Mind of Mac - Samsung Infuse 4G

I can't post in the dev section, but I wanted to share my experiences with Mind of Mac's rom. It has the best ICS theme I have ever seen for a GB rom. If you need BT and are looking for a cool ICS themed GB rom then give this a try. The email apk is hard to read due to the font colors.

I cant post in the dev section yet either. Hoping to change that really soon.
Mac's rom is unbelievable. There is a ton of work that went into it. Most everything is tweaked, modded or themed. Its a beautiful rom. And he says its only a beta... It seems like its more of a v4 or 5. Its that good. There are some minor kinks that im sure will be worked out soon. Other than that its near perfect
I cant wait to test v1.2!
Thanks mac!
Oh and battery life has been phenomenal with pretty heavy use.

BT or Wifi
Mind of Mac is working on this issue. It seems that, for most of us, either Wifi works consistently or BT works consistently. To change from Wifi to BT or vice versa, you need to reboot.
This is still a better solution than an ICS rom where BT is out of the question. I have unlimited data and not bad modem speeds, so I can get by without Wifi for the most part. I need a BT headset to help me fall asleep at night and not get strangled by a corded connection.

You can try re flashing from a fresh wipe, but BT and Wifi issues should be clearing up when BUILD 2 comes out hopefully in a few days.

Many have narrowed the BT toggle issue in our UCLB3 based roms down to the lidroid toggles. A reboot or taking out the lidroid toggles clears this as stock UCLB3 doesn't have this issue.

Just joined XDA a few weeks ago and just rooted my Infuse for the first time recently too. Couldn't have done it without all the help in the forums. Made it real easy. I have flashed a few different ROMs and just wanted to say thanks to Mac for the Mind of Mac ROM (best one I have used). I just flashed v 1.2 last night and it is awesome. Just wanted to say thanks again to all of the helpful people on this site!

Welcome aboard:laugh:
So far Mind of Mac has been the best GB ROM for me in performance and looks.

Dogg409, if bluetooth is the only thing keeping your on gb, it needn't any longer - entropy got it working (better than on gb, even!) on ics. It's in his latest build.

Is there a CM7 ROM for this phone?

I couldn't find one in upgrades, but I thought I read you could convert Vibrant ROMs to this?
Anyone know of a CM7 ROM for this device?
No cm7 as of yet.

When in doubt:

Well even an unofficial port would be nice, I mean the HD2 isn't listed there but we have fully functional CM7 roms for that device.
I also don't see any SGS device listed but can't we convert this ROM to the SGS4G?

I'll take a look, I don't own this phone but a friend has it running stock and told me he wanted a new phone and that this one was a POS, I told him the hardware is great but Samsung'd coding is just amazingly terrible, so I've been looking for a good ROM to flash for him, but since I don't have the phone was going to just rock CM7 since you can't go wrong.
Any suggestions on a stable/fast ROM? It will be hard to test these for daily use since I don't own the device.

To save yourself the hassle of looking all over this forum for tweaks and stuff, you should probably just stick to ICBINB.7.
Bionix Frost would require you to look for all those tweaks!
Both are just as good though, imo.

[Q] Which ROM to install on my wifes Infuse (NEED SOME HELP)

This is my first post on your site and I have to say what a site it is...this has to be one of the best D:
I’m looking to install a good ROM on my wife’s infuse and have found so many fantastic looking ones on XDA but unsure which one is the best ( I know its hard to say who’s is better than who's but could you guys/girls give me some recommendations? one that will at least help battery life and more flexibility on the phone I was thinking about [UNOFFICIAL] Compiled CM 7 for Infuse 4G [2.3.7] any suggestions / recommendations I would appreciate it. Thanks
try a few see what works best
I could do that but figured I could do a one shot and be done lol
I haven't personally tried it out since my phone's just now starting to get back from repair, but I hear dman's ZEUS is a fantastic ROM.

I am using it.
Flash ZEUS on to your wife's phone, and then sit back and relax.
For your Wife's phone? I'd recommend ZEUS...it's no hassle and once you get it running it should require minimum support.
CM7 is also very nice and has most of the AT&T bloatware removed.
I have had excellent battery life on both.
Thanks lads.. I will go with the ZEUS and see how that works out.
Zeus is a very good choice love it. But I've got a new spit in my heart for super cm7

[Q] g2x ice cream sandwich

I am a newbie to my G2x from Tmobile.
I do understand that LG has not released an update to upgrade to ice cream sandwich. Right?
So, how do I get Ice Cream Sandwich on my phone? I am computer savvy and can understand instructions if made easy to understand. I know its something about rooting my phone right?
Could someone send me instructions on how to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich?
Or is LG planning to upgrade G2x to Ice Cream Sandwich?
Help, please........

Yup just like our friend said check the dev section.
When you get there look for clockwork recovery, once you install that make a back up of your current rom and then you can install any rom of your choosing.
I never asked for help when I started so if I can do it you definitely can do it, pm or something if you got any other Q's.

The source drop has built in support for the 990 and 999 so once they get the compiles done its full HWA ICS so should solve all the issues in the hackfest roms given a week or two.
Wait until someone makes a port and proper fully working ROM for our phone, the hackfests are fun, but not for anyone who needs anything stable/daily.

Gathering opinions on galaxy s iii themed rom

So I have a cm9 rom I made for my own use and I have enjoyed it so much that I am thinking of releasing it for everyone else to use as well. It is a touchwiz 5 themed rom based on the cm9 unofficial release with the following goodies:
Speed and battery tweaks
Touchwiz 5 launcher
Touchwiz theme
Touchwiz widgets
S-Voice app
Google Now
All sgs3 system media
Sgs3 wallpapers
Xloud and beats mod
And much more that I probably forgot about........
As it states I am just wanting to see who would be interested in it as I dont want it to be a wasted effort. Also you guys are more then welcone to let me know what else you would like included or changed. Thanks in advanced for the support and im looking forward to see your guys opinions.

I think the allshare app is just like wifi calling it is heavily dependant upon proprietary Samsung things that are built into the stock kernel and stock rom. Not saying its impossible but highly unlikely it will work on a custom rom that is not stock based.

I didn't find SVoice that usefull for the amount of space it takes up and uninstalled it on Remics.
If you're good with the Aroma installed, you can setup a customized install to choose what to install or not install. I like the ones that let you keep your kernel, modem, etc.
