[Resolved] Q. Android to take over the world?

Rumor has it that Q4 and 2012 have some major mind blowing things from android. Everywhere you will see android, anybody heard of this?

Wouldn't doubt it. Android is doing so good right now. To think it all started with one phone the HTC g1 and has expanded ever since

I just wish that phone companies will distribute rooted phones. Or involve the community more.

Yes, I heard something like that too........ But we will just have to wait and see....
It might all depend on what new offerings and features the iPhone will have at that time.......

Inspire vs motorola atrix

I got an upgrade from att i used to have a samsung captivate and got an inspire but i heard that the atrix its a better phone should i exchance it or should i keep the inspire

Inspire =recovery and customization. Atrix= root, but stuck with locked and signed bootloader. So if you don't plan to root your inspire, and load Roms. Then go for atrix. If u do plan to play with your device, then keep inspire. Oh plus motoblur just simply is horrid. That alone kept me away.IMO

I agree with mattmiller. I've heard a lot of negative feedback on the atrix. Check out atrix vs. Inspire videos on YouTube to see what you prefer.

aparently not
You are wanting to trade a 4G phone (Thunderbolt) for a 3G phone (Incredible)? If that's the case, it would be a horrible idea.
Or... you can sell your tbolt for $300-350usd, then buy an incredible for $250 with all the bells and whistles used and have some extra cash over....
thanks for the feed back guys how bout for a droid global lol

Just so you know you can probably sell the TB for around 4 to 500 and you can easily buy the inc2 or the droid3 for that amount.

Don't trade for any phone that hasn't been recently released. Because it's a rip off on your part. Definitely don't trade your 4g phone for a 3g phone either. What exactly is your reason for wanting to trade off the thunderbolt?
Also Droid Globals suck I had 3 of them.
Only if you hate yourself. A spec comparison should clear this right up.

Is it even an intelligent question ??

ill trade you a droid2 (not global) for it! ill throw in the droid1 for ****s and giggles.
Trade for either a Droid Charge or an LG Revolution.
If you REALLY don't care about 4G, then you could go for a DX2 or a Droid 3 (both have duel core processors)
I personally love the Thunderbolt. Just takes a bit of tweaking to get the battery life acceptable.

Android Trouble Help Please

So I have accidentally fallen off of my skateboard and cracked my Inspire's screen, so now I need to choose. Should I get another Inspire, Thunderbolt, Infuse, or something else? It needs to be under 100 dollars. Any suggestions? And it has to be on AT&T. With my new upgrade xD.
Thunderbolt is verizon only. And it is not what we think, but what you think.

If you can wait til the 2nd I would get the gs2 but again that's just me
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
How much will the GS2 cost?
And so I guess it's between the Infuse and Atrix and Inspire. xD
and the Thrill.
Well which one should I go with xD? I was leaning towards the Inspire since it has MIUI.
The gs2 will be $199 and i think they are working on miui for it but no could be wrong

So I finally got my phone, I got an LG Thrill. But I don't know what to do? Should I keep it and hope for rom updates after 2.3.3 comes OTA or should I just get an Inspire and install my favorite rom MIUI?
I'd still take an inspire over something like the thrill

May I ask why?

I think this phone will be just as good. I love it so far.
