Are you serious? Ive posted about various phones using GB kernels. This was done so people could get ICS while the devs finalized the ICS kernel. Its also done on phones that will never see official ICS support.
As for tediously upgrading, that shouldnt be a issue. Once ics roms are released people will stop asking for eta's and if there are some. It will let people port things like CM9 and possibly AOKP and allow bhundven and co focus on building the ics kernel.

Flashed in cwm version 5 something and is working. I thought I was in a bootloop but it was just the way the bootanimation looked. I am getting low memory warnings after a reboot but after I dismised the popup seems to run fine.
I had to pull the battery to get the market to work for some reason. Anyway its working pretty good. I'll try this out today and let you know what is working and what is not.
Well so far its been about 30 minutes and I have noticed that I can't get the SD card to mount.

They are working hard on solving the major bugs, such camera's not working, solve major bugs is harder than minor bugs, when they get the full working ROM, they'll start to solve the small bugs, you just need to wait, since you don't make anything to help...

I flashed dta2sd without checking first but it worked fine for me.
Only thing weird is that some of the status bar icons sometimes, randomly it seems, revert back to stock ones and then after a bit go back to the ones you have on by default...weird.

Thanks for trying it out Don't expect much though, its just cm7 with a lil theming.. but its super fast

Downloaded both ROMs and GApps over 3G since the last post!
True Story, i started this port for you guys yesterday and ran out of time working on it and was gonna wrap it up Sunday. But like they say great minds think alike, mega its posted in prboys thread on how to add key lights, but there might be one more integer edit to make it act right with the KB open/close action. You can look in res/values/integers.xml for a line that says lidnavigation if it's set to 0 it needs to be a 1. Thanks for the comeback

Yes, good stuff.
Just flashed and am trying out this rom but first thing...nobody can hear me on calls. I can't get Gapps to install either.
Any suggestions?
Edit: I installed gapps-gb-20120613-Signed and that fixed my Gapps issue. Now onto the calls.

If you have the Rom already installed download that for the fix. I will be uploading it with it already in the Rom shortly. Please do thank Mouse24 and tathanhlam66 for helping and finding the fix for this Rom. I wish I still had you guys over Spectrum. All they do is wine & bleeep. They expect too much put it that way. Especially some of the greedy ones.

Is this directed towards me with the phone calls fix? The calls don't force close....just nobody can hear me.
