So is my device the only one that the adb doesn't start until the capacitive buttons turn on? Cause mine isn't starting at boot animation.

When I hit reboot system in recovery:
My comp will "ding" telling me phone disconnected confirm with adb devices not seeing any
Then it will ding again telling me phone connected as bootanimation plays, confirm with adb devices seeing my phone.

But can you logcat before the capacitive buttons show? Thats my problem. I've ported Fireball ruus, Ville ruus, jewel ruus, but only by a blind port. Without a proper logcat, I can't do any major porting

I've had the same issue. Mine doesn't start logcat output until after all the 'Android is upgrading x of x' stuff is complete after a dalvik wipe. Very frustrating.

Will do, as soon as i find the apps from them. I'll post the results.
If you are just drag and drop porting the apps don't you need to do a little resizing?

If you're on at&t one x, nothing.
You have to change the cid to get an unlock code from htcdev

Is it possible to use temp root to do something different from replacing the CID?
I am interested in the technicalities of the exploit. I cannot post in the dev forum (newbie)
Do you work for att or HTC sounds it

Nope. I was just trying to understand if I can use the exploit to simply delete a bunch of **** from the phone without "tampering" it.
No. You can't.

First things first...questions don't belong in the development section. All questions (including this one) belong in the Q&A section only.

As hilarious as this post is, there are people out there that have no idea what this ROM would do to the ATT one x.
So to the OP...... Always research Roms before you flash

Not sure why this thread is here. The One X+ has nothing to do with this device fora. Flashing any ROM other than what is supported here will brick your device.
