Hi guys, today i noticed really something out of box, i got my ATT One X from ATT store the day it was launched. But now when i tried to insert Tmobile Sim card, it does work with that too. Than i tried to put other sim card from India, and to my surprise that was even working right. SO it seems ATT has given me factory unlocked device.

I took my origial one x back, the replacement they gave me was what appeared to be factory sealed ... Buuuuuut, when I checked the internal card i to my great surprise there was a couple apps , on there lol ... Pink pad , and some ovulation calculator so yeah AT&T can be sneaky...

They most certainly do. I had a Galaxy Note with an issue, and exchanged it at a corporate store. When I powered it up, there were text messages from the previous owner, and some rather tasty porn pictures in the gallery So yeah, AT&T will pull a sneaky move and give you a returned device.

It's illegal in the US, they HAVE to sell it as a "refurbished" phone, there would be refub written on the packaging and you'd easily tell.

Same here, the wife dropped it last night while getting out of my car. Cracked on bottom left and the vibrate motor sounds loose. Still works fine though. Replacement will be on the way tomorrow.

Others here have posted that removing the glass by itself is nearly (if not) impossible.

My screen broke from a fall recently and the phone insurance company I got charged me a deductible of only $125 for a new phone.
Of course they didn't have it in stock so I have to wait a bit longer for a replacement.

On the former, yes. As to the latter, that comes out a bit wrong. The devs would port the app, and Verizon would patch it. This started out taking a week, then it was cut down to a few days, and then it was almost daily. It became too much work to try to keep up with them. In a sense, I guess they did "give up", but they sure worked their butts off well before that point.

Yea, I was the one who spearheaded the thread for the nfl mobile crack a few years back but unfortunately there's no working solution now unless you're on Verizon.

Telus offers the black One X, I assume it's the same phone and that the same tricks, tips, techniques, tools, and ROMs apply to it as the AT&T, Telstra, and Rogers versions?

Agree, it looks so much sharper then the white. The only phone I like better in white is the iPhone. The S3 to me looks nicer in Blue.
