IPhone slip cases

my dad has an iphone 3gs i managed to get my hands on his slip case, and IT fits, surely that is great for all of us that means that *hopefully* all iphone slip cases will also be compatible with our desires. heres a link to his one here

I tried my work colleagues slip case looks the same as in your link, he got his in the carphone warehouse so probably was 3 times as much. It does fit just just the top sticks out a tiny bit.
Getting so desperate for a case I might chance it.

yeah its quite a nice case actually considering when you add all the stuff shipping and vat it comes in at a healthy £15 which is pretty good for a nice case

It's a good price for a nice case, using a £2.90 from eBay at the moment and it's embarrassing!!

i've always used to have them type of cases but they always seem to do more harm than good considering this was a "mere" £400, well i think i might protect it properly!

I went down the line of somethings better than nothing.. Had it a week so it's been about 5 days longer than I wanted to keep it for, can't seem to find anything that I liked or that would fit.

I just bought a really nice iPhone slip case for my Desire.
Black, soft leather from HMV for £10... (half price)
Protrudes about 4mm out of the top - but well worth it.

Toughguard skin just arrived

Just received this from mobilefun. Decided to replace their clear "nexus one" case with this. This one is much better and the same price.
Its a solid plastic cover that has a back and front section that clip together encasing the phone. All the buttons,etc are nicely cut out of the plastic.
I also like the way it protrudes over the front to protect the front. All in all a good purchase.

Well i`m not going to loose sleep over £8 difference.

Looks a nice case, but..... Those cheap rubber ones on E-Bay are a lot more resilient than the hard plastic ones. Speaking from experience the rubber cases, or more than likely the Gel ones, now absorb impact a lot better than hard plastic. My sons 3gs had a hard plastic shell on it, he dropped it from his top blazer pocket, and the screen shattered. I used to own a touch HD which was always in a cheap e-bay gel case, and must have dropped this 5-6 times with no ill effects! You can get some great cases on amazon very cheap:

This is the case I currently use and I'm very happy with it.

They have now gone up to £2.90 delivered for 5! and are very good quality. I bought them when they were 1p + £1.45 delivery.
Recently got 2 HTC genuine screen protectors from Play when they were £4.99 for the pair, and they are crap compared to the Amazon ones lol

Problem with those gel cases though... they feel horrible in your hand.
Had one on my HD2... couldn't stand using the thing, but then conversely didn't want to get it scratched.
But then... for me... it's more about scratch resistence than dropping it... I have insurance for that!

bought one just like this one last week. thought it was rubber as thatswhat it said. it broke before i could put it one. mad me think what it would be like if i actually got it on and dropped it.

Most of the cases on mobile fun can be found for about £2-£4 on ebay
I bought a great case from ebay for £2.64, quality wise its miles better than the mobile fun case I paid £10 for and it came with a fitting screen protector!
At the end of the day, they all are made in the same country most of them coming from them probably coming from the same manufacturer, just because you're paying £10 doesn't mean the quality is any better.
There plenty of tacky ones on ebay but these are easy enough to avoid.

You can get exactly the same case on some other websites for almost half the price or even less.

Just get the original Htc Desire TPU Case TP C520. I attach the pictures for those who wants to check the detail before purchasing. You can get it from expansys-usa at US $17.99
Based on my opinion:
+ Perfectly fit.
+ Perfect grip on hands.
+ Volume button side is really good.
- Very glossy.
- Catch the dust & scratches easily.
It's the most perfect fit of TPU case, but the glossy finish make this case looked ugly when it gets the dust & scratches. I don't think it's worth $17.99. If you want really good protection, I think OtterBox Commuter Series Case is a better option at $34.95

It's ok for its price imho, i got one too and it saved me many times tho i don't think it's a great, erm, development tool...

Looks quite nice. But ibget the impression this will be moved to Desire Accessories soon

I kinda dislike silicon cases: bought one when i still had my old Touch Cruise, and it made me cry every time i had to pull the phone out of the pocket of my trousers: it's so sticky omg, never again...

its not soft silicone, and deff not stickie. its about te same feeling as when you slide your finger on touchscreen

it looks good on the phone, but i personally dont prefer cases on my phones...

I too bought one of these recently from Play.com for £9.99 and really impressed.
I was using a cheap one from ebay before and this one is so much better quality and isn't as thick so doesn't add as much bulk to the phone.
Plus the power button is cut out and there hole for the headphones is bigger than on the cheap one.
Also the plastic is more flexible around the volume buttons which makes it easier to press than with the cheap ebay one.

Dimensions of tpu case increased after 4 months
I bought it four months ago. The length of the case has increased by 2-3 mm. NOT WORTH IT.

Have been using mine for about a year now and still love it. It fits perfectly, volume buttons are great and all the holes are big enough. + it is not THAT shiny and its color fits the phone

I am very happy with mine which I bought off eBay for $5. Screen protector included still hasn't started peeling off, so for that cheap I really have nothing to complain about.

Official HTC TPU case is excellent. Perfect fit, not too bulky..and cheap too !
If you're in the UK you can get them from Play.com for only £6.99....bargain !

ive had this cover since last christmas and i have to say its thr best thing i have ever bought for my phone, the amount of scratches and dents this has saved me from is amazing, its even stopped the screen taking damage when dropped face down, i would 100% recomend this to everyone

After 2 broken screen digitizers... well i prefer the glossy looks than a broken screen! and the grip is awesome!

FishBone Case for HTC Inspire

just wanted to give my input after using this case for the past 4 months now and have to say it's a great tough case for the price. I have a habit of resting my phone on my lap when I'm driving and a few times I forgot when I got out of my truck to grab my phone and it got flung onto the pavement a couple of times without a scratch (knock on wood).. it has a durable grip with rubber skin with a snap on hard case and looks cool... I got mine on ebay for 6 bucks... they run around anywhere from 6-15 bucks and come in several colors

I have that same exact habit and it resulted in cracking the hell out of the screen of my last Inspire. Does the case make the phone feel bulky?

not at all it's has a very comfortable solid grip, not bulky at all.....
I think people look at it and think that it's bulky cause of it's rugged look and because it's a cheap price it must be crap, but in all honesty it's just as good if not better then the 30 dollar OtterBox Commuter or the 25 dollar Seidio... just saying

Thanks for pointing this one out. I had never seen one before but I like it. I ordered the black on black version for $14.99 shipped. The corner clip broke off of my Seidio and I was needing some sort of replacement without having to pay 29 bucks. Now, hopefully this will fit snugly in the clip that came with the Seidio. LOL

Really Nice case for the Money!
This is one of the cases I have for my Inspire! I love the fit it is nice and snugg! The only thing I find with it, it the rubber that goes under the speaker at the top of the screen can sometimes be a pain when I try to slide the notification bar down!
Apart from that I love this case, and I love the $10 price tag I got it for on eBay!!

I ordered a pink/black one from ebay. Took me a few tries to get it to actually fit right. I was getting mad and looking at other cases....I think the case felt the vibe...the next time I tried to get it to fit, it went on perfect. It works best to put the phone in while the case is totally together...not one piece at a time.

I got the black/white one for like $7 bucks , I love Ebay lol. I had this same case for my Desire Z and was very pleased with it, so getting this one again for this phone was a no brainer.

I know this thread is a little older, but I wanted to come and give my opinion for people that may come here looking for info about this case.
My Gf has this case on her Inspire, and the fit is crap. Never tried putting the phone in while the case is assembled though, but doing it one piece at a time the corners never match up. She got sick of the notification bar issue, and had problems with the proximity sensor, so she cut the little strip off that sits below the speaker and that solved the problem.

I have been using these cases for about four months now, and I think they are just great. I bought one off eBay, and ended up breaking it after dropping it. But the phone was perfectly fine, no scratches or anything. I ordered two more for less than $20. I would much rather have these than an otterbox.

I bought the same one off sleaze bay and it works great. I can still slide it in my pocket and it doesn't get stuck like my OtterBox did. My only complaint is....No clip to attach to a belt.

I preordered the case and got it today. It's awesome. Just what i wanted. I took the frosted one , i wanted to keep the white look of the phone. All the cases i found had that ugly shiny texture. Wow that's a super good deal. You'll love it. It's so much better in real and the texture is really amazing.
I have this case since day one and no problems what so ever. To be honest I love this case so much I'm super gentle when putting my phone down lol.

Do you like them? Can you show me how the black one looks like?

Does this case protect the camera glass a little ? Or is it so thin that the camera glass touches the surface on which the phone is put?

It's got a very slight raised lip around the camera cutout which means that the camera glass is protected. Definitely don't think that this is the strongest case on the market, but since the back of the phone is plastic not sure how strong a case needs to be.

These are on Amazon under a diff name for cheap. I can't post links cause I'm new, but just search "Slim Fit Google Pixel 3a". It was about $8 when I got it, but seems to have jumped up to $13.
Absolutely love mine. The milky white case on a white 3a is so dam sexy. Be careful putting it on, as I cracked my first one (they replaced it free ), as it's a super tight fit. Use the little tool it comes with.
If you love minamilistic, this is the case to get. Keeps the back nice and dry, where the stock back gets greasy after a few days from hand oils building up. This case stays dry for weeks and you don't have to constantly clean it.

If you are comfortable with Taobao, I bought a exactly same case on Taobao for 28 CNY (~4 USD).
Very slim and good looking case.
