[Q] Favourite ROM? Poll inside!

Hy guys!
Hope i will not angry the mods with this thread.
With this thread i want to create a poll of the favorite ROMs for the Desire S.
It's by no means discriminatory, all developers are doing a great job and i really appreciate the entire community.
Just wanted to see from other users their opinion regarding the favorite ROMs (based on experience).
I have included 2 external polls : 1 for AOSP and 1 for Sense 3.5
The included ROMs for the poll are :

Below you can see the result after the first day of voting, i hope that more users will trow a vote in order to have a more exact status regarding the favourite roms of the Desire S community

Can you please stop spamming on every ROM thread on the development forum? It also stops me from voting cuz I find it very annoying.

There is no such thing as CM7.2 stable.. yet...

I personally prefer the ICS version from LC... but it's just me

for android aosp
-ZuluGen
-CM 7.1 stable
and android ICS (by testing)
-Virtuous Quadrant RC3
-ICS CM9 Alpha
-IceColdSandwich (now)

cyanogen all the way, installed miui for like 5 minutes, i thought i had an iphone so it freaked me out, and went back to cyanogen it has stability and performance like no other

I used every rom made so far. MIUI has always been the most stable.
So I go back to it after removing another rom.
Every rom has some bugs which drives me crazy.
I also dont like the iphone style but the other features of MIUI are awesome.
Just the notification bar toggles are even enough to choose it

if op is correct it works on all ics 4.0 based roms that arent miui.. a launcher works on stock or custom roms

yes working gr8 in ICS rom only , tested in Desire S and Xperia Neo V.

If you haven't tried MIUI yet I'd recommend it!
If nothing else just to get a feel for something other than sense, or stock ics
But while you're on it, why not try the real deal?
Right now they're into ICS (what a shocker!), but Desire S is still GB.
I don't think we will ever see an official ICS MIUI build to DS.
Not one coming from miuiandroid.com, that is... (thx proxuser!)

It's a tad old (20/4) but it works lika a charm! (way better than all the miui-ics roms i've tried)
Rumors tell me Xiaomi will realease one last GB rom but they haven't announced a date yet.

There is no good stable and nice mod for you But I'd recommend MPICS
As for other ROMs:
2.1 G-ROM f
2.2 Purumod 3.1
2.3.7 Stock CM7
4.1.1 Stock CMX(don't recommend it either)

[Q] Best ROM

Just wanted to know which Rom is the best for Pico!
Right now i'm using CM 9.1.

I have just upgraded from cm 9.1 #9 to build #10 which is just out. It works great and reports are that all the slight bugs are fixed! This is the rom and Liverpool-fan is the man.

Comparing ROMs without any criteria like UI or performance is not done

Just download a few and try them. Not everyone likes the same ROM...

No ROM is the best uptill now all sucks at something.... So if you want sense go for Jaggyjags's 4 something something, i cant remember names, for senseless cm 9.1 is good enough. That's my v limited experience till now havent tried JB yet, well wont really try it either.

If you want Stock gingerbread then go for Nextgen 1.5 and if you want something different then try CM9 build 10.

Iam using cm9 build 11 and its working perfect witn int2ext+ sript. Best rom for me.

Well I tried most of the CM9.1 builds, AOKP (except the latest build #6), CM 10 Beta #2 and Sense Based ROMS.
And I found Xperia ICS by ShadowCode very stable with most features working (also added PimpMyRom, really helps).
Right Now, I'm using Sense 4.0a ROM by derefas and modded by bulletproof. It's very smooth and fast except Bluetooth doesn't work.

Slim cyan is a better one. It is really smooth

ICS = Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.x) :silly:
JB = Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.x and 4.2.x)
Bloatware is unwanted software, which is preinstalled by manufacturer on stock ROM

Till now cyanogen 9.1 working smoothly..here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821582 . Just have some problems which can be ignored.

this thread is useless. Please go to dev section and read, then find what is best rom for you.

I'm not going to be doing this thread much longer because:
1. Very few people have PMed me like I asked at the top of the OP. Instead, most people are posting in the thread, requiring me to check the thread often. This was okay for awhile, but onto #2. 2. I have some major upcoming events in real life, so with those in addition to #1, I no longer have the time to maintain the thread. To anyone watching this thread, this fact is obvious; the thread hasn't been updated as often lately.
3. I don't use and haven't used a DHD or an I4G in over a year. I've been maintaining this thread since then, but it's probably time to give it to someone else.
As a result, if you are interested in maintaining the thread, post in the thread. If no one objects to your taking over, I'll PM you the markup "source," and we can have the mods un-sticky this one and sticky yours. We went through the same procedure when the thread went from inspiredbyhtc to me. If someone does object, we can talk about it. I'd prefer to hand the thread off to someone who's pretty well established and isn't going to cut and run.
If no one is interested, I will leave the thread as is, but I probably will update it very rarely. ​​
This is a stripped-down version of inspiredbyhtc's hard work.
PM me if stuff is wrong or missing.

inspiredbyhtc is getting a Galaxy Note 2 and doesn't have the time to maintain this one, so he asked the Ace Think Tank thread to take over this thread. I'm asking a mod to sticky this one and un-sticky the other.
So yes, I did in fact copy and paste the first post from the sticky. Or actually, from the "source" (including URL tags and such) that inspiredbyhtc PMed me and GuyInTheCorner.

Thanks for taking the time to maintain this, I will still have my DHD to play with so I will be using this list once in a while now that it will my second/dev/playing device.

I've had a list of Desire HD roms here for about 2 years now, if you didn't know about it.
It might help some of you out too.

In post number 3, the link for freq and voltage tweaks for aospx, jellytime etc leads to inspiremod .

But since the ROM is better than some more "popular" roms, it has to be degraded.
So, fine, put it in Sense 1.5 for what I care.
