[Completed] [Q] PDA version and CSC version denoting different regions?

hey hello to all out there
Basically i am new in the forum but not to its threads which have always been a great help to me when it comes to rooting my smart devices or making them more efficient or whatevr so finally joined it to avial even more fun !
Well i own a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT- i9305 4G LTE which i rooted months back in order to install android kikkat 4.4 .But i later found that the android kikkat versions available den, were not the officail ones and the users complained various problems with the custom ones so i decided to wait for the official release and to install it manually using ODIN!
Now when the officail kikkat is avialable to download i am damn confused about regions i should download from ..coz my PDA version and Csc version denote different regions !
So what i need is some expert advice on this as to what to do in this case when the PDA and CSC /Product code show different regions!? Should i change my csc, den how?n how do i know the correct csc for my device coz my PDA shws i have a multi csc ?(n i dont knw what was my csc before i rooted)
Phone Info
Model:Gt - i9305 4g lte
Country of origin: MADE IN VEITNAM
Original CSC code: VDI
Product Code: GT-I9305RWDVDI
PDA version: I9305XXUEMKC
CSC version:I9305VDIEMK2
Base Band Version:I9305XXUEMKI
Android :4.3
(P.s- I dialed *#06# to knw the IMEI n through it i came to knw that my phone is from germany so my csc should have code that matches with germany code but my csc code i.e VDI matches to ireland )

if you have a g955F or g955FD (which i believe both the arab emirates and india have) you can flash an indian csc without a problem.

So you just want the symbol in statusbar to say lte instead of 4g? I really wonder why someone would care, but im pretty sure - when rooted - you can change this easily. Don't know if this changes with different CSCs tho.
Thanks
Thanks

change csc country code

My S8 G950F is runninng the latest beta 2 of android Pie. Is there a way o changing the CSC country code without root/twrp?
Current CSC is XEU.
Tried with odin and flashed a firmware that had the OXM multi CSC.
Tried *#272*imei# but code not working.
What to change to a CSC country that has by default enabled call recording in the dial like ILO.
The move made by Google regarding call recordings in android pie is not something I like.
Thank you in advance
@op Did you managed to change the csc file?
Anyone knows how to do this?

samsung galaxy s10e SM-G970n (Exynos) South Korea Problem

Hello! I ask for your help. I have samsung galaxy s10e SM-G970n (Exynos) South Korea. Version of an insertion of G970NKOU4CTC5. This firmware has a lot of pre-installed operator programs (KT) and even when the set is loaded, the operator logo comes out. Please advise the firmware version with less of this debris. Maybe somehow change the region and what needs to be done for it? Please write a detailed instruction or drop a link to it. I am from Russia. Thank you!
Launch the app, go to*Root Explorer*option and change*R/O*to*R/W.Navigate to*/efs/imei/*folder, edit the CSC code in the*mps_code.dat*file and save the changes. Then go to*/system/csc/*folder and edit your CSC in*the*sales_code.datfile.Now save the changes and reboot your device.
edit to KOO
end.

From the latest devices, ex)galaxy s10, s10e etc...
for csc change
If you haven't rooted, you should use a program called samkey,
I know it is a paid program.
It seems that csc doesn't change just by flashing the firmware to odin like the old devices.

Hi, Thanks for your reply, sm-s9180 only has 3 csc codes available, I need XXV ( Vietnamese) csc, but it is only available for the sm-s918b version of Samsung, do you know any way to add csc manually?
