Is anyone here interested in helping to get our device supported by Mobile Odin ?
You'll just need to test Mobile Odin after submitting two files to the developer.
It'll help you flash kernels & ROMs without a PC so you won't need a PC to check out the new stuff & can flash things on the go.

I have a rooted ardatdat v02 kernel. When I flash the v1.8.1 kernel through cwm recovery by installing .zip from sd card, it gets successfully installed .zip message and then i reboot the device it gets stuck at the Samsung logo. What to do?
Also when i tried to flash zsle6 TGY ROM using odin it failed and gave a binary signature

Did you mean CWM recovery? I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107881. Both methods work for me. The zip file for the rom must be put it in INTERNAL SD.
Well

I have ROM Manager and everytime I do that reboot into recovery, my phone reboots but I get rainbow screenthat doesnt goaway. So I was thinking about the 1st method but I have no clue what how how to use 3e or how to get it onto my phone can you help me?
Do not use rom manager for anything ....except to flash to clockworkmod....the easiest way is to use Odin to flash community kernel that has CWM injected into it then flash away....rom manager is a bootloop waiting to happen...

[Q] Modified e3 Recovery

Hi there,
I own a Rogers Samsung Infuse. I rooted and flashed CM9 onto my phone yesterday. Long story short, had an issue with Google Apps, and ended up with a phone that would constantly boot to the CWM Recovery screen.
I was able to use ODIN3 to get my phone back to stock, but could not flash CM9 (or anything) with CWM as I was (and still am) getting the:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
I tried using this: Odin - Stock (100% or Root+3e), but the phone kept getting stuck at the Samsung screen.
I tried watching the modified e3 recovery video on youtube, but my recovery file is sitting in the root folder, and not in system/bin where it should be. I ignored the location of the file, replaced it with the modified e3 recovery file, but when I rebooted my phone, it's as if the changes didn't take place.
I've been digging (maybe not hard enough) for a solution to this problem. CM9 looked fantastic for the 5 minutes I had it on my phone.
What can I do now?
It sounds to me like you lost cwm recovery if you want to flash cm9 you need to flash the ics recovery file. Doesn't verify signature verification

Out of curiosity, would you happen to know of CMW isn't compatible with either CM9 or AOKP's ICS?

Compatible...? You have to be on blue cwm to flash cm9 & aokp ....red cwm will not work...that's why you do a two flash...
My first attempt to get into CWM recovery after getting my phone back to stock and re-rooting put me into red recovery mode for reason. I ended up in blue recovery mode after trying to flash/reboot once? I completed the process in blue recovery to ensure it works, and it's been good since Monday. Only the Kernel Panic Upload Mode is giving me trouble...
I also got this problem
I also got this problem tell me please what can i do , i cant install any modes

You want the blue (ics) recovery to be able to flash an ics rom?
Look at this guide, you will find the heimdall one click linked in the OP.

I can see Blue letters while starting the phone in recovery mode. I assume that is Blue CWM. Please correct if I am wrong. If that is Blue CWM, then I need the recovery file. Please help.
Thanks
Bidhu
Not necesarilly. The stock 3e recovery also has blue letters, but you should be able to tell them apart. It actually says 3e at the top and only has about 3 options to select.

Doubt about kernel version!

Where does nitrality save the efs backup? I cant see it in /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup as it was mentioned in some earlier post. [this is SOLVED now ]
Now ANOTHER DOUBT is there. I was on zsle5 and ardatdat 1.7b2 . Then I wanted to unroot my phone and so I flashed the stock kernel given in neo rom thread. And then in about phone, it started showing [email protected] in kernel version, while initially it was something like [email protected] also I realised root was still there. So I flashed zsle5 via odin. Now su is gone but kernel is still that se.infra . How do I get back that [email protected] kernel??

Dont worry about it, if u want dell created kernel flash xwki5 or xwla4 it have kernels created by dell.
The name shown in about phone refers to its dev. Dell means its made by dell.

[Q] Q: Can not flash any roms on 4.0.4

I rooted my friends tablet gt-p5113 with 4.0.4. I used a different work around method to get the root to stick. I got clock work on but I can't seem to flash any roms on his tablet. I tried using 3 different roms already and I keep getting the same message with Andy on his back and his front door open with a red triangle saying can not open package or some thing along those lines. Any ideas?
I think flash stock firmware from for example www.samfirmware.com then begin again from the beginning !!!
When use a root file next time via odin untick auto reboot then reboot manual vol up+power then if question as fix recovery say yes

I'm kind of at loss. Would that mean that I would have to down grade to the 4.0.3. firmware?
The Tablet is already rooted. Using the method that you listed and using the latest clockwork mod file.
So may be try flashing another version of cwm as 6.0.1.0 or 6.0.1.2 or so via odin for example and make sure you are flashing right firmwares for your device specific model number
Make sure you have a proper root via app like root check basic and install supersu from market
Put the firmware in both internal and external sd and try flashing from both, may be one of them will work

I did install su. That's how I know I rooted it right. I'll try reflashing an updated firmware. Thanks for the help

Providing more info can get you better results, like rom /link, cwm version, procedures, this way others can help you diagnose your problem. A screen shot of"about tablet" is also very helpful.

[q] please help

Hello everyone i currently flashed my sph-d710 or sprint gaxy s2 to a kit kat rom. now first i tried flashing back to other roms, nothing lower then jb and i cant. so i was thinking of flashing a rom and tried backing up through rom manager and it brought me into recovery with an error. My a.d.d. having ass deleted the villumanti by accident b4 the error and i wiped/reset everything including cache during the error, and couldnt flash anything (i tried 3 roms). IN THE END I REBOOTED ALL WAS THERE.I think i have an idea of what happened. I think it could be due to a modem issue e.g. downgrading from kit kat to jb. Should i flash a custom kernel thru mobile odin and get the recovery from there(IM RUNNING THE LATEST CWM I BELIEVE)or should i boot into recovery wipe all data cache reboot recovery and flash the modem, reboot into recovery again proceed as normal. Also what modem should i use. If ive been to vague or you need any more info let me know. P.s. I ASK THAT ANY MOD WOULD APPROPIATELY PLACE THIS THREAD IN THE RIGHT SECTION SHOULD IT BE IN THE WRONG THANK YOU
