About this ROM:
My ROM is designed for the users, who like me enjoys the "Sense" UI and enjoys the stock rom or wants a stock base to work off of. This ROM is tweaked to add some features that come in custom ROMS and keeps it simple for those of us that do not need all of the amazing eye candy, also for those who does not like all of the added crap that come shipped in most carrier ROMs, this rom is customizable because you can remove most of the apps that is NOT attached to Sense or Android and that will NOT break system components. The design of the ROM is to be a big improvement over the stock experience.

Warning:
1. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PHONE "Rooted" TO USE THIS Image.
2. This Image will wipe your data however a data wipe is always recommended before you flash any ROM.
READ ME: This ROM is designed to be fully functional meaning that everything works with no workarounds. The design of this ROM is "traditionally stock-like" and "as is" please do not ask about adding or removing a feature or program, if you enjoy this ROM and want to use it as a base for your ROM by all means do so but please give credit where credit is due .........

went back to a more simpler ROM format
removed netarchy's kernel and added my own modified stock kernel
removed the mms fix (I just want to insure that everthing works like its supposed to)
removed the usb tether fix (it was slow and limited compared to using pda net)
removed the 4-in-1 reboot menu (I want everything to be stock)
added the ability to change the bootanimation by just replacing the bootanimation.zip found in data/local
all kinds of other under-the-hood **** if you like the other stock like ROMS you'll love this ****

Every one of the apps you listed in #1 can be and have always been able to be removed without breakin sense... always.
You said any app can be removed without breaking others... i can bet you differently. Sense is sense... there are things you just cant remove
Any odex or deodex rom and using root explorer can just delete those apps and a ton more.
My advise is to make a barebones one.
Right now, if i read your post correctly... everything is still there.. so what makes it ... what ever your calling it.

And i dont see how this rom is any different from a stock rom other than you included apps on the sd card we can install...

the stock rom for this phone unlike many was very good not very bloated and functional the only thing I was doing was sharing my stock experience with the community but on the technical aspects my rom is different from the stock because it has many tweaks to it for even more functionality. I mean I'm just trying to figure out what kind of a chair you are sitting on claiming your facts ? anyway if you use any rom beside a open source rom, sense is integrated so deeply into the android core os that removing part of it most certainly breaks something in settings or a system dependant component. for example use a rom that has sense removed and go to your settings in the personalize section and see how many you can get it to force close? With my rom nothing is broke everything works plus .... say if you use this rom install some apps from your sd that you have .... and you decide to use another rom then reflash this one the apps you installed will be there already re-installed ... I dont believe the stock rom does that. So instead of trying to inpose your opinionated facts to me why don't you do us all a favor and read, if you don't like what you see then move on.

Its more devs didn't want to take out ciq from leaks cuz its so time consuming and then there's another leak 2 weeks later... it was don on ee03 it think.

Do a stock theme first (probably easier that way)
Just add the tweaks and mods first while keeping the regular look (w/ overscroll and off animation though) so then you can add the themed version later.
That way people will have the option to flash a slimmed down version of EH17 with the freedom of adding their own themes or tweaks to it.
Just a suggestion (I like stock, lol. Would be great to see a ROM that's stock but with mods and tweaks and no bloatware all in one ROM)

Haha xD. It's true! It'd be awesome if someone just made a ROM (using Odin or cwm) that had all the tweaks and mods along with the overscroll and off animation and bloatware removed. Those are the first things you do with a new leak/software anyway .

Simply AOSP 4.0
NOT SO STANDARD DISCLAIMER:
I, nor any of the ERA team is (are?) responsible for bricked phones, damaged SD cards, bad flashes, hurt feelings, crying, sleepless nights, restless leg syndrome, constipation, Cher, or any of the other various things you may encounter by installing custom firmware on your phone. Reboot into recovery, wipe everything 3 times, select ROM. Those are your instructions. Anything you do outside of that is on you.
Changelog:
Completely new base ROM used. Ecooce's as-of-yet unreleased Frankenstein v.4 was used as the base for this version. Ecooce provided a very stable, very small ROM that works perfectly with the Simply AOSP we've come to know and love.

HUGE, HUGE thanks to pvtjoker42. He has been instrumental in getting this release out as apparently my internet service provider forgot the "provider" part and I've had no way to upload this. Also his persistence and reliability in testing this ROM have been invaluable. Find him and thank him.
This is EC05 based
The lockscreen mod is NOT built into this ROM. A tough decision to make considering it is one of my very favorite mods, but in the end it detracted from the AOSP feel of the ROM.
After to speaking with TheDub who was kind enough to let me update his ROM, he has suggested not including other themes with the Simply Settings app. While there are many great themes out there, I have chosen to respect his wishes.
You will find the standard Froyo, Touchwiz, and Gingerbread themes included.
This ROM is small; about 117 MB actually. That was one of my goals because if you're anything like me I download a LOT of ROMs directly to my phone. That being said, there aren't a lot of apps included in there. Please make sure you have good, recent backups of anything you may want.
With all of that being said, please download and enjoy! I will be checking this thread OFTEN so please come back and let me know what you think. We have done a lot of testing with this and haven't found any ROM-related problems (personal note, don't try and load 137 apps all at once. It slows things down. Yep, that was me...)

This is based off of Froyo. I try and leave all of the leaks to ksmullins and I kinda fool with all of our EC05 Roms. Until GB drops, that is, and I'm out of a job!
The hotspot and volume hacks are included but the lockscreen isn't. In order to add it (and I haven't tested this theory) I would think it best to use an AIO Mod rather than just the lockscreen mod as they seem to modify some of the same files and I'm not sure if everything would be functional afterwards.
Also, JohnCorleone and a couple of others had tested with various EC05 themes and found no problems. I would venture to say that 'most' EC05 themes should work just fine.

As long as you are on the most current CWM and wipe everything 3 times you should be fine. I've personally flashed between GB and Froyo countless times without any problems.
Anyone willing to provide some "sexy screenshots" of this ROM?

I have fixed all these bugs, you DO NOT need to flash these if your on the latest build. However if you are on an older build and have any of these issues just flash these in recovery and bugs will be smashed...

Download link says owner is low on resourses . Also what aftermarket kerbal can we use ? A sense base oc ? Or aokp/cm base kernel ? Ohh and do you have any 4.2 apps installed on this ? I'm a 4.2 desk clock And keyboard kinda guy

None of that stuff yet..Just basic stuff...Look for the 4.2 stuff in build 2...I dont think there is any custom kernels for ville 4.1 yet...

you are a god .the swype and prediction is like no other on the 4.2 keyboard .every rom i flash i try to port over both and somehow the keyboard would have to be installed every reboot for some reason .i tried to make myself some ports kang style but i totally failed everytime so now im just a regular ol flasher :silly:
Is Hboot update after flashing this rom?

few bugs i had ..any solution might help
1) once USB connected when i remove the icon is still there
2) if i delete any apps using root explorer after a restart all the apps is back
3) twitter accounts and sync gives me FC even after clearing everything and reinstalling
Would like to have is having the restart to revocery , bootloader options in the power menu selections
otherwise the ROM works like charm and awesome battery life

I'm hoping to find a few ppl that are still running stock ICS. I recently flashed numa, which I love the rom but there are a couple of things of like back the way they were. I liked the stock email client, the stock swype keyboard, and last but not least i like the gallery app from stock cause it had that built in editor. If anyone could help me out with these apps I would be indebted to you.

Just FYI, that will probably not work as NUMA is a deodexed ROM and the apps you're requesting are odexed. Of course, depending on how badly you want them, there are many ways and threads/tutorials on how to deodex that you could check out.

I've been running stock for a long time, and I found the Xposed framework which lets you add modules and tweak your phone like mad, you just have to have some modules. The cool thing is it runs the background on stock ICS, and if there is a problem all you have to do is disable the framework, no having to flash backups and whatnot. I've been working on a theme for stock ICS to get that CM10 style theming going on, and it's coming along pretty nicely. It uses the Xtheme module to do the work. I'll post some links and maybe you all might find some other things that you like and all that.
