[Q] usb doesnt recognized ?

hello friends..i have a problem installing rom in htc hd2.. when i connect phone with laptop using usb it charges the phone also mount usb working..but when i want to use usb flasher mode in magldr it doesnt started..i installed many roms as well as diffrent recovery using this method..it also charges the phone when i put it into plug directly..any idea what i have to do..please help..

I just flashed RemICS ROM v1.7 in my phone. Everything is working fine but there's a one problem MY PHONE WON'T CONNECT TO MY PC
Before flashing the ROM I was on stock 2.3.6 DDLF2. I used these instruction to root my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30336871&postcount=8
After rooting my device I had some problem with USB CONNECTION but then i just restarted my PC and it started working. But after flashing RemICS the phone won't connect to my pc. There is even no notification in my status bar like it came before. When I connect my phone to my laptop via USB cable there is no change in my phone it just starts charging.
I really love this ROM but I can't have it with this bug please help guys.
(ALSO ONE MORE THING: WHEN I FLASHED THIS ROM THERE WAS NO MUSIC PLAYER APP!! THIS IS STRANGE RIGHT? I THINK THERE MUST BE SOME WRONG WITH MY ZIP FILE. WILL RE-FLASHING WITH A NEW ZIP FILE SOLVE THIS TWO PROBLEMS?)

[Q] USB and Fastboot mode not work

Hi,
i have a big problem with htc one x.. This phone is without card storage stlot and not connect with usb cable to pc. I test more cable but any one not work with my phone. Device manager not see any new device.. i checked on 2 pc and 3 notebook :/. USB slot on motherboard its ok. I upload cyanogenmod 10.1 to phone using airdroid and flash this with ClockWorkMod..i dont remember gapps.. and this time when i power on phone.. i see com.android.phone .... error. and i dont can anymore options... dont upload any rom, any files to phone and i dont can this repair..
fastboot mode not work in any computers and any cable.
i try insert simcard with internet connection but phone not see services of provider..
can we help me please with my very big problem? ([phone has root and update to android 4.1.1 another guy ho have this phone after me)

[Q] USB port not working or is it working?

I have owned this HTC Desire S for more than two years now and it is time to retire it to some else in the family and get a new phone.
The problem is I'm running Cyanogenmod on it and the camera will probably not be good enough for the girl that I will give it to.
I want to remove this version of Cyanogenmod but the problem is that the USB port does not allow my computer to detect the phone when I try and flash roms and the like. I need to be able to do this since I have an unclocked bootloader but S-On (Or the other way, point is I need a PC to flash) The weird this is that although I am unable to switch to mass storage on a PC I can access the mass storage function on a TV using the same USB cable. I have been able to play all sorts of files but my computer just cannot read anything.
Does anyone have a clue what the problem could be?

What operating system is on your pc?
Have you tried different USB ports on the PC?

it may be ur custom rom fault to for eg . i encountered sam problem with pacman rom later i flashed SVHD Rom and problem solved

try OEM cable!
had o problem with samsung phones!
try to use an new original cable or old but make sure is not broken!
