Have you even started trying to port this? Without starting the project yourself it seems you are just asking someone to do the work for you... If you want lockscreens then just get a lockscreen replacement from the play store.
I'm actually asking for someone to help me get started. I'll do the rest after.

There are many porting guides out there, I can't search for them at the moment though... I'm sure a quick search would get you started though!

Ok so 1 of the main features of 2.1 is ofcourse the n1 live wallpapers. We currently only have 2(not including the 5 you can get off the market) im hoping we can look together as a community to find out why the other nexus ones arent working. If not make our own. Any suggestions to get this ball rolling?

All I could find was the rom. Ok what exactly did you put into the search box? Did you say any magic words? Did you pry to the gods of XDA?
I thought I was the only one who had bad luck with the search feature lol. I'd go into development and type in "Fresh 3.2" or "Virus" and would get nothing when the two threads for the Rom are sitting at the top.
Anyway I'll keep looking but if someone could post a link to the zip to flash it would be appreciated.
Found it, Magic words were "OTA Dodexed 2.3.some other numbers.29... and it's the 89th point down. So go to this thread and download it.... NEUBS

Better start reading up on GSI and how to handle them first. No one might be able to elaborate on the pros, cons, and problems at hand in full depth for sure. Would take days to get those things explained to someone who's new. Modding in the end still is based on the willingness of a thorough self study about new ways and there basics, of those who want to use and try those ways out.
If you read up on it, and got some more context, it would be possible to helping there are specific questions on the details. But it ain't possible to explain everything, due to the massive changes.

Sorry for the delay here but I am a bit busy with other things here and actually I have not managed to get this working yet. The flashing process is always faling on different things.

I think porting rom for this device is not so easy because of AB slots & many different permissions
