I use Picasa much to save my pictures, and I have a problem with the S3 :
My sync is functional because my Picasa albums appear.
But, when I want to upload one or more photos, I can't select the destination album.
And if I try to upload it anyway, I have a message like "unable to retrieve account information".
I had many android phones, and never had this problem? Have you ever met this?
Bonus question: under ICS and its new photo album, Picasa photo files do not appear like the Picasa website (cover photo, album order ...). Do you know how to manage the display order of albums in the gallery? and choose a cover photo? thank you

I am looking for an app for birders. What I need/would like for it to do is attach notes, audio and geotag to a photo, and if it would pull weather data and attach to the photo that would be icing on the cake. I would like for it to store the photos to a folder named by the date the photo was taken. Finally it would be nice if it had an easy interaction with google earth/maps where I could view the photos by date/location. Probably to specfic but who knows.
So anything like that?
Except for audio and weather, you can just take a normal photo and upload it to picasa.
Does anyone know how to change the picture quality of contact photos from the facebook app? The pictures from friend stream are nice and crisp where the facebook app ones are grainy. I've attached 2 screen captures to show the different quality
Then only show the contacts from the friend stream.

for some reasonwhen i flash a new rom those pics are grainy for a couple days then they switch to hq. not sure why
I uploaded all my pictures to Picasa which i think is googles cloud service for pictures (correct me if im wrong) and i have like 167 things i uploaded. Well i wiped my sd card so i have no pictures but when i go to gallery i have 76 photos labeled dropbox. I was wondering if that is different than picasa, or if its just another name for it cause it does have the picasa symbol on it. Also how can i get all my other pictures and videos to stream to my phone so that I have them. Thanks
Ok so I can't seem to find an answer about this. With automatic sync for camera -> Dropbox, dropbox automatically seems to create an album for you. On the left side on the dropbox website there's a link called "Photos" which is all the photos you've ever uploaded from your camera. I separate my photos after being uploaded into different albums (private relationship photos in its own folder for example), however, regardless of moving the location of an image after its uploaded it ALWAYS stays in this album, which unfortunetly is synced on the phone.
My worry is someone I show my phone to could simply click Albums from the Gallery app, hit dropbox, and immediately see any of my private photos.
Is there any way to move photos OUT of this gallery? Or stop the gallery from showing up on the phone? You can delete an image from this gallery on the website, but then it deletes it from your dropbox entirely.
Any way to view your Picasa albums in the HTC gallery app? I know G+ lets you auto upload them, but I want to be able to see them along with all of my local photos. Going to try to find the stock ICS gallery and see if it will sync.
Edit: can't get the gapps gallery to work, but the market app aosp gallery 3d does sync, so close enough for me
