What is CyanogenMod?
CyanogenMod (pronounced sigh-AN-oh-jen-mod), is a customized, aftermarket firmware distribution for several Android devices (See above for supported devices & how to install CyanogenMod on said devices). Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability over Android-based ROMs released by vendors and carriers such as Google, T-Mobile, HTC, etc. CyanogenMod also offers a variety of features & enhancements that are not currently found in these versions of Android.
While this build is heavily optimized, it is also capable of pushing your phone much harder. CyanogenMod and it’s team hold no responsibility to any damage caused to your phone, loss of earnings as a result of damaging your phone or anything else that is connected to the development of this rom.

If you are flashing the latest 7.2 stable, do you still need the LED and audio fix posted below it?

Sorry, the problem was in the APN settings ;-)

Hello,
Does this ROM have drivers for the NFC on U8650-1?

I can't open cyanogenmod settings, it says "Application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly."
..have rebooted to recovery, wiped cache and dalvik-cache, no help... Also wiped all system/data before even installed cyanogenmod 7.2 stable.. any ideas?

I did every wipe possible, installed fine but I cant find google play store or sync with my account to get my apps back. how can I fix that?

You only have to install GAPPS. The link is at the end of post #1. Enjoy! :good:

on the May 2012 7.2 STABLE rom, do you still have to apply the LED and AUDIO fix or are the fixes included in that release? Also, why doesn't "Use only 2G Networks" work?

I am having trouble connecting to wifi on the latest 7.2 stable... ATT Fusion (U8652) any Ideas?
Thanks for the rom.

A tip I learned today that I thought I'd share;
After putting this mod on to two phones, we saw wifi problems (repeated disconnects) due to using the same wifi mac address.
Here's how I changed the wifi mac address;
1) Turn wifi off.
2) Launch root explorer, navigate to /system/wifi/
3) Mount as rw (by clicking the "mount rw" button, top right)
4) Long press on nvram.txt - open it in the text editor.
5) Adjust the line that begins; macaddr=
(I put in the mac address that my fusion had when it was on the stock at&t rom).
6) Hit menu key, save + exit.
At this point wifi can be re-enabled and it will use the new mac address. The settings sticks after a reboot but will probably be reset if you do a factory reset / wipe user data.
Next time, I'll modify the file inside the .zip before I copy it to the sd card."
so what i took from that before installing the ROM, i went to that location copied the stockroms mac address and then proceeded to install rom. now i will follow his steps that way your wifi mac address isnt conflicting anymore. will post back to let you know if it worked =D

Wouldn't this only help people who have the same rom on 2 phones using the same router or access point? If you only have one phone it would not apply correct? If this is the case, this is not my problem, It would be unlikely that anyone is using the same rom within the vicinity of the wifi hostspot as its a residential hotspot.

Thanks for the great Rom, awesome work! Just curious if there are any plans to fix the cyanogenmod settings crash? Other than that everything works perfect tho, thanks guys!!!

I have a picture of it, hidden under a piece of plastic, the picture is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37305027#post37305027 (not trying to hijack thread, but I think my post is getting lost in the masses in that forum), Huawei USA and Huawei Device on Twitter has not been answering support questions. POST BOOT SETUP
-Don't allow Google to collect anonymous data; It makes your GPS run all the time.
Un-Check Back up my data to Google
-LET IT SYNC! Its going to do all kinds of stuff like restoring apps etc. just let it chill for a while, go into market and watch the downloads tab once the sync icon disappears! Seriously, leave it alone, go hang out, or setup your settings but leave apps alone!
-If you get into a loop with the setup wizard on first boot, just hit home key after you log in once.
-CM Settings
Go to: Settings>CyanogenMod Settings
Application settings> Check Allow application moving (DO NOT CHANGE INSTALL LOCATION FROM AUTOMATIC, IT WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH APPS2EXT)
-Input Settings>Lockscreen music controls are awesome thanks kmobs!, Menu unlock settings are in here as well.
-Performance Settings> You should only touch Lock Home in Memory (which everyone should turn on!) if you want us to support you in the threads Other stuff is functional, but experimental!
-UI Settings> See Known issues section for instructions on setting this up easily Setting most things to white or grey will result in fine looks. You need not mess with Notification bar submenu under >Notifications colors
-Spare Parts Setup
Go to: Settings>Spare parts
Window animations: Fast
Transition animations: Fast
I took a lot of time on this...I hope you all enjoy.

I am doing nandroid backup and restore frequently with RA-1.7.0 and FroYo-RoMs. The only thing I do: not using it from the menu-screen, but going to console and using the "utility"-program and selecting there nandroid-backup/restore. Has an additional advantage: you can choose names for the backup!

Downloaded it this morning and made an update install without wiping, coming from cyanogenmod 6.0.0 rc2. Runs fine up to now, a2sdext working, disabled swap and running with compcache only. Will give my feedback later. My first impression is great. Good work, congratulations!
will download this in a minute!
tnx!!!
Best Froyo rom,the only thing i don't like is the ugly phone dialer!
Market Install as well as TitaniumBackup did not used ext4 partition
Hi @all,
installed that ROM. Thank you for that very smooth feeling.
Came from CM5, did a TitaniumBackup but cannot restore all apps because ext4 partition was not used. All data seams to be load into /data.
Installed after full wipe and repair ext partition via Amon Ra and flashed Superfly.
Enabled 'Application moving' as described (CM Settings
Go to: Settings>CyanogenMod Settings
Application settings> Check Allow application moving (DO NOT CHANGE INSTALL LOCATION FROM AUTOMATIC, IT WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH APPS2EXT))
Also tried a 'sh /system/etc/fr-patch134.txt' after installation in order to start A2SD but neither Market installs nor TitaniumBackup will work.
Any idea what I can do to use my ext4 partition?
Thank you very much for your suport in advance.
Ciao morT
This is one of the best roms i've used by far. Fast and beautiful looking.
this rom is great i want to know what ext partition u are using ? swap? are u using jit and comcache ?

Almost all FroYo ROMs up to now support apps2sdext only by using the apps2sdext-patch from firerat. The application originally will be installed on /data, but by calling the skript the apps will be transferred to /sd-ext and symlinked in /data. So calling the fr-apps2sdext - skript from time to time will free space in /data. More details about that, you can find here
The short answer is you need to reformat your sd card ext4 partition to ext2.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'll be glad to get a nice theme for it, but at least there's an image behind it so it looks a little better.

[ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.4f (Android 2.3.7) [20130310]

Main credits:
Obviously, it's the CyanogenMod team and all CM contributors in the first place.
Besides that and my own humble work, CM for Milestone would not be where it is now without the essential works of Skrilax_CZ (2nd-init, OpenRecovery, custom kernel, 2ndboot fixes and more), Czechop (hack to the kernel usb initialization code that allows to keep BP working after 2ndboot to custom kernel), f_pasha (gkisystem semaphore patch), Tiago Sousa (author of the original overclock kernel module) and contributions from others that I forgot to list here .
Also worth mentioning is a lot of notable work done by the Defy developers: Epsylon, Quarx and Maniac103
The original 2ndboot code is by Dmitriy Taychenachev and Eugen Maksimov.
Please note that Milestone is not officially supported by CyanogenMod.

2ndboot OpenRecovery: http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod4milestone/downloads/detail?name=OpenRecovery_2ndbootOR_v1_2.zip
Full guide from stock Motorola Android to CyanogenMod 7 for Milestone
- by pontomedon (many thanks)
- it includes instructions on how to partition sdcard directly in OpenRecovery (to resize existing fat and create ext3)
New era with custom kernel via 2ndboot
Czechop (Milestone 2) managed to create a hack to the kernel usb initialization code that allows to keep BP working even after 2ndboot to custom kernel.
(See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908687 )
Thanks to Skrilax_CZ, the issue of low performance before the first device suspend has been resolved (L2 cache remained disabled before).
Note that a lot of work on the custom 2.6.32.60 kernel for Milestone has been done by Skrilax_CZ.
Main new features:
- Kernel Samepage Merging enabled
- ZRAM (compcache) can be enabled under CyanogenMod>Performance settings (will be active after reboot)
- additional swap file (or partition) can be used, if desired
Download:
CM7.2.4f: http://d-h.st/3fb
gapps: http://d-h.st/M05
(older CM builds: http://d-h.st/users/nadlabak/?fld_id=2535#files and https://github.com/nadlabak/android/downloads )
7.2.4f (2.3.7) 10.03.2013
- the libaudio that allows beepless call recording has been made optional, because some users reported BP panics on incoming calls
-- you can enable it under Device settings > Experimental libaudio (the change requires reboot)
-- the experimental libaudio received new binary patch that may (or may not) fix the BP panics (testing and confirmation from users is needed)
- several additional fixes done to the call recording code
- added CPU stats kernel module
- the moto RIL data connectivity workarounds introduced in 7.2.4c can be optionally disabled by ro.telephony.ril_class=motow3gplain in /system/build.prop (the default value that includes the workarounds is "motow3g")
- ringer audiofocus fix (by maniac103)
- omap3 hwrng is now exposed by kernel and used by userspace rngd to feed the entropy pool
7.2.4e (2.3.7) 30.12.2012
- call recording: fix recording for calls with asterisk in phone number
- fix typo in /system/etc/init.d/12swap script
- use better way to implement 'Disable Dock Observer' option (fix issue 637 - http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod4milestone/issues/detail?id=637 )
7.2.4d (2.3.7) 27.12.2012
- add built-in call recording option; no beeps every 10s during call recording any more
- wifi: disable 802.11n support by default (HT_Enable in tiwlan.ini) to prevent stale data connections when using certain N routers
- kernel: reverted doubling of the DAC fifo size to 16384 (to prevent audio drop-outs) as it caused broken audio playback in certain games
- fix /system/etc/init.d/12swap script
in case you're wondering why the new build is not uploaded to github as before, see https://github.com/blog/1302-goodbye-uploads
7.2.4c (2.3.7) 11.12.2012
- kernel: increased DAC fifo size to 16384 to reduce the chance of audio drop-outs
- fix unwanted lcd-backlight activation by camera button while the screen is off (was related to the light sensor workaround that allows to use camera button to provoke sending of light sensor data without waiting for ALS interrupt)
- better handling of Baseband Processor panic (by maniac103) - instead of immediate reboot like in stock firmware, user is notified and can choose to postpone the reboot (e.g. when he's got some work to finish first). Note about the reason of reboot is displayed after restart.
- workarounds for some motorola RIL issues that cause occasional data connectivity problems (by maniac103)
- build: in-line kernel building
- optional swap activation on boot via /system/etc/init.d/12swap
-- requires swap partition present as third partition on sdcard
-- swap size (in kB) is determined by persist.sys.swapsize property
-- no persist.sys.swapsize property defined or set to 0 means no swap activation
example how to set persist.sys.swapsize property in terminal:
su
setprop persist.sys.swapsize 16384
7.2.4b (2.3.7) 09.11.2012
- kernel update: 10MB more of a free RAM (when the camera is not active)
-- allocate the LSC workaround memory only for the time while the ISP is actually in use
7.2.4a (2.3.7) 03.11.2012
- overclock: vsel entries restored to proofed values
- 2ndboot: updated pre-built binaries
-- a fix instead of a workaround for the GPU performance, proper ATAGs passing (thanks to Skrilax_CZ), etc.
- Music.apk: fixed music playback resume after a phone call (thanks to Danny Baumann)
7.2.4 (2.3.7) 23.10.2012
- the bad GPU performance on low CPU freq fixed via workaround during init (temporary insmod of stock pvr driver)
- updated kernel:
-- we're now on 2.6.32.60 (thanks to Skrilax_CZ)
-- new interactive governor backported from jellybean (with input-boost feature activated by touchscreen events)
-- camera helper buffer (allocated during boot) reduced by 6MB (thanks to alef78) > more free RAM available
-- optional 5 point multitouch fixed
-- fixed usb tethering (only in the 2nd uploaded 7.2.4 build - sorry for the confusion)
- bootinfo hacks could be removed thanks to new 2ndboot update by Skrilax_CZ
7.2.3 (2.3.7) 18.10.2012
download: https://github.com/nadlabak/android/downloads
- older builds are hopelessly obsolete from now on
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.2.1 (2.3.7) 01.09.2012
- GPU drivers (SGX PVR) updated to 1.7 (latest Gingerbread release) from 1.5 (Froyo), despite the locked kernel
-- it allows less hacky surfacefliger/libui/egl code. Most notably, some workarounds had to be used for some apps to prevent occasional crashes on screen rotation before. Most prominently it can be seen in Gallery app. Before, the view had to be reset on each rotation (to make sure there won't be a crash), now it can work more naturally. Similar hack has had to be used for Google Maps as well...
- the proprietary gralloc.omap3.so patched to report 265 DPI to match the physical characteristics of the Milestone's display
- "stay away from zombie content providers" race condition fix - before, randomly, apps could get suddenly killed (after they attached to content provider that has been already killed, but its zombie process still there). This race caused apps to suddenly disappear e.g. after the search function has been initiated (reported e.g. in the case of Google Maps before). It should no longer happen after this release.
- a recent Google Maps update changed a part of the name of the always running background service from NetworkLocationService to GoogleLocationService. This change has been reflected in ActivityManagerService code, so the GMaps hack is working again.
- lots of fixes and also new features from upstream CyanogenMod is included, e.g. the increasing ring tone volume option.
7.2.0 (2.3.7) 16.06.2012
- 7.2.0 release
- the most notable 'last minute' fix is the elimination of the occasional 'mute' incoming call (while the two-way call recording ability is retained)
7.2.0 RC2 (2.3.7) 01.06.2012
- fixed initialization issues leading to bootloops or stalled boot if the ext partition mount took too long
- fixed lockscreen button behavior (notification power widget) where the lockscreen couldn't be enabled again after a while (thanks to maniac103)
- Toggle2G built from source; removed the need for root permissions
- usb: usbd built from source (thanks to Skrilax_CZ), disabled usb notification sound, usb tethering can be enabled directly from usb notification menu
- wlan: updated kernel drivers, disabled adhoc support in tiwlan.ini to prevent connection issues for some APs
- possible workaround for mute call issue (more feedback is needed to confirm or disprove its effectiveness) - Issue 752
- LatinIME is run in SystemUI process to spare additional 2MB of RAM
- added protection of Mms app if its service is doing a work. It shouldn't be necessary to keep the Mms app in RAM all the time to prevent lost sms anymore
- added possible recovery from DSP Bridge failures (its effectiveness needs to be confirmed) - Issue 672
- updated fonts (to fix special Romanian chars)
- install process wipes the dalvik-caches automatically
- etc.
7.2.0 RC1 (2.3.7) 23.03.2012
- various fixes under the hood
7.2.0 RC0 (2.3.7) 21.02.2012
just a quick fix build:
- make sure that services don't start before sd-ext has been mounted (if present)
- fix LED in charge only mode
7.2.0 RC0 (2.3.7) 17.02.2012
- wide screen video recording now captures in 848x480 resolution (was 720x400)
- two way call recording is now possible (recording has to start after the lines have been connected, not sooner)
- UMTS baseband (2100/900 vs. 2100/1900/850) can be selected in Device settings, the selection will persist even after future system updates (please do not use the baseband switching via Open Recovery anymore)
- fixed in-call and SIM PIN unlock screen layouts for landscape orientation, e.g. for phone in CarDock or DeskDock
- additional information about call can be indicated (e.g. that an incoming call has been forwarded, that the call is on hold on the remote side...)
- workaround for broken proximity sensors - camera button can be used to generate fake 'proximity far' event
- many other important fixes and improvements
note: CMWalpapers and Androidian and Cyanbread themes are not included anymore as more space in /system was needed for the libraries that enable the higher quality video recording. Themes and wallpapers can be installed e.g. from market separately.
7.1.5 (2.3.7) 21.01.2012
- ics animations (including rotation) backported to gingerbread
- renderer updated with rotation support - proper playback of videos with orientation hint
- adhoc disabled in tiwlan.ini (may help few people with wifi issues)
7.1.4 (2.3.7) 19.01.2012
- native wifi tethering finally works (proprietary 3G Mobile Hotspot removed, no dun apn dependency anymore)
- T9 dialer
- new 'Holo' ring lockscreen style
- increased net buffers for wifi, added values for hspa
- internal: switched to init built from source, wifi: switched from system/wlan/ti to hardware/ti/wlan, gps: gingerbread lib (from Defy GB firmware) is used instead of froyo lib + gpshim wrapper
- other things I can't remember now
notes:
1) 7.1.3 skipped to distinguish from the intermediate version used as base for the last HO!NO! Mod
2) If you encounter wifi issues after update:
reboot to recovery, open console and enter
Code:
rm -R /data/misc/wifi
exit
and reboot. You will have to re-configure your wifi networks after this.
Also make sure you have correct Wifi Regulatory domain selected.
Settings>Wireless & network>Wi-Fi settings>menu>Advanced>Regulatory domain.
Select appropriate value (11-US, 13-EU, 14-JP), then menu>Save
7.1.2 (2.3.7) 13.12.2011
- fixed recurring events in lockscreen calendar widget
- fixed possible egl surface creation failure (in PewPew game and possibly other apps); reworked egl config selection
- added optional revamped ring lockscreen style
- fixed bugreport service (left shift + del), report files are stored in /sdcard/bugreports/
- added /etc/powervr.ini for some PowerVR SGX tweaks (> less RAM used by surfaceflinger)
- internal storage changes:
-- dalvik.vm.dexopt-cache-only disabled by default ('no free space left in /cache' issue)
-- return back to 07app2ext moving also dalvik-cache to sd-ext
-- lib2ext script (and support for it in installd) newly included. It is not active by default. It can free huge amount of space in /data by transfer of applications' native libraries to sd-ext. Make sure you have enough free space (at least 100MB-200MB) in /sd-ext before you enable it. To activate it, run "su" and then "lib2ext 1" in terminal on phone. The libs will be moved during the next boot.
- etc

Thank you so much, i have been waiting for this since gingerbread code released.

Android 2.3 working on a 2.2 kernel
2.2 kernel
Only motorola signed kernels.
It's Android 2.3 based on 2.2 latest kernel leak!
kabaldan Thanks a lot for this release. I have one question can you make the unlock vibration not so stronger something like the official 2.2 leak?

Since this is a new version of CM, is it recommended or even necessary to do a full cache/data wipe?
Or can we apply the update without any wipe as with CM6?

Thanks to the king!!!
thanks to the almighty f_pasha from me too
and also to kabaldan for his work on bringing us good roms and of course all the other devs!
so far gingerbread is working really nicely... if it stays that way i dont see any reason to return to froyo
how can I set only the fancy screen off animation to be played kabaldan?
I dont want all the other animations because they lag the phone!
Thanks!
wow awesome finally,.... good work nadlabak and f_pasha... both geniuses.
This is FANTASTIC! Working great so far. The only thing I noticed so far is that Navigation is missing.....? Google maps is updated in marketplace but Navigation is not present in draw. I did a google gesture search and it found it but gave an error when launching....
That's the only issue I ran into so far.
EDIT: After applying GPS fix and rebooting the phone Navigation is now appearing in the draw.
I also get a force close when trying to turn on notifications for CM updates in the settings menu, is this not going to be implemented?
Thanks for the work.

Cm 7.2 release note: http://www.cyanogenmod.com/blog/cyanogenmod-7-2
Cyanogenmod for our phone it's not on the official repos yet, and nobody it's working on finish the cm7 for our phone, which is abandoned in favor of cm9, when the development of cm9 on our phone reaches the stable milestone (everything works) then it will become official and it will be available on the official channels...
Cm 7.2 in i9003sl
Hi,
Its true tht the changelog for C.M 7.2 support for OMAP devices
but when i tried to install it. It search for only I9000 MODELS, hence no support for I9003 SL, so installation failed
if u people can look into this issue. Instead of working on CM 9 then it. will be gud.
Pls do check for these issue!
From Galaxy S I9003SL
No. Just no.
Not again.
CURRENTLY DEVELOPERS ARE WORKING ON CM9 AND WILL NOT (YET) WORK ON CM7 UNTIL CM9 IS COMPLETELY STABLE AND MAYBE EVEN CM10.
CM7 IS CURRENTLY OUTDATED COMPARED TO OTHER VERSIONS AND WORKING ON MANY PROJECTS AT THE SAME TIME WILL CAUSE DELAYS AND LESS UPDATES AND PROBLEMS FOR EVERYONE.
WAIT PATIENTLY AND NEVER EVER ASK FOR CM7/CM10/CM29384 , WHEN IT'S READY IT'S READY, AND LEARN TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.
There, anyone can copy-paste that for the next 20 years.
Cm 7.2 in i9003sl
Yaa i respect your work. Even i have seen ur project. For C.M 9
But my question is if some one can make little change in tht Rom i think it may work.
I have less knowledge abt modifing custom.made rom. But is it possible to change the parametes of tht rom so tht it can work on our mobile?
Wht say.
Sent from Galaxy S I9003SL
I'll just reply one more time to get you in the right direction.
We already have CM7 with some bugs, (Don't ask anyone to fix em, ream my previous post).
And NO, i won't give a link. use the lovely search button.. it loves you too.
ook, dude i got ur words!!

Purity was originally developed for Galaxy Nexus (maguro). Recently there was an official version for Nexus 7 (grouper). But I own a tilapia, so.. instead of sitting and waiting for an official support I decided to build it by myself.
Just because it's an unofficial version, I added the stock GoogleGalley from 4.2 in order to have picasa sync, and a nice LegacyCamera, just in case someone wants to take a pic of himself

Battery life depends on many factors. First of all personal usage. I have to say that I'm more than happy with this ROM/kernel combo.
Anyway I'll do some measurement.
Rom looks nice can i ask before i download it no reported problems with 3g or wifi ? thanks :good:

hey, just downloaded the rom, super smooth so far, but one little yet major problem, the quick settings panel is not working, you know? blue tooth, wifi tiles etc...no drop down :/ i keep tapping the upper right hand of the screen but nothing drops down. it's a real shame if that doesn't work cause the rom really looks nice and smooth

well, yea, that is what i was doing. it's not working. also not working is the gesture keyboard typing. it makes a trail and everything but nothing is being typed :/
i have wiped twice, wiped dalvik-cache twice.. did everything twice. didn't do the trick.
Quite strange I'm just trying with gesture keyboard (that i don't like, but it's woking..) in order to test it. Please, can you PM me with a logcat when you do those two things? ( plug USB cabke , then "adb logcat | tee logcat.txt " )
Best ROM because of the dual-panel toggle,, but I get frequent random SystemUI FC`s. I do not have access to a PC, so I can not attach the bug report .txt file. This is what I have found parsing the file

General Info & Introduction
Android Open Source Project: Or in short AOSP. Android is an open-source software stack created for mobile phones and other devices. The Android Open Source Project (AOSP), led by Google, is tasked with the maintenance and further development of Android. Many device manufacturers have brought to market devices running Android, and they are readibly available around the world.
Rooting: Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user.

New ROM! Great! :good:
Need 2 check these common CM & Butter problems
1) old CM bug in network scanning not showing available networks (currently pure aosp from clie is not scanning right as well)
2) loud buzz sound (robotic) instead of normal tone on first dial (very often, quite annoying)
3) rare screen flickering
4) very often battery app doesn't reset counter after charging and continue to calculate and show stuff like "3 days 11 hours... on battery" (maybe an issue with dock, since I use it daily for overnight charging)
5) video recording sound glitch
6) DSP manager gets killed/deactivated after some time during playback (doesn't happen with ViPER4Android (V4A) Audio Effects though)
7) mms cannot be received issue
8) bug with no audio in hangouts (hangouts issue?)
Nice! Another awesome 4.2.2 ROM!
Just a few questions:
1. This ROM doesn't have ION implemented in it's kernel, does it?
2. What is hot-reboot?
Sent from my Ouya
Downloading,report later. Thanks
As I stated on your Facebook wall, awesome job with this rom, I was one of the first to try it before it was posted and I was impressed. Very kinky animals too lol

Hot Reboot is similar to the function of HTC Sense "Quick Reboot", where it reboots the shell only.
Does this rom has Halo ?

I'll just let you know what's specfic to this ROM and what's not (happens on all ROMs running JB).
1. Possible RIL lib(.so) bug, effects all JB ROMs
2. ROM bug, specific to this ROM. (Never had it on any JB ROMs I've tried, and I've tried most of them)
3. Kernel/JB bug. Not ROM based (per se).
4. Needs to charge to 100%/99% before it resets. Occurs in most AOSP based JB ROMs including mine
5. ROM bug, specific to this ROM.
6. I know the bug, need some time to fix it myself. Service is killed after a while. General JB bug with all or most low memory devices using DSP in the ROMs.
7. ROM bug specific to this ROM.
8. ROM bug, can be fixed by using Team-Hydra's audio-caf tree.
Hopefully this helps the devs out a little.

If it had ION then the camera wouldn't work. A hot-reboot just restarts the shell instead of the whole phone.

There's a Known Bugs section of the OP that doesn't say the camera is broken. Also, one of the features is "Custom Camera features". The device tree on ThinkingBridge's GitHub doesn't have ION enabled.

Yes, which means it doesn't have ION because if it had ION then the camera would not work (unless they had a 3.4 kernel, which they do not). That means the ROM has PMEM and has the camera working (which is what I originally said ).
