I need to return my nexus to the correct stock and baseband for the uk
I have recently tried to root my nexus and apply a custom rom. I made sure I did some reading first and thought I had a good handle on the process.
Somewhere I have gone horribly wrong.
After rooting and applying a few roms my phone stopped recieving all mobile data. Texts and calls became intermittent at best and only a wifi conection would allow me to access the net. I have restored back to stock but never backed up my orrigional. I keep looking for the correct basband stock but cant find and have got my head in a mess. Now I have somehow ended up with nexus s4g operating system instead of just the plain nexus s,
I am located in the UK and would like someone to help me through this tangle I have created for myself.

Hello all,
I am prepared for your backlash and hazing but I used doomlords one click root yesterday w/o a hitch but forgot (was unaware I needed to) back up stock ROM. Now I got to unroot using doomlords files and it will not unroot so I can go back to stock.
I have searched all the threads that are suggested and it takes me right to the specific threads in which I am unable to post on....HELP please!

Hey guys!
I've got a huge problem. I tried to put the new cm (ICS) on my defy. I did it like this manual: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20097916&postcount=3
But probably I installed gapps and Kernel, instead of flashing from SD.
Now I can't boot it into the reboot-menu and otherwise it just appears this Wallpaper with the bee and the motorola-logo.
Please guys I really do need you help, I'll get huge problems if I can'f fix this stuff.

Heres a link to a page of search results that took me 5 seconds. I typed in "Defy does not reboot" into the search box. If what you want is not there perhaps you can try it on your own. And if you can't because the search function is too complex, What are you doing rooting your phone in the first place?

Im new to this so I was wondering if someone could tell me the easiest way to put 4.04 on my galaxy nexus i downloaded it and tried to open it but it acted like a rom gave me the option to wipe data and cash like i was putting on a new rom and then i had to go use my back up to straiten things out Please bare with me im not to good at all this just a slow learner

Wanted to post this in the correct thread but I obviously can't, as it's a development thread and I'm a "n00b".
Flashed the previous version of the abovementioned rom (4.1.0) and it had two calendars: the built-in Android one, and the HTC Sense-supplied one. I need the built-in Android one as that's the only one WidgetLocker recognises (it doesn't recognise the HTC Calendar widget), but it's gone in 4.3.0.
I just want to know if it's a problem with my install or whether Lee removed it and if so, why. There may be a good reason and if so, I wouldn't want to fix what wasn't broke.
Then I'd know whether I should re-flash with a fresh download, do a clean wipe before flashing (even though Lee said that wasn't necessary), leave it as it is or whether it's okay for me to just re-install my Titanium-backed-up version of the Calendar.
Mods: Before you go ape on me for starting a duplicate thread, kindly note that the thread I started in the Android Q&A forum got 265 views and 0 replies after waiting patiently for 2 days. Catch-22: if you don't allow a user to make a post in the appropriate forum, don't blame them for putting it somewhere else. And when they put it somewhere else and no-one knows how to answer it because it's geared specifically towards the forum they're barred from posting in, don't blame them for duplicating it somewhere else again.

I upgraded my HTC ONE XL to android version 4.2.2, htc sense 5.0 , build number 5.05.707.1 and since i made it, my wifi connection doesn't work. I checked if there are threads which can help me I've found nothing. tell me what to do to repair it.

Now onto your question. You need to provide more information. Is your phone stock or is it modified? If it's modified which ROM/kernel are you on? What are your bootloader details?

As timmaaa mentioned, you haven't given nearly enough info for us to help.
If the phone is stock, and you upgraded via OTA, then I suggest backing up your personal data and doing a factory reset. Existing apps and setting play havoc with OTAs. Factory reset will give you a clean slate to work from and solves many random bugs resulting from the update.
