[Q] HELP - Skyrocket to be used in Middle East

Guys I got a Skyrocket (ATT) from the US and would like to use the phone overseas. Currently, I am the UAE and would like to use this phone as my rimary device (getting rid of my BlackBerry). I don't want to root the phone (due to it being on the company network), but have unlocked the device.
I can send and receive calls no problem, but can't seem to access/use data or send mms messages. I have the following APN(s) set up (for Etisalat), but it still doesn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
APN #1 -
Name: 3G
APN: etisalat.ae
Proxy <Not Set>
Port <Not Set>
Username: <Not Set>
Password: <Not Set>
Server <Not Set>
MMSC: <Not Set>
MMS: <Not Set>
MMS port: <Not Set>
MCC: 424
MNC: 02
Autherntication type: <Not set>
APN type: internet+mms+supl
APN #2 -
Name: etisalat
APN: mms
Proxy <Not Set>
Port <Not Set>
Username: mms
Password: mms
Server <Not Set>
MMSC: h ttp://mms/servlets/mms
MMS proxy: 10.12.0.30
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 424
MNC: 02
Autherntication type: <Not set>
APN type: mms
When I add the first APN, the APN type is listed as <Not Set>, but when I set the second one up, the first one defaults to internet+mms+SUPL. It also has a 'select circle' which I hit will turn green, but then can't de-select it. I have tried to set the first APN to internet, but neither works.

MMS - Port 80
MMS protocol - Wap 2.0
MCC - 302

Aythentication type - < not set>
APN type -*
Any ideas?
shouldnt there be a username and password?
Don't think so...ive confirmed the APN settings with other sources.
Try doing a factory reset first. If that foesnt fix it, it may be the sim. Do you have another phone you could try the sim card in?
Tell rogers your microsim stopped working and theyl probably replace it pro bono
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA
Turns out the problem was a coincidence...Rogers was upgrading to LTE in my area and the service was temporarily down. All is good.

[Q] Missing LTE after Flashing CM10.1

Hi All,
I am hoping someone could answer my question. I am a newb and finally flashed my Rogers skyrocket with CM10.1. Now that I have flashed it I do not get LTE icon anymore. I do see 4G H+ but never lte. I checked apn settings. Also I am unsure of which network mode I should be on. LTE/WCDMS or LTE/GSM/WCDMS or GSM/WCDMA. I am currently using this setting. LTE/GSM/WCDMS. Thanks
My APN Setting are:
APN - ltemobile.apn
Proxy - <not set>
Port - <not set>
Username- <Not set>
Passwors - <not set>
Server < not set>
MMSC - HAD TO REMOVE LINK IN THIS QUESTION
MMS - proxy 10.128.1.69
MMS - Port 80
MMS protocol - Wap 2.0
MCC - 302
MNC - 720
Aythentication type - < not set>
APN type - default, supl, mms ---------(I have tried * Only as Well)---------

So I recently flashed ViperXL 4.0 and I notcied I got no Data so I entered this APN:
APN - ltemobile.apn
Proxy - <not set>
Port - <not set>
Username- <Not set>
Passwors - <not set>
Server < not set>
MMSC - http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS - proxy 10.128.1.69
MMS - Port 80
MMS protocol - Wap 2.0

Aythentication type - < not set>
APN type - either "*" or "internet + mms"
But it didnt work, I tried another and It worked but I only got 3G no LTE. Any Ideas?
That's exactly what I have, but I can get LTE fine.
My guess is it's either a ROM issue (I don't have the same ROM as you do, but I'm guessing it was based on the stock OTA that was released three weeks back), or you don't have the appropriate network mode set (GSM/HSPA perhaps?).
