I had installed CM9 (alpha 0.04) and Nook recovery flasher on Nook tablet 8Gb. After the reboot Cyanoboot was loading. After the Cyanoboot logo the screen was shaking and Nook doesn't load. I still have some seconds to enter the CWM. In CWM I tried to wipe all data/restore to factory defaults. Also I tried to install CM7. But that didn't help. I still have an option to boot from sd card (works). So i think that the problem is with Cyanoboot. Can anyone help? How can I remove Cyanoboot from system? (It is loaded in main memory, I think). Thank You.
Same here.
Nook tablet with Cyanoboot does not boot
I'm having the same problem...
I'm running the 16gb Nook tablet and I tried loading Cyanoboot. I can run using the sd card method, but after shutting down, removing the card and trying to boot beyond that point, all I get is the black "n" screen. Then the screen flashes and I get a much bigger "N"
Any suggestions would be more than welcome!! I've tried to get back to CWM, and no dice!!
Thanks in advance for your help!!
NookHD+ 16gig rooted to 4.4.2 suddenly not booting past cyanoboot universal bootloadr
I am having a similar problem. Anyone found a solution?
My Nook HD+ 16gig was working well under CM10. But I wanted it to run faster under the streamlined Kitkat 4.4.2, so I flash it to CM11. It worked well for a few days, but it seemed slower. Eventually, one morning it just stopped booting past the NookHD+ boot screen or sometimes past that but stuck at the cyanoboot universal bootloader screen.
I have tried booting from the internal bootloader and from the SD Card with the bootloader image. No luck on either front.
I also can no longer get into the CWM or TWRP (I have CWM). I try all forms of power key and volume/"n" keys combinations, but I can't get into the CWM menu to re-flash my NookHD+ (I have tried so many combinations, I now forget what is the proper key combination/order to boot into CWM. someone repost the proper key sequence please).
Well, help! I feel like the dog that barked at his own reflection on the well and dropped/lost his bone. I wanted my NookHD+ to run faster and more efficiently under KitKat 4.4.2, and now I lost the CM10 and CM11 settings. It really sucks.
Can someone help me re-set everything to factory default, so I can re-flash it CM10? Please help. Thanks!!

Hey there XDA! I thought I'd root my P920 a few days back, which went smooth, no issues and I was enjoying my newly rooted Optimus
I wanted to get a new kernel for it, so first thing I did was install CWM, Then clicking on 'Flash ClockworkMod recovery' in the app, which then flashed a CWM recovery if I'm not wrong. The final thing left to do was rebooting into the recovery, which I did by clicking 'Reboot into recovery'
Now waiting for the phone to reboot into recovery, the LG logo came up on screen, and stayed there for some time, which is normal behaviour as it takes a bit of a while to boot up for me, but then something odd happened, the logo disappeared and the screen blacked out, leaving the phone off. Immediately noticing this, I tried to boot the phone up as I normally would, but again the same thing occurred, logo appears, then phone blacks out and returns to an off state.I repeated this a few times, but to no avail.
These are some things I tried:
Normal booting multiple times
Normal booting after battery pull
Normal booting while charging
Normal booting after removing SD card (this resulted in a blue screen appearing after the LG logo on bootup, though I was impatient and didn't wait to see what would happen so I pulled the battery out )
Normal booting after removing SD card and then battery pull
Normal booting after removing SD and SIM card
Normal booting after removing SD and SIM and then battery pull
Booting into recovery multiple times
Booting into recovery while charging
Booting into recovery while charging
Booting into recovery after removing SD card and battery pull
Booting into recovery after removing SD card
Booting into recovery after removing SD and SIM card
Booting into recovery after removing SD and SIM card and battery pull
So as can be seen I've tried tons of situations
A few times, the screen turned into repeated patterns of static colour, it's difficult to describe but its only happened a couple times, and appeared on top of the LG logo. From what I've gathered, something is preventing the phone from booting up properly, either normally or into recovery, unless the problem is something else entirely. Also I don't have any NANdroid or Titanium backups.
So my questions are, could it be that I need a full charge for it to boot properly? Otherwise what's the problem and how do I get the phone to boot normally? I would prefer that all data on the phone is not erased but if it's a must then so be it.
I really appreciate any and all help I can get here, thanks!
P.S. I'm new to rooting and customising at that level, so please ask for any additional details or anything I was unclear about. Apologies to all for the lengthy first post, thanks again!
AW: [Q] Boot issues after installing CWM recovery
Hi welcome
Girst thing you have to do before flashing or doining something with your phone is a nandroid backup. I do always a titaniumbackup and saved pictures and music manually only for insurence. Next thing, whcich app do you use for flashing cwm?
For your data im not sure if you can rescue that i dont think so.
If i understand it right your are stuck on bootlogo right?
To rescue your phone you can always go back to gb by flashing kdz file with flashtool. Watch here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1540163
But in that case you will loose all your data on phone.
P.S. and next time if you want to flash cwm use os_hackings all in one tool. And flash twrp recovery its better and didnt have so much bugs
Sent from my LG-SU760 using xda app-developers app
I used ROM Manager for flashing cwm, yes I am stuck on bootlogo
Thanks for the help! I'll try out what you suggested and report back here if it works
Hi all.
I have rooted an non-glowlight NST, and, having just picked up a glowlight version on ebay, I decided to root it following this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1675706
I got as far as booting CWM and installing glownooter-1-5-26.zip. Upon rebooting, however, it still gave me the standard Nook splash screen and would reboot after 20 seconds or so. So, I re-inserted my SD card and got back in to CWM. Now, the nook is frozen up on the initial CWM menu screen. No buttons work, and I can't force a reboot by holding the "n" and power buttons at the same time. Any ideas on what I might try to get back to a point where I can reboot?
Thanks.
Hello,
I have an LY-F1 AllWinner A10 tablet.
I installed CWM (using this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189640) and used the reboot-recovery.sh in order to access the recovery screen where I did a full wipe and also wiped the dalvik cache.
I installed cm9, gapps and the lyf1 compatibility zip (from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760929), rebooted and everything was working fine.
I did the same again for cm10 (from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398), rebooted and was presented with the spinning cm10 logo. It never gets past this stage, I have left it for 15-20 mins on a couple of occasions.
My plan then was to reflash cm9, but I am unable to get into fastboot mode, download mode, cwm or anything other than the spinning CM logo.
I looked at other similar threads, but couldn't find anything useful.
I appreciate any replies.
Thanks,
David.

It may well have been, I'm not sure.
Pretty sure it's fit for the bin now, should have checked i could access cwm with buttons instead of using the reboot script.
Or left CM9 on it... - hindsight is a great thing!
Ok, so I gave my wife my old TF101 when I got the 701. I reflashed it with a fresh install of timduru's KatKiss ROM. It's been running reasonably well aside from random reboots. all of a sudden, yesterday it stopped booting up at all. It shows the normal Asus flash screen, but then when it shows the OS specific one (in this case, the weird little picture of timduru's meerkat thing...) it's just flashing random little bits of tha tpitcure all over different parts of the screen an some sort of random flickering and never going past it. I can still boot to the recovery normally, so I wiped it and tried reflashing the same ROM and ended up with the same thing. Tonight I plan to try to download the newer version of the ROM and try, but I fear I may be SOL. Any other suggestions?
Have you tried wiping everything 100% in TWRP Recovery?
Including Data etc ?

Yes, I did that. Still no good. I'm pretty much screwed, aren't I?
If your TF serial number starts B6O or lower, some B7Os too, then it is SBK1, which means you can use NVFLASHable ROMs - they delete and remake every partition on the TF and reinstall stock ROM - you could try that in case the sdcard is corrupt
stuck at TWRP screen, failed to flash bootloader
Hello everyone,
Not to thread jack but I have a similar problem and instead of opening a new thread I decided to revive this one.
I have a similar problem that my TF101 has been working flawlessly for many years. It is rooted and was running 4.3 ROM. As of yesterday, it just won't boot at all. It has been stuck at the NVidia screen and just sits there. I tried to enter recovery mode by using volume(-) + power and the unit presents the TWRP logo and just loops as well by showing the TWRP screen (3 seconds) then going blank for a second then showing TWRP screen again in a cycle. I downloaded and tried Easyflasher and Brks toolkit and nothing can complete the flash. I can enter MTP mode which the computer can see the device but the manufacturer name and model are not-recognized. I can also enter APX mode but while trying to flash anything I get an error message (error, cannot flash bootloader) and the computer dings (device disconnects).
I have been trying for a day now and have run out of ideas.
Has the unit finally bit the dust? Does any one out there have any more ideas or suggestions on what to try next?
TIA for any help provided.
Hello,
I'm a long time browser of this forum and have had a lot of luck with ROMs in the past, however, in the spring I bricked my N8013 like something horrible. Long story short, I zeroed the internal SD card and had to rebuild the partition table from scratch as I couldn't find a working PIT at the time. FUN!
Anyway, once it was fixed I was able to get Lineage 14.1-20170305-unofficial-n8013 installed and working....mostly What a relief! MTP didn't work, but WiFi did. One thing I noticed right away was that the Boot Logo, when you first turned the tablet on seems to be referencing some trash space on the internal SD card as there is no logo, only noise or maybe a previous screen (i.e. if I go into download mode and reboot, then the download mode screen is now my boot logo). After the initial POST, the lineage boot screen shows fine, but that's some 10s later.
Regardless, the N8013 hardware does not run lineage very smoothly and Lineage is not optimized for the N8013 - aka **** battery life.
So, I decided to give Android HD Revolution 21 a shot. I used Odin and flashed "High On Android" recovery and installed Android HD Revolution 21 from my external SD card. Easy! Still doesn't resolve the boot image issue, but whatever.
Boot up and I discover that not only does MTP still not work, but neither does WiFi! Bluetooth works for some reason though. So, I took to the forums and tried to resolve the issue.
I tried flashing both sets of stock kernels from here and repeating the install process. Nothing. Additionally, I noticed in the Android Settings inside Android HD Rev. that it shows N8000, however, my tablet is the WiFi only model (N8013EA as stated on the back of the device).
So, TL;DR
-Welcome suggestions on how to resolve MTP and WiFi issues. Currently working in Android HD Revolution but I don't think it's limited to that ROM
-Welcome thoughts on how to fix the Boot Logo issue. I feel like this should be a simple fix, I just don't know where files like this would/should be stored since it exists somewhere in the partition table and now in the ROM.
Well, was able to resolve the WiFi issue by install the Boeffla Kernal from: https://www.boeffla.de/index.php/downloads/eol-kernel-versions
Still looking for help with MTP and the boot logo if anyone has ideas!
