This is old polish branded rom, but still better to update via odin than kies.

So which means same TW4 bugs as other value packs?
can't someone just port SGS 2 tw4? gs2 i think no problem
any one tested it?
I just believe this is just another of those ROM samsung crafted half way, beacuse they were to busy making the S3.
Oh well guess I just bought a throw in the dust bin phone with my 2 year contract.

Are you sure this is a value pack rom? I don't think so because it was built last year.

only way to know is to flash and try, I didn't try it myself yet cus ain't got no time and most of the time when I use restore my backup from feamod recovery there is always one app or more Fc.
we are on xxKQ*
this rom is very old and branded.
I wouldn't change my swift kQ1 for anything.. only thing i miss from vp rom is lockscreen? Is it possible to change "old" style slide lockscreen for vp lock?

i think there is gonna be 1, just gotta keep faith in sammy.
I'm also waiting for the same, or 5 months to my device, whichever comes earlier, if it isn't released by then, i'll flash it with a fw from some other country. I heard through the cwm method, the yellow icon isn't a problem..
I hope there will be one..... but there might be a direct jump to ICS... you never know... but Sammy is ignoring this device........... I dont know why..... may be bcoz S2 sells like hot-chick....
Its really buggy....... 2.3.5
I thnk they ll directly go to ICS

I flashed the 2.3.6 stock rom listed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420596 and tried for a couple of days.
Tha main problems I faced were ->
1. Smart dailing dind't work. It found the number patter but not the Names.
2. Regional Unicodes fonts didnt work. Tamil fonts which were fine in the stock browser and facebook apps on 2.3.5 did not work with the 2.3.6 version.
So I moved back to 2.3.5 and living happily ever after.
What bugs to do you guys face in 2.3.5 ?
Hello xdities!!!
I am a student(18 years old.).Today i have exchanged my SGA with my father's SGSL.He was using froyo so now i want to update firmware to stock gingerbread.I am Indian so i want to be in first Indian stock then i will move on to some custom roms.
I have seen that the latest Indian stock is DDKP3.
So my question is that is this having any bugs?what about battery life?Or should i use some european roms?
And the last question which odin version are you using?

Try XXKPQ. Most mods right now are based on this firmware. I9003SERKPU is bad when it comes to battery life compared to XXKPQ

If the Indian stock is buggy, try the European one-XXKPQ.
There is no issue like got to be on an Asian ROM if you are an Asian.

No, only bug is sync bug, but resolved in last vurrut / bam kernel ( see relative threads )
what about battery life?Or should i use some european roms?

Battery life is relative, our phone has a good , VERY Good battery life than others smartphone ( some .. ) but anyway 4" display with 1 Ghz Cpu consuming a lot, anyway if you set brightness to 10-30% and CPU 300-1000 Mhz with Conservative or InteractiveX , your battery is ok
XXKPQ ( Russian Release if i dont wrong ) is suggest, not because its better than indian release, but simply because its more used and there are a lot of theme, UC kernel for its ( DDKP3 too )

Testing it for about ~1h.
Network signal is better than on KPL.
Battery drain - still 99%, as it was before I flashed it.
I'm not sure if it is because of new baseband or just because of lower electromagnetic interference at this time of day, but my WiFi connects to router much faster than before.
PS: Here is a baseband file only - DOWNLOAD (for ODIN, 19Mb). Made by SHiFT!.

Hey guys. Need some advice. I got this device from a friend. She bought it in China. It's a 3G GT-P6200. Now, the issues is that I don't know to which carrier it belonged to, and I want to flash an ICS stock ROM on it.
Here's the data:
Baseband version: P6200ZCKL2
Kernel: [email protected] #3
Build number: HTJ85B.ZKLC2 P6200ZCKL2
I'd like to flash the stock ROM for my country, Serbia. This is what I get in the recovery mode. Do you have any recommendations?

You wont be bricking your tablet by flashing roms from different country.. my tab was from the philippines and i flashed UK ICS rom..
No problem with it..
A way of bricking you tab is wiping from ICS STOCK RECOVERY..
Remember that well.. but wiping from HC Stock recovery is safe and from CWM..

It should, I think. I remember in the CWM for 4.1.2 thread there was a disclaimer that it wasn't tested on the non-P in the beginning as there wasn't a non-P user posting any feedback back then but as we know, it worked.

Has anyone tested CWM working for the GT I9105 ? I'm downloading this firmware. Will report back the good parts ..
Besides this if anyone can answer, if all the firmwares are the same then why does Samsung bring out a Different Firmware for every country?
Cant they just have one firmware for one phone universal around the world (except for network branded phones).
Ok, Jerry's CWM works with our device.
Been fiddling with my phone for the past couple of hours. No noticeable increase in battery drain nor heat issues so far.
The 4.2.2 features have been posted by our I9105P brethren, e.g most welcome for me is that moving apps to ext sd is now supported.
Developer options is hidden. To enable it, "about device" -> "built number" and tap it 7 times.
That's it. I've nothing else to add for now.

Nope, there's no Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese character input modules i believe. While non Russian/Balkan firmwares don't have support for cyrillic script.
By the way If you make a factory reset after flashing this new firmware, your phone's default language will be Russian
