The HTC One X and Galaxy S III also has the Fast Burst function, pressing the shutter button, high-speed continuous shooting. Other old phone, built-in camera App do not have this feature.
However, this new the Fast the Burst Camera "the App, you can think that the old phone to bring high-speed continuous shooting, the fastest is more than one second in 30.
One seconds 30 copies
"Fast Burst Camera" high speed of up to one second of 30 ultra-high speed. Even if some low-level device, and can reach 5-10 photos in one second! Pressing the button will immediately take pictures, Zero Lag, the App constantly shooting. Google Play Store webpage link:

[Q] [App Request] Loop recording camera app

Hi, I am trying to find a video camera app with a particular function. The idea is that the camera records in a loop of, say, 30 seconds (that is jut an example), constantly overwriting the beginning to make sure there is always 30 seconds of continuous footage recorded. Then, when you press a button, it saves everything from, say, 10 seconds before the button was pushed to 20 seconds after to a file. Then it starts recording again.
The advantage of this approach is that it lets you capture action more easily, for example sporting events, lightning strikes, birds catching fish, a baby doing something cute, etc. For events that are expected, but too quick and unpredictable to prepare for, human reflexes are too slow (and the phone is often slower), meaning that by the time you hit the button to start recording the event is already over. On the other hand, this approach takes much less storage space and less postprocessing than just recording continuously for minutes or hours.
If you have watched BBC's Planet Earth, it is the same principle used to get the shark attack videos (although that was also a higher-speed camera). I also had a camcorder with a similar function built-in. However, I have not been able to find such an app, either on google play or by searching the forums here. Does anyone know if such an app exists, or if there is an camera app that has this feature?

Not sure if I'm getting the right idea, but wouldn't this drain battery life?

Probably, although how much depends on whether the looped video is short enough to keep in memory. But it wouldn't take any more battery than recording a continuous video, which is the only way to record these sorts of events without this feature.

The iPhone-Camera-Application sucks but has it's own upsides and advantages.

Hello.
In my opinion, the Apple iPhone Camera Application is the worst camera application with the lowest value that a flagship has.
But there are also very great advantages of the camera-app, that i'm also going to mention here.
Advantages:
Very quick Startup
Zero shutter lag and delay. ﴾Even if you press the shutter buttons five or six times in a second (with HDR-Mode OFF), the Applephone will always react and take a photo﴿
Infinity Burstshot (until Battery runs out or Memory is full)
Slow-Motion-Videos are being Recorded in the correct way. Read more about this here: http://forums.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2998500
Automatical HDR
HDR-Panorama (Only iPhone 6 and higher)
Very easy to Use - Neat and clearly overseeable Graphical User Interface - GUI
Video Recording Time: HH:MM:SS instead of MM:SS (HH:MM:SS looks more professional)
You're able to use the zoom and change exposure and focus settings during a burstshot.
You're able to lock AF/AE while recording a Video (like M9)
Disadvantages:
Almost no features and setting possibilities
The shutter button is so tiny that it is even smaller than the S5 Shutter Button‼ (it will be harder to strike the button in a fleeting moment. You will possibly miss the button with your finger. If Apple won't change the UI, they'll have to put a physical shutter key on their phones.)
You have to switch between photo mode and the video mode. (You can't access both at the same time)
Shutter Button looks pretty boring. (Good Shutter Buttons: S3,S4, Note 2+3, Xperia S, V, Z, Z1, Z2, Z3)
The User Interface sucks and has almost no value
Screen Blackout if you press the photo shutter button (this will make it harder to take photos sthealthy and sneaky)
Burstshot counter stops at 999 (but it's good, that there is an unlimited burstshot at least. The Note 5 is limited to 30 Shots in Row.)
Square Mode is completely superflous, because it will just cut off the edges. 2448² Pixels instead of 3264 times 2448.
Since XDA does not support the iPhone or iOS, for that matter, perhaps this thread is better suited to a site that DOES support them.

More than 10 seconds long exposure

Anyway to take a photo with more than 10 seconds exposure? tweaking the stock camera or using other app... i tried an older version of camera fv-5 with 20 seconds long exposure but it only allows 2.1 MP (1920x1080) but the latest version limits that long exposure to only 10 seconds with full resolution (12MP - 4032x3024).
Regards!
I don´t even know how to do 10s :/

Only available in pro mode.
i would love to see if someone can port one of the LG flagship's camera app like G4, V10 or G5
Would interesst me too, would be Great to capture the night Sky! I already hat good results when stacking the Images, but more time with lower iso would be Great to have.
I tried 10 second+ exposures with my Note 7 before I sent it back. They didn't turn out great. I was camping and it was super dark.
I used a tripod and a phone mount and used a Long Exposure app from the play store to get longer than 10 seconds. And pro mode with the stock app for a 10 second exposure.
10 Seconds would be cool in a city to capture moving traffic but it's not long enough to capture the sky. Long than 10 seconds creates so much noise the photo isn't usable.

if i recall correctly, the long exposure apps from the app store lock the resolution at 1080p and so the noise may be more pronounced. It would definitely be interested in seeing an update to push pass 10 seconds for more options.

Time to take picture (camera launch speed)

There! Something just happened! Did you take a picture of it? Rate this thread to express how fast the Honor 9 can go from "zero to picture". A higher rating indicates that launching the camera app and taking a photo is extremely fast such that you never miss an important moment, like when your cat attacks the couch again.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Lghtning speed right here. But a little blurry.
The default camera app is pretty quick to launch.
You can even set up the camera app to launch after you press two times in a row the lower volume button. Optional this can also be set to directly trigger a snapshot -> I tested this and took around 1 second for opening app + focus + snapshot. I would rate that as very fast

I use this feature most of the time.
The speed is pretty good, the camera opens quickly and the pictures are quickly satisfied.
Burst mode only takes 1.3s to open
Sent from my Huawei Honor 9 using XDA Labs
You can launch very quickly and immediately start taking burst photos.

When launching from the power button double click , it takes around 1 second to have the camera app open and working. Could be faster, but it suits my needs and I often take random spontaneous pictures of my cat

Settings>Advanced Features>Quick Camera Launch.
How fast is focusing speed and shutter lag, specially in less optimal lighting like indoor share? If subject is moving constantly is there can you still get good shot relatively easy or is it hopeless?
