Obviously you can't install android in your laptop like you install Windows. However, to run android on your laptop you get an android dongle.. it's got android built into it.. connect it to your laptop and enjoy android.. but i don't know if they are available at your place..

Contradictory to the above answer, u can install Android on a laptop.
Go to Android-x86.org and download the Asus variant
It may or may not be relevant to you but I strongly recommend you using Virtual Machine Software on your laptop (like VMWARE or VirtualBox) which would give you the two of them at the same time.
Not to mention you don't need to get rid of your Windows too!
THIS LINK shows how to do it in Virtualbox pretty well (sorry, not above 10 posts so just type in "virtualbox android" in youtube and this one will be the first video!)

Hello Guys, I am new to this FORUM and I sure like the posts and answers.
Well over the years I have been using one nokia phone or the other and this time I own a C6 and I am tired of the SYMBIAN Series, No Flexibility of customizing the home screens and the sluggish menus etc, etc. Can some help or find me a way to boot Android on my phone. I know there is a way to boot Android in Windows Mobile using Emulator BUT how about Symbian?
Buy Android phone, that is a really simple solution to your question.
btw can you share how to emulate android on windows mobile as you have quoted in your note.
I know there is news about Nokia N900 (Maemo) being run on Andriod. You may google to find this and may look for some help there.

@rachit: for your emulation Q.
I am not sure how to do it as I don't have a windows mobile phone but I am sure I have seen some posts.
here are some links.. hope u can find your way through. there is a program named haret which helps you to boot to Android. Just install Android in SD Card and then run Haret is what they say. But most of them have done it only on HTC Phones.. Good Luck!

Most of them have only done it on HTC phones because only two HTC phones - HD2 and Vogue have been the most stable and successful running android either on the SD card or NAND. A few other phones in the "Legacy" device family are able to run it but only on the SD and not NAND memory as stable as the two listed.

alright first of all don't be angry with my answer when you read it, its the Truth, we cant do much about it, unless there's a supa mega hacker who knows everything about huawei and has taken this thing apart 9000 times. this phone is only single cored phone at 528MHz with only 256MB of ram and only 512MB internal space ( around 150mb for the user to use.). the Specs on this phone are Terrible. im sure this was a great phone of its time and maybe still is to the people who have it, im not saying its not possible to put jelly bean onto this device (nobody would even think of putting android 4.3 onto this...) its just no one will want to take the time to get it to this device . Firefox browser for android is compatible with android 2.2 which your phone has you should be able to get it onto your device. if you want to root your phone you can try this method Here its is compatible with most phones android 2.1-3.3, if it doesn't work i would Google it. if that method i showed you please Tell me so we can help others root theirs
Edit: did a quick search and firefox says it only works on phones with 384 MB of Ram sorry mate
you're help means a lot, thanks!! ...
I didn't get mad. Instead, I laughed like crazy!!
I guess I just need another phone.
Metropcs was bought out by T-Mobile and all metropcs phones will need to operate on the T-Mobile network by 2015.
Can you suggest a phone that will have the features of the new android and internal storage you suggested and be able to run on or be switched over to the T-Mobile signal when the time comes?
I used gingerbreak 1.2 on my phone and busy box to get Root. It works terrific!
Do you have a link for Firefox 5.0? It's old as hell but none of the newer version's will install.
I really appreciate Your help!! It's been VERY enlightening.

i wouldn't know any phones from metropc that would be able to get onto a t-mobile network. as for the firefox i would just search up firefox 5.0 apk.
search for Firefox 5.0 apk at ftp.mozilla.com and old version. com ...
I did manage to install several versions of Firefox and none of them either run or show up in the applications menu. I did install 7zip from the Google play store, which allowed me to login to play. Google. Com and install the newest version, but no luck.
I found the http://FTP.Mozilla.org site with all the old versions of Firefox from version 0.8 (2004) to version 23 for 2013
There is also a site old. Versions. Firefox. Com that I got the first Firefox version 5.0 from but I can't get it to run or create /etc/Firefox folders with Root Explorer.
Currently, I'm running Gingerbreak 1.2 and Busybox Pro with PDANET and Titanium Backup to freeze unused metropcs apps.
I'm sorry you dunno metropcs and their cdma system. That's perfectly okay.
Thank you very much for being here to help me!! - Your knowledge
is absolutely priceless my friend.

there is a way to get it working on your device just have to find the right one maybe a modified version.
a modified version of Firefox will work! ..
I started downloading Ubuntu and I'm still searching for a Firefox that will work on this. I actually found a premium Linux installer on Google play that installs Ubuntu and Debian from sourceforge.net.

sweet thinkin of getting ubuntu on one of my phones one of these days. maybe if i revive my galaxy s2, i heard they put it on that.
Ubuntu on android from Google Play Store
I got the complete Linux installer from Google play and got the Ubuntu 12 and debian small to go onto my phone right from sourceforge. Net.
The complete Linux installer has a direct link in their app so there's no guessing if your adding the right thing.
I've been thinking about my spam links and wondered if there was a clean version of gingerbreak 1.2.floating around.??
I'm thinking I need to reroot my phone, from scratch, eh??

You can find some on Android Development and Hacking forum. I use QtADB mostly though, because has versions for linux and Windows and it's a File Manager with support of adb. Take a look here:
http://qtadb.wordpress.com/
you can
search on google and get better result
What and get a bunch of YouTube video reviews! Read the answer above, that's what a helpful forum member does. That's the point of a dedicated topic forum, did you stop to think that i may have been googling and researching for weeks and get a bit nonplussed with all the conflicting opinions and techniques, that a dedicated Dev forum would be the place to seek advice?
Really if go google it is the best you can do, why even bother replying, your not talking to a schoolkid but a fellow member of the forum.

You guys do know that Windows requires an x86 CPU right? There are also firmware needs. Most Atom devices can not run Windows because of no firmware support.
I think best way to have Android and Winders on the same device is buy a Windows device and run Bluestacks or Andy or another Android emulation solution.
IF you can find it, there are some builds of x86 BOCHS / etc in apk format that will virtualize an x86 pc on android, but the last device I tried that on was my HTC One M7 and it took about ... 45 minutes minimum to boot up windows
Hey guys,
I got hands on a tablet Cube iWork 10 Ultimate, dual OS (windows 10 and android 5). I was wondering if it's possible to install a complete new OS on it, getting rid of the dual system because it's so slow. Or should I just throw it away ?
Thanks for letting me know !

Just like any other laptop, infact if you want you can install linux on it if you want. This tablet/pc has a uefi so you just boot into the windows/android installation image. I think you could probably install a newer android version on it

This tablet has Intel Atom x5-Z8300 chipset what can run x86_64-bit OS. Hence you could install & run BlissOS port for x86_64 machines.
