I'm looking for an app that would allow me to sync profile pictures from facebook, and just profile pictures, with the pre-existing contacts in my phone. If anyone knows of such a thing, that would be awesome to know. Thanks in advance.

I'm using Facebook Contact Sync. You can choose to sync pics up to 512x512 pixels, so it looks nice
(After setup, go to the sync settings in the phone settings and sync it from there)

I have Facebook for Sense setup in the Accounts & Sync settings so that I could get the contacts to sync with the corresponding facebook profiles.
That worked perfectly. All is well there.
The weird thing is that when I go into phone, where it lists all of the contacts above the keypad, ALL of my facebook "friends" are listed even if I don't actually have them entered in my contacts.
So, contacts = just my contacts linked with facebook, but phone-app list = all of my contacts + all of my facebook "friends".
Is there a way to make this NOT happen? I only want my actual contacts (from google) to sync with facebook. I don't want all of my facebook "friends" to load to the phone.
I agree, this facebook sync is a good idea but needs more options.
froyo has more settings for things like this, you can select "don't sync", "sync only with contacts i have on my phone" or "sync all facebook friends", something to those effects anyways.
so wait for the OS to come, or root and flash a rom.
Has anyone found a way to sync contacts's pictures and birthdays from facebook like we used to do on the htc contacts tab ? The roms i was using on my HD2, had the option to link a contact with its facebook profile, and automatically update pictures and stuff.

install full screen called ID. it has a sync facebook option. that's how i've done it.
Download the Facebook app and set it to sync contacts. Most of them should be joined automatically to your existing contacts where the names are the same, and you can manually join the rest from the menu when you're editing a contact.
Pro tip: join from the entry you want to take precedence for name display purposes.

But what if i install another rom ? Do i have to do that again or i will have the photos as soon as i sync my fb and my gmail ?

login to your FB account from the app u downloaded. Go into the options menu and sync FB contacts.
Is there a way for facebook to sync ALL of my existing contacts because the Facebook app only syncs one or two contacts with the picture and email, and extended contact info. This would help sooo much.

I used syncmypix and the **** still doesn't fix the blurry facebook photos that I have. Wtf do I have to do to fix this problem that's plagued all of android?
It's pretty much been a known issue since Android came into existence. Those crappy blurry pictures aren't because of your Android, but Google. You set up your Google account and it's set to sync your contacts. For whatever reason, Google has decided to rescale your pictures.
No matter what apps you use to sync your pictures e.g. syncmypix etc, when comes to your phone syncing with Google, it's gonna pull down those blurry pictures again.
In short: Go to Settings>Accounts & Sync>Google and uncheck Contacts. Then you can set any picture manually/use your pic syncing app.
Sync your contacts with "Facebook For HTC Sense" not "Facebook"
FB for HTC Sense is also blurry, was fixed with the Desire but it's broken again
Apparently pics are blurry using exchange too, if you add the images to the contacts in outlook.
The solution with that is to add the images to the contact on the phone, it then saves it with the contact in outlook so should you move phones it still uses the unmodified image.
Wondering if that info's of any use.
what's the easiest way to sync all my photos to my gmail account? I have dropbox instant upload, and also set syncing turned on, but the way I want it is so that whenever I sign into a new device all my pictures are available for viewing right from the gallery app (similar to how all my contacts are in the contacts app and music in the music app), and not having to view it in the google+/dropbox app.
