[Q] Not sure if this is a dead pixel on my phone

I noticed a dot on my screen when I was writing a text message (on a white background) so I decided to investigate the issue further and checked to see how the small dot looked against various other colored backgrounds (cyan, red, yellow, black). What I noticed is that when the dot is against a black background it turns to white. When I turn my screen off the white dot is still there. Do pixels remain visible on the screen after the screen has been turned off, or are you only able to see them when the screen on?
I'm trying to determine if it's a dead pixel, stuck pixel, or dust under the screen and trying to figure out how to get rid of it.
Any help is appreciated.

Should be a stuck pixel as a dead pixel wouldn't light up at all (Dead as in you know - it doesn't work). Try pressing on it lightly to possibly get it unstuck.
Or it could be something dirty under the screen, heh.

Problem with the screen

I have a SGS1, the touch works well but there are gradient horizontal lines on the screen in the colors brown, blue and black.
Sometimes i see a little bit something (still with the lines), but then it turns again in to just gradient horizontal lines.
(The screen is not broken.)

Is there any mean to turn display black and white like for S5 supersaving?

getting red dots on the screen

getting these big red spots on the screen , just randomly happened over 2 hours
red dots disappear when the screen is white but when it is black or dark they dots become visible
does anyone have the same problem ?
is there a fix ?

Its the screen i think. Faulty pixels, they dissapear on white background. You should replace it.

White ghosting on black background on homtom ht6 phone

Just noticed some white horizontal ghost lines on my phone when their is a black background. Is there anyway of fixing this? It is an ips screen.
