Back up games data? [SOLVED] - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Those games that require you to install the app, and then they require you to download like 200-800MB more data over your wireless.
Is there any way to back up that 200-800MB additional data?
Titanium backup doesn't seem to do it.
So every time I flash a new ROM & restore my apps, I have to re-download that data all over again.
Any suggestions?

Majority of that saves to your SD card under android/data/[your app here]/

There are data save apps for specific games...have you checked?
But this is a really good reason to root...great ability to backup your data.
Titanium Backup saved my game data perfectly. Just backup the specific apps or choose user apps backup and choose to recover the ones you need.
Backup worked well for Spider Man and Alchemy.
Any system apps recovered onto a new rom or version tend to screw up.

Also Titanium Backup will give you that choice, as well as a ton of other options, like to make a backup copy of apps and their data to the sd card. Flashed my phone and restored all my programs with saved passwords data and everything using this program. The ROM I have now automatically installs all apps to the sd card unless they are required to be on the internal mem. :)

[Q] How to backup apps/settings so I can flash a rom?

Hi guys,
I'm a noob to Android and would like to backup my apps and their data so I can flash a rom.
All I really want is just some data from games I play and phone contacts/texts.
What is the easiest way I can do this? None of the threads I have found help in backing up app data.
If you just looking to backup the game download just save the android folder from your sd card or internal then use titanium backup it will save the way everything is set up also if ant if the apps have an option to backup settings then do that before tb and u should be good

Need clarification bout Tibu

So, I have a couple of questions about titanium backup. 1. Does your backup data store to the cloud? If not, where? 2. Let's say I make a backup of app data, then I change to a new ROM. If I try and restore my phone with the backup I made on the old ROM, will that brick my dad device? 3. Does Tibu backup more than app data? If so, can it cross over ROMS? sorry if these are noobish questions.

Forget I said dad. Not sure where that came from.

1. By default it saves to the SD card. If you buy the paid version you can have it additionally sync to the cloud (Dropbox, Box, or Drive).
2. If you restore only user apps (apps you downloaded from the market) and not system apps (ROM specific apps) you shouldn't have any problems across ROMs.
3. It CAN backup system apps if you wish, but restoring them on a different ROM is not recommended.

root quetion

friend is rooting and think data will be wiped
not changing roms and always a risk to brick phone but will one click erase data
I didn't wipe my data when I used it..
You can usually get away without wiping your sdcard partition so most of your app data, documents, videos, music, etc., will be retained, but all your apps, settings (that aren't backed up), etc. will be lost. You can use Titanium Backup to backup most of those items. It just doesn't work well with system apps.
You could always use my root backup fou d in app store. Saves things like call logs messages and a bunch of other things and you can reinstall it and get everything back. I use it to back up every time I flash a new rom
