The people with 1.85 stock OR scrolser's clean rom should have this bug. After about 2-4 min after locking screen, when connected to wifi, try sending yourself an email or a gtalk message from the computer. You should have NOTHING.. that is until you click on the screen. As soon as you click on the screen the mail or gtalk message will come in. When on mobile data, it is generally delayed about 1-15 minutes. Why is nobody else so annoyed of this? My ipad gets notifications from email, facebook, gtalk INSTANTLY doesn't skip a beat even if I havent touched the damn thing for a week.
I'm also getting this same exact problem, never had an issue on my atrix.

I don't experience that on CleanRom 3.0 using radio 1.88. Everything work just as it's suppose to when the screen is off.

Settings>Call>Clear voicemail notification
(another common thread that should be searched)
my sound stops working after i record a video and i cant playback the video....try taking a video and see if u have a problem playing it back

Wtf. The honeymoon looks like it could be about to end on this should-be-amazing handset.
Voice mail should be automatically cleared like every other phone out there ... Just like your text message once you view it that's all ... All these little problem are a little annoying ... I'll continue to play with it... Don't get me wrong I love this phone ... Again just a little annoyed. And thanks for the tip.

Have new text messages and new emails that don't show up as numbers on the SMS or mail app? Anyone have this issue?
I did have this issue. When it happened to me I was actively using the phone and didn't get the notification at all for some reason.
Is this the scenario that it happened for you? or was your screen locked?
I've had it happen multiple times since Saturday. Just checked and I had over 4 texts that i never was notified about.

I think that's what happened. Yesterday I got a text: no notification, no sound, no vibration, and no badge. Had no clue I had a text until this morning.

Your not going crazy bud. I think were all getting the same thing. I bet Facebook is going to release another update... just a matter of time.

Facebook is working fine for me here.
My FB app is 2 versions old and I'm having the same issues. On top of it, my pull to refresh just decided it doesnt want to work anymore.

Same problem here. I noticed it happening before this update but just not as much.
After I updated I started noticing the same thing (just text). I went to my settings and just reverted all the updates back and will wait until the Facebook app is fixed. Works better now, but chat won't load.
Mine did this the first day after updating, just tested it again and I'm not having any issues.

Facebook on the computer is all screwed up for me, not just my phone. Notifications aren't working, I can't see comments, etc... Doesn't matter if its the app, phone browser or computer browser. Not sure what is going on.
As the title says , some times it blinks and sometimes it does not. I have noticed it with text messages and emails. Has anyone else been experiencing this on 2.20 stock or any custom roms. Its very random , maybe one out of every 40 messages.

OK, I have wiped back to stock and reflashed the stock ruu and the problem remains , I have noticed that after about 20 minutes I wont get the first notification. No tone, vibration or led. the problem must be deep sleep related.

The first week was fine, than all the sudden every text I send is market as pending. So I can't tell if a text sends or but. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, I have no idea.
Though with this issue, I restarted my phone yesterday I realized my phone sent 4 people texts that I sent a week ago, just sent after I restarted.
What's the deal? How do I fix it?

I can tell you how i fixed my issue when something similar was happening to me. I had this issue on my previous phone as well so i figured after getting this phone and it continued it had to be something to do with my account setup. Some kind of glitch. So after getting fed up with Tech support I had my network account manager have all my features and account removed, then added back on like it was a new account. Then I did a factory reset and woila! My network signal is stronger than ever. Texts send instantly! Faster than I have ever seen them send! lol.
