Release Notes:
This rom is android 2.2 and uses mik 4.5 as a base.
currently everything is functioning
The theme is made from many of my own custom images as well as some images
ported from other themes and roms.
Every custom icon has been optimized and the whole rom has been zipaligned
using kitchen.
I do not claim to or will consider myself a super DEV I am just trying to create a stable rom that people can enjoy looking at.

1. Download the Rom
2. Place Rom on Root of SD Card
3. Please perform Nandroid Backup
4. Wipe data/factory reset
5. Wipe cache partition
6. Wipe dalvik cache
7. Flash the Rom

To install:
I recommend full wipe user data, cahce and dalvik then flash rom.
I have been running nets 4.3.1. no havs, sbc cfs and its like butter.
Comes with htc kernel
grab a bannner and place it in your sig.

Sorry if I come across as an ass but I got a couple of questions that I wish could have been answered in the first page. What all does this rom have included? Did you take anything out like other devs do? Does everything work like GPS, 4G and all the other features?

Everything works and I kept the apps down to a minimum so there would be less issues with apps. I do not have hdmi cable for testing.

What's with the clown logo? That's not a Misfits logo. If this is the Misfits ROM, it should have more Misfits imagery. You should have made the background a Crimson Ghostdroid or a Misfits album cover, or replaced the gray android contact pics with the Crimson Ghost or just give the Android head a devilock.
You should incorporate the number 138 somehow, or Halloween. As long as you don't acknowledge anything from the post-Danzig era, it should be golden.
Or the background could be Marilyn Monroe from her last movie. That would be easy to look at and still Misfits-related.
I don't know. I shouldn't be so critical. I don't even like Sense. I just saw "Misfits ROM" with a Crimson Ghost avatar next to it, and I got my hopes up. I just think that there's a lot of Misfits potential that isn't quite being realized. Whatever, though; it's your ROM. Make it however you want. I just wanted to give my opinion as a Misfits fan. Good luck with your ROM.

Hi Guys alright this is another missed me rom except this one is not stock and it is very fast and it has no lag. This based on Tmartins gingersense 4.12 rom that is the base used in this rom.
I am only 14 years old so bare with me on updates and things like that. And any new roms i am making will take a while before i release them so bare with me on that to.

Yeah, very familiar. I like how you added the gb batt icon and overscroll. Dont see the point in all the stock roms floating around lately.

Not here to flame at all.. I see some major differences in yours and evokings rom but.. The only question I have.. and you say he helps you out alot.. Where is the thanks to him? I would think at least on this rom that his name would be first in the list of Kudos. I've been enjoying his work for many months now and I knew the second I saw the title it had to have something to do with his rom "out of this world' but no thanks (unless his name tmartin.. ) lol . Anyways.. Nice looking rom. I like the changes you've made. I've just at times felt I could do what your doing.. Taking little pieces of stuff and meshing them together to make your own custom rom. Yet I haven't and you have and for that great job And for your age that's amazing considering most kids are just playing video games and being lazy.

Hey guys i recently purchased a skyrocket and I do indeed plan on rooting it. I have a few questions about the phone though. Is there any special apps just for the skyrocket. Also what cool things can I do without a root? Im comming from and iPhone 4s so please excuse me if the questions sound a little silly.

define "cool things"....different for a lot of people.
you don't need root to make your phone look cool. There are tons of apps that can change the look of your phone without ever needing root.

The wallpaper is one of my own....I have a thread in Themes where I post all my Custom wallpapers.
There are literally thousands of ways to make your phone unique..

If all you want is to change the LOOK of your phone.....then theres no need to root.
do what the Man ( Mortem ) above said and check out those apps.

There really isn't anything good that can come from rooting you're skyrocket. All the roms for it are very unstable. The only things you could add are maybe battery percentage meters at the status bar and a few very minor mods but the phone is to new you wont really enjoy anything from rooting it.

Well rooting for me is always a given... as i like certain fonts, and adblock... but atm stock rooted on my skyrocket has been a wonderful exp.. where as prev phones stock roms have most always sucked.. Plus if I feel the need to theme or change etc I have my atrix to toy with.. the skyrocket is my work/daily driver,

THIS WHOLE STATEMENT IS BS...........
there ARE stable Roms for our phone, there is an unstable Kernel that may require patches to run right. but you can always run the stock/stockish kernels. Red Sonja is my Daily and is VERRRY stable for a beta. the Rockateer Rom is also stable along with TCPs and Quickwiz. maybe i dont know your idea of stable.
the CM7 rom has bugs and is unstable....but even that RUNS stable if you set it up RIGHT<<<< right being the key here.
anyway, that **** rubs me the wrong way.....

I don't agree with the tone, but I do agree that there are many stable roms. Do you're homework before rooting or using a custom Rom and you'll be happy. The cm10's are faster, smoother, and better battery life than ics. The other jb roms are just as good. Just make sure you get a rom that is specific to your device or you will create a brick. All Sll's are not the same.

Regardless, reading this did take me back. My first skyrocket ROM was made by PirateGhost. Red Sonja was queen of the skyrocket back then. And now Doc's back after a long hiatus with AoCP. And Mortem used to provide some great theme work. Now that's the skyrocket forum I miss. When the biggest issue was getting vibration to work on Red Sonja. Not the countless number of repeat questions and the lack of search skills.

[ROM][EL30][MTD] The People's ROM v1.0

BASED ON MARCUSANT V4 Beta
First off a huge thanks to Marcusant. He is so busy with ICS based stuff and school he did not have time to finish his V4. This is basically his V4 ROM which I made work, themed then did a system dump and got it to flash. Marcus was awesome enough to tell me to go ahead and release it. This is my first attempt at a ROM and it is a big step from themes. So go easy on me...thanks.
Since basically everyone in the Epic community has contributed to this in one way or another, I decided on the People's ROM.
Big thanks to Orlzzt for pointing me in the right direction on how to pull my system and for testing this for me
And a big thanks to Naddict for testing this as well...especially since his phone called him names and slapped him when he tried to install ADW on this. He has done the most extensive testing of this ROM.
This is an EL30 ROM for MTD (you must be on MTD). Shadowkernel with voodoo sound and color is included...big thanks to Bbelos for all he does for us and this.
Thanks to Toadlife for the install script which WILL convert you to MTD if you are on BML.

Takes a long time to boot after this...again!
The first boot takes a really long time. You will see the boot ani...a LOT during this time. I thought it was stuck on first boot. I hope you all like it.

You may want to ask Marcusant to host it though. SugarSync will block all sharing for twenty-four hours after their cap is reached. And Dropbox will stop after a while as well.
Or DevHost despite the issues.

Yeah, I thought I soft-bricked on the first flash and then did the dance of joy when it booted...LOL. It goes back to normal on the 2nd boot, 1 1/2 exploding planets.

[Rom][AOKP][Milestone 6 Enhanced][4.04}

This rom is Cm9 Aokp based with some enhancements. I have added a few programs and some tweaks. I get incredible battery life and great performance. Any problems would be the same as Aokp Milestone 6. Everything that I have tested has worked great. I have been using this for about 4 days now. Each day after about 16 hours I still have better than 50 percent battery left. Of course depending on use this could vary.
Here is the extra that I have included.
-Apex Launcher
-HD Wallpapers
-Rom Toolbox Lite
-V6 Supercharger Services.jar file is included but you need to run the script goto this link to run

Settings used for extra battery life
Menu->System Settings->Rom Control->Battery->Battery Icon Sytle->CircleMOD
For Circle Mod Battery
Menu->System SettingsSound->Vibrate on touch turn off
Menu->System Settings->Display->Sleep set to 30 seconds also uncheck Pulse notification and pulse low battery light
Menu->System Settings->Language & Input beside Android keyboard click on the settings uncheck vibrate on keypress
Menu->System SettingsWi-Fi->Menu Button->Advanced->Keep Wi-Fi on during Sleep->set to only when plugged in

How to install
From clockworkmod wipe cache dalvik and factory reset 3 times each. Install the rom and right after install google apps. Reboot and enjoy.

The new kernel installs TWRP over clockwork mod. Here is a link to reinstall Clockwork mod. With inject TWRp off flash this and reboot.

Just a quick question. Can you use any modem with this?
The reason I ask is bc the fc09 modem performs very poorly and causes my battery to die way before the day is over. There was talk of a magical end all modem in another thread, however the name of it is escaping me currently. I believe it was from the nexus or something.

The nexus modems will not work with this rom... you will need an epic modem... if fc09 doesn't perform well try ec05 or even fc19....

I have had better luck running ei22 . Every phone seems to have one or another that works better.

Are you in any locations with no signal for any extended period of time. That will cause your phone to work double time to get signal. If you are switch to airplane mode while you have no signal you can save your battery. Also if you have leave your wi-fi radio toggle on all day.

There isn't anything really unique to distinguish this ROM from the source. It's just AOKP with a few apps, wallpapers and the services.jar file for V6 (which is in the OP for AOKP).
Most ROM derivatives vary by tweaks, theme, partition map type, file system type, included apps and kernel. This really seems like someone's modded AOKP zip to save time.

FYI negative comments are non-constructive. You want to help and be part of this community then post something to help the OP...constructive critism. Negative comments come off as you have a sense of entitlement around here, which a lot of your posts do.
