HELP New Bootloader für Acer A500

Hi there and first - sorry for my english....
i have a prob. - just wanted to get a custom rom on my a500, i hat to realized that is is not as easy as ist was before 4.0.3 to get a new bootloader on the a500.
i just trierd several ideas from forums - but nothing happend... i tried also Afterota but the same...
The bootloader that is just now on the a500 is : 0.03.12-ICS
Please - if anybody can help me... HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Hi and welcome. Vintage144 was correct. Please follow his link to the A500 forums. That is where we (A500/A501/PB G100W owners) help each other out. This area is less about specific devices, and more about Android in general.

If the phone has a removable battery, take it out and see if there is a label under the battery that shows the brand or model number. Perhaps you can Google that model number to find out more.

The phone doesn't seems to have removable battery

From a quick google search it seems like your phone is a Star V89. Here is a link check out if it looks like yours

Is there any type of branding anywhere on the phone that you could post. Also remember as this is a Chinese phone it is most likely that you wouldn't be able to find a stock rom.

I Rooted My Phone Thank To Who Hv Helped Me

[Q] For-Fun Q3-Main-V1.4

I have a 9 inch tablet that was soft bricked so l did some research. I found the firmware that was supposedly for it which was a file called Toxic Rover, used Phoenix Card but now nothing is on the screen when I power it on. So I understand that it couldn't have been the right firmware. When I search for the firmware using the script on the board For-Fun Q3-Main-V1.4 that's the only firmware I can find. Please Help me I humbly request? I have included pics thanx in advance.

Hello,
You will need to add me on skype so i can talk you through the steps as i understand you don't know much about adb or live suit so this is necessary, that tablet looks exactly like the one i fixed recently which took me awhile to track down the right ROM.

I want to be grateful for your work from Spain.
I have a rare tablet, with board For-Fun Q3-Main-V1.4 and touch zet6223wta, and thanks to you i could have recovered it. If i wanted to ask you if it is possible to modify the firmware, and to update android to a top version, for example, 4.2.2.
With some ap, the version 4.0.4., it remains obsolete.
I tried to do it, but, i have no idea

Ok. There's something that should you know. Keep always learning and learning, if it's hard to find something that you want, it's easy that you just search by Google. Beside that, i know u are been welcomed to XDA.
