if you are having any other launcher installed then you can go to Titanium backup and freeze it..

No you can't because in system/app there must be also another launcher (gingerbread) which isn't there (TOUCHWIZ) so you can remove it but you cant do anything if you have NO launcher only if you have installed another launcher.
I suggest you to try this launcher which has the same feeling like the GB launcher

Well I know many of you guys have complain about why Cyanogenmod Rc 1 has the Adw Launcher, some say they prefer Launcher Pro or Stock Froyo, I tried to install so many Launcher2.apk but none of them worked with the Evo till I found this one. after I installed this Launcher2apk , I deleted Adw Launcher and my phone has been working perfect, no FC , Nada!!

Go into the Root Explorer. Root Explorer to me is the easiest way.. After your in Root go to System- Apps- ADW Launcher.apk<------- DELETE THAT ONE!!!

thats exactly what I did!!
This may seem like a dumb question but what the heck does the stock froyo launcher look like lol. Can you post a screenshot? All I have experience with is the sense launcher and now the adw one that comes with CM6.

How did you tried to install it???
I found that just installing the Launcher2-1.apk and just say Yes when ut asks you to replace it will install. You might want to make a backup the ADWLauncher.apk from /system/app.
I have to to say the stock launcher seems to be snappy I like it.. The only draw back I might see is if you are looking to install one of the themes that are coming out. You might have a problem since they are themed with LauncherPro or ADWLauncher and not the stock Launcher.

naaa its working fine, actually i unistall the AWD LAUNCHER AND ALL THE APKS I dont like b4 installing the rom!!

The stock 2.2 launcher was already on the non rooted 2.2 leak
It wasnt on mine. The stock launcher was removed with the last update, the one before 2.2. If you clear defaults or use a home switcher app it is not there, unless you manually install this APK

It was removed but its back on the Froyo leak. You just did extra work ;-)

I've got the same phone as you do, running a JB ROM and I use the APEX-launcher. I tried several launcher but this one simply rocks :laugh:

If you want to install and run this launcher simply download it from Market and run it. When it starts you will see a menu with the option to choose which launcher you want to run.
You should try Nova Launcher (JB Beta) too.

I am also using Nova Launcher on a phone running a JB ROM. It works great.
I want to remove TWlauncher from my SGN. Is there any possibility to do this? On GB roms Titanium Backup works perfectly, but I have problems on ICS- TB deleting TWlauncher, but after reboot it's still on my Note.

Download an alternative launcher (Nova is an excellent option). Set it as "Default" in Nova Settings.
You will still have TW Launcher but Nova will now be the main default launcher on your Note.
I hope this helps. Please hit THANKS if it did.
NB - if you are using an alternative launcher and want the TW Launcher removed, sometimes you need to go into Manage Apps and Disable the TW Launcher. From there, use TB or Rom Toolbox to remove. it should be "grayed out" in your App List.

JUST FLASH THIS THROUGH ANY CUSTOM RECOVERY AND YOU WILL GET ICS TANSITION ANIMATION WHICH IS SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH LIKE HELL

First you need to be on DEODEXED ROM,
reboot to recovery, make nandroid backup and Flash .zip..

maybe a stupid question: i assume this is only true in case you are with stock launcher, won't have any affect lets say on apex, right?
apex has it's own animations
this is for stock launcher or any launcher with uses system animations
i think in apex there is an option to use system animation ..if yes ...this should work with you

Just intalled on MiniTab Note 10.1 port rom and it works perfect. I always used this transition with Nova and have missed it in TW launcher.

Is it possible to get touchwiz ux on cm10.1? A themed nova launcher is just not the same. Is it possible or could someone upload the link
I dont know if it will work,but try moving the touchwiz launcher from stock JB to the zip with the SGS3 or SGS4 launcher,and replace the launcher with the tablet version(one from our stock JB),and flash.
Those zips have compatibility files,but have a bad resolution launcher,so by putting the stock Launcher from our tab,you are flashing the tablet version of the S3 launcher instead of the phone one(bad one)
