone would suddenly tell me the SD card was removed when it wasn't. Now after a full format and CM11 SnapshotM3 no probs.
This card has been in my S4 since the day I got it nearly 10 months ago and it has not once failed on me.

I know they have just been released but are the 128GB cards compatible with the S4? Currently have a 32GB card at the moment, which is a San Disk replacement, the original one I had failed completely out of the blue a few months back and San Disk replaced under warranty, not had any problems since. Probably wouldnt have need for a 128GB card but would be tempted to upgrade to a 64GB one in a few months. Still nice to know we can expand to 128GB. Would make an even better justification of the inclusion of the sd card slot on the S4.

Hmm, this would seriously help extend the lifespan of my S4. Considering most android phones now have no sc card slot and 16/32GB tops.
