based on my experience, fully charge the battery (monitor mAh using Elixir/ currentWidget) then wipe battery stats
i follow partial instruction in here under "Clean Battery_stats.bin file" sub-heading
hope it helps =)
Format it? It's a battery not a memory storage device.
Just charge the thing and use it.
Format= leave your phone 12 hours for charging

Just use it, mate. charge it when it's depleted.

That is not formatting at all that's called : leave your phone on charge for 12 hours... And i didn't do it i first drained my battery to 0% then to 100% did this 4-5 times and that's about it.

You could have changed the name of your thread or posted in there. What Rom are you running and is it your first cycle on the new battery?

A guy from HTC told me once how to calibrate my battery:
1) Turn your device ON and Charge the device for 8 hours or more
2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour
3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour.

The battery reading in sensation is crap. My battery is full (capacity reading via BMW Pro) when it shows 70 %. Turning the phone off let's the led turn green. Boot up and it shows 100%...
