You also have to get a two year contract for the Tab too.
So that would be two total contracts to sign.

Oh, okay, I didn't realize they were doing it that way as well. $630 is pretty steep though even with a free phone. I don't know why carriers think tablets and laptops should cost so much just because it has a cell radio in it. How much does it cost (manufacturing wise) to put one of those in anyways?

also lots of Apps/Games are not ICS4 compatible

I'd take the S2. The much less-outdated S2's GPU, the Gorilla glass and the most important part, the fact that it takes SD cards wins it over for me.

Dumb question, are the cases for each phone the same or do they have to be specific for the 3G version and for the 4G version? I just ordered a Nexus 4G S online, thanks.

Most are slightly different, although a few do work. There are several threads in the accessory forum. I have used the silke case by SGP since my NS4g was new.
Power button is slightly off from the GSM to cdma version but almost all cases work just fine even the tight snap on covers.
Cases made exclusively for the 4g or i9023 may fit loose on, the i9020. From my personal experience.

Sell your S3 on eBay, buy a Note 2 paying the difference out of pocket (maybe $200 or so). I know several people that have sold theirs for 500.
Not sure if we can name drop but swappa is good. I have used them.

I am actually about to sell my S3 to somebody on craigslist for 400$ then with that money I am going to go pick up a note 2 at full retail. We are meeting at a verizon store so we can both activate phones at the same time..

No lol I was laughing when I found out! I'm so stupid though... I just bought a nexus 10 on the 1st day it came out and should have sold s3 and just bought a note 2 outright... Any way to get a replacement note 2 for s3?

Probably not since there are millions of S3s that were made. Unless the people make a mistake and package the wrong phone on accident, chances are you won't be able to switch your S3 for a Note 2.

You guys fail to be within his $200 budget for a used phone.
I suggest an AT&T Samsung galaxy s2 or a samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket. You should be able to get one on that budget. I got my skyrocket for $170 on new condition few months ago.

And the skyrocket you musta been lucky cuz the cheapest I found was 250 and the s2 I don't like cuz of the processor the atrix hd is the idea of what I want so I'm guessing I'm going with it cuz the phones yall listed are not in my budget thx though

Oh and I forgot to add that I will be rooting and flashing roms and I checked out the atrix hd on here doesn't really seem like something worth rooting I want something that will be developed on alot like the nexus 7 tablet is use to have but I may be asking too much but thanks

If you're due for an upgrade, the Galaxy Note II refurbed was available for $199.99 very recently.

I still just have the original Note and over a year later I'm still pretty happy. I do occasionally start jonesing for the note 2, but not sure about the life of a refurb, I think it only saves about about $50, but with the S4 out I expect a new note 2 to drop in price soon. BTW, I haven't touched my laptop in a couple of months, I live out where the bear does his business and this is the way I get internet. No cable or DSL is within 20 miles of me... I had satellite but its more expensive and slower.

I'm with metropcs right now I can't afford a contract I'm switching to straight talk that's why I need a at&t phone I would get a tmobile cuz of faster data speed but not many tmobile towers here

Have you considered looking into something from Pantech? The Pantech Burst, used, would save you about $100 from your $200 budget and is a very nice phone for the money. It also has a mostly-working CM10.
You could also look into newer phones like the Pantech Discover, In general, it's a good brand for the value-conscious.
Ok I decided to go with tmobile instead I'm thinking about getting the galaxy s blaze if I buy the $50 unlimited talk text 100 mb 4g speed and I run up the 4g will I have the hspa+ speed?
