A lightweight rom based on ICS/CM9 source code, only the most necessary things are implemented.
It contains some functions from AOKP/CM9, like overclocking functions and lockscreen shortcuts.
More functions and own theme to be added,
For posts not related to development please use this thread.
A big thanks for Mastershefis for working on the logo etc.

Will GApps be implemented ?
(And i agree we need a minimalistic rom for ics, nothing like Talk, file manager... i have to remove them after each flash)
No gapps in rom as it is not allowed.
Cant wait to test rom, good job man. I dont know why people vote so low
just the rom i was waiting for. thanks a lot arjen

Are you using aosp as base or cm9?
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk 2
Started with cm9 as base. Will alter more in time I guess
Making a list know withs repo's to clone and alter LOL
Saves me a lot of space on Github.
Will release a build at the beginning of the week, need to fix a few things before release
So this rom is just a minimalistic form of another aosp and cm9 rom...are there any more specifics for this rom...bug fixes ?

he just said this rom was based on ics source code and cm9...
if editting the nav bar is not in cm9 or ics source code then why do you think it will b e added here
this rom is for people like me who just want quick fast light ics that has nothing extra just ics
arjen: so this rom would be kind of like asop ics feature wise?

Thanks to evilisto, I just applied his patch from his Nexus S to our files and it´s working great!

Okay, i create theme for my mods )
@Fuss, I have reloaded ICS on my mobile and when i update with this zip the reoaded ICS settings are wiped off as both of it carry SystemUI.apk. Will it be possible to integrate both the apk in one.
@fuss, I have three requests:
1. Can you please update your cm9 rom with this multitasking enhancement.
2. Can you make flashing INFINITUM idiot proof single step flash (without alpha2)?
3. Can you put a clean wipe script in rom installer (making it idiot proof).
Thanks for your work!!

Me too. Sense 4.0 is absolutely great...
Enviado desde mi GT-I9003 usando Tapatalk
Sense 4.0 is the best ui till now . Can't say future because Galaxy S3 can be better.
Description:
I spent much time learning C to realize that.
Currently, only the UI works and the features needs to be reintegrated.
The goal is to get a bootmenu with an better and (in future) touch operated UI.
Everything is Android4-oriented and this fits the needs of a bootmenu really good!
Currently I have problems with the font which doesn't looks very well.
Maybe someone which has knowledge with bitmap-fonts can help me with this problem

m11kkaa!!
as long as it's bug free and it does what it does, I don't think anyone would complain about the fonts!
can you post the zips so we could test it?
As I already wrote in the OP it's not ready for usage yet.
It's just the UI which works. I'll keep you updated.
Definitely going in a very good direction..
Touch Recovery; touch bootmenu its amazing whats going on here!
Just want to let you know, that there's still much progress with this project
Touch is working and the future-plans are that this mod will replace multiboot completely.
Here is the github-repo: https://github.com/M1cha/android_external_bootmenu
Thanks for sharing. I assume the bootmenu can not be compiled without a cyanogen branch (e.g. Quarx's or Epsylon3's CM7/9 branch). Am I right?
That's right but maybe I can make a flashable zip which let's you start new bootmenu via 2nd-boot/2nd-system just for testing/preview-purposes.
But this would kill multiboot.
That will be perfect. I will gladly test it. Atm I don't have enough space to download and compile the entire cm repository.

WooHoo!!! I going to compile a build later with this after i finish trying to port gummy rom ..... M11kkaa Thanks for your work and making this possible luckily i don't use multiboot since i don't have enough memory on my SD card
So, here it is. A precompiled test-version of the new bootmenu.
It updates your bootmenu(to 1.8.8) and installs TouchBootmenu as 2nd-System.
The update-package is based on the one from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24573782&postcount=605
Happy testing!
PS: added new Screenshot to first post
ive the commit rights for bootmenu cyanogenmod branch, and only the defy officially use it in cm devices.... some others unofficially (moto devices only i think)
I will check your commits to see if i can merge them
