Is this 1.85 base and 1.85 Kernel then? If I wanna try this out and I'm running CleanROM 2.5.5 with 1.88 kernel and 1.88 base, can I just wipe and flash this in recovery ?

dloading now will report back with results. Great to see more Devs over here. Thanks for the Rom! Hopefully this landscape mode wont have the same lag as clean rom with landscape. If so, do we just use stock rosie to replace it?

It has the 1.82 kernel and i would do a FULL wipe then install over 1.88.
I will update the base soon but this has been running good for me so i won't fix it if it isn't broke lol.

Thanks, any pics ?

I'll see if I can find a link. It changes those ugly low res looking backgrounds (like in TiBu) so that they are smooth and seamless.

Any HTClinkify mods?

Thanks. Its good to see more devs getting involved.

Ok someone try this. Go in to settings and then hit home. Does it go directly home or do you get the loading screen for a few seconds? just did a wipe and install of this and the OPS cpu tool, titanium backup(did not restore anything yet) and nothing else. Re booted and still loads when i hit home from settings. I'm coming from 1.88 ruu so please advise what base you were on before this rom. Thanks

This happened to me once on another rom i had to wipe everything including data and reflashed and it fixed it. I didn't get that with this rom, anyone else ?

Thank you!!! Sweet!!! Good to see some more development!!!

Ok, I have a few questions. If I'm on stock 1.82 can I just flash via cwm? Should I wipe storage, dalvik and all that then flash? And lastly I saw in the screen shot this rom has the battery %, is there any way to disable this? Sorry for all the noobish questions but coming from my brute of an atrix where I wouldn't hesitate to flash anything, flashing things on the one X seems a bit finicky. I suppose that's what comes with having I actually care about rather than a toy to flash each and every rom under the sun

I'm placing this note here so everyone can see it: IF YOU DOWNLOAD MY ROM VIA Rom Manager that is fine, BUT do not allow or use Rom Manager to install it, once the download is complete just reboot your phone into recovery and then do the full wipe and then choose install from sdcard, browse out to where Rom Manager stores its downloads and choose the rom there. Apparently Rom Manager has some issues with installing Roms although I have never had a problem with it at all.

What is clockwork recovery and how to use it
If you are having problems installing my ROM's try the steps below, this should get you up and going.
1. Reboot into recovery and do a "Wipe data/Factory reset"
2. Go to the Mounts menu item and choose to format system, data and cache
3. Choose "Install Update from sdcard", browse to where you stored my ROM and select it.
4. REMEMBER!! if you are coming from any other dev's ROM you must do a full wipe including the data partition before installing my ROM. You must also have ext4 recovery 3.0.26 or above. DO Not flash the NoSense rom over the top of the Sense rom do a wipe first.

Yes this is the sense 3.0 components however the software info in the phone incorrectly reports 2.1, this is because not all of the sense 3.0 environment has or to my knowlege can be ported over .
I'll be posting 3.0.4 sometime tomorrow I have a few minor glitches to work out and am looking into a different kernel as well. I'll post more with the change log when I can.
Looking forward to it

so why choose the mik's kernel instead of franco's or fserve's latest version?

well, currently on fserve's latest goldenleaf release. just wanna know if there is any advantage in using mik's kernel. i guess mik switched to franco's v18 in his cm7 rom.
v19 and above of francos kernel include the new drivers from the .35 kernel. It's recommended that you use the latest CFS version of francos .32 kernel.
Well I mean this shouldn't escalate into anything and regardless what he said/thought I'm going to try this rom and use as daily driver if its as good as it sounds my only question is can you make a themed version without the battery percentage? Honestly I like seeing my phone at 100% and not full battery but 96% drives me crazy haha will report back on how the flash went

All the tweaks such as installers for Data2SD, USB Host Mode Functionality, and custom kernels can be downloaded from the Supreme Tweaks app, and installed by recovery.
INFO ABOUT DATA2SD - IMPORTANT!
First of all, wiping Cache or Dalvik Cache will cause the system not to boot anymore, because it causes some issues with Data2SD for some reason.
When using Data2SD, there are 2 scenarios, and you have to follow them like this:
Installing a fresh Supreme with Data2SD: install the ROM > reboot once to get in Android > download the Data2SD Installer from Supreme Tweaks > reboot in recovery > flash the Data2SD Installer (it's in /download, where all downloads get) > reboot again.
Installing an update of Supreme: get the ReInstaller of Data2SD from Supreme Tweaks and download it > reboot in recovery > flash the new ZIP of Supreme > flash the ZIP of Data2SD ReInstaller (no reboot between the ROM and the Data2SD ReInstaller here!) > reboot.
INFO ABOUT AD2SDX - IMPORTANT!
After a flash of an update, you have to install the ZIP of the AD2SDX Installer again.
V1.2:
-UI rendered by GPU
-More efficient powersaving when screen is locked
-Scrolling should be smoother
-Performance Tuning enabled
-HW Acceleration gets forced a bit more often when it's possible, so it should be more efficient with the battery
-Optimized Video Streaming, should be smoother now
-Image quality set higher (JPEGs should have maximum quality now, but to make your wallpaper crystal clear, use an app such as JustPictures to set your wallpaper)
-Removed wallpapers from the launcher (saving 13MB), they're extracted to SD-card/Wallpapers/ now.
-Removed all ringtones except the default one, all others are moved to SD-card/Ringtones/ now.
-ROM should fit in Oxygen r2 HBOOT now (not tested though)(this means this ROM supports every HBOOT out there now)
-Replaced fonts with ICS ones (except the lockscreen clock, it's kept to Psuedo Helvetica)
-Changed bootanimation
V1.1:
-Added missing framework and permission files, WhatsApp works fine now!
V1.0:
-Initial Release
I already thanked them in the banner, but once again now, because they are just awesome:
Sibere for his great Data2SD script
DroidZone for making an installer ZIP for that script by Sibere
The CyanogenMod Team for being awesome and releasing great ROMs
EViollet for his ManU Kernel
Tiamat for his Tiamat Kernel
Tristan202 for his Thalamus Kernel
The people who worked on USB Host Functionality because of what I just said
You for being a part of this great community
Awesome... Could you please post more screenshots?
Oh yeah, sorry, uploading them now, give me 1 minute
does whatsapp really doesnt work ?
I know, it's a bummer... I tried installing the APK manually, but no success at that either. It's actually the only thing that is a con of this ROM, but it will need some investigation to find it out. Working on it atm
Edit: I think it's Provision.apk that's missing... testing it now.
Would be cool if you can fix it, i like the rom so far
Did u forget to mention which hboot this rom is for.
And what scize of sd-ext do we need for this to work?
Sorry for being so curious

Stock or CM7r2 HBOOT and 1024mb ext4 for data2sd
1.1 is available, I think Whatsapp is working now (testing in 5 minutes)
Nice ROM, now go port msm-3.0
Kinda hard to do that on my own...a few more kernel developers to get help from would be great ;p
Downloading right now. Looks good!
USB host mode on Desire? Wow! I'd give this a go if it still had the 720p video recording
Well, as far as I know, it only works on Sense ROMs...but if anyone wants to proof the opposite, go ahead and don't hesitate to send a link for info about this subject, and I'll see what I can do!
Hey man,
first of all, nice rom - thank you.
I installed it intending to try out data2sd (I haven't used this for a while) but it was laggy in places and market downloads took forever - I'm sure that this is down to my sd card not the ROM.
Anyway, I want to use a2sd+ instead and I see that there's an option to get simpe2ext (I've never use this) so I wondered whether any a2sd+ scripting is included in the ROM and can be enabled using terminal emulator etc?
Many thanks
wildcardspv
A2SD+? I recommend you to use Darktemors A2SD then. Google for Darktremor 2.7.5.3 and you should find it (it's in the N1 section, but it works fine on Desire too). Flash the ZIP through recovery, and use Terminal Emulator to use:
a2sd install (for apps)
a2sd cachesd (for Dalvik cache)
a2sd datasd (for appdata)
I'll add that A2SD script to Supreme Tweaks soon.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Thanks for confirming man, I'll look for it no problem, but including it in the tweaks app would be a great idea

Works fine with Amarullz XD2SDX script. Fast and has low RAM footprint! Well done and keep it up! Currently using Nemus Launcher as I hate ADW with a passion!
USB Host
this looks like an interesting rom....
XA2SDX ???? thats very cool..
but how does the usb host functioning work????
anyone tried it yet??
it requires external power supply for USB????
and camera working properly???

Good to know man, but when should the script be flashed? Immediately after the from or boot into android once first etc?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
EDIT:
Never mind - sorted it now as Amarullz own info about the script states to flash it immediately after the ROM - I now have all my apps reinstalled and about 830Mb free space left
I noticed there is no music app included in this ROM, so I pulled this from Oxygen, using root explorer I put it into system\app, rebooted, went back to system\app, installed it then changed its permissions to rw-r--r-- and it works fine. All these steps may not have been necessary but this worked for me.

I started this rom from scratch. I did mods 1 by 1 to ensure nothing conflicted with the stock UCLA3 base.
Bloatware Notes:
I went through every apk file one by one. This version has a few more things than 2.x did, at the same time I found more things I could remove.

I will put up v1.1 soon & screenshots of what this lite weight rom looks like.
v1.1 changes: Less Bloat & Added TitaniumBackup
What do you guys want to see in version 1.2? I really wanted to make a lite weight rom with the newest kernel. Something that was simple & fast. Creating this so far was pretty easy.
Let me know what you guys want, I will try to make it

Are kernel changes possible or just rom changes? If kernel, I'd like to see USB-OTG Hosting enabled so our SRs can recognize a USB flash drive and be able to read/write/transfer files. I think it involves changing a flag to "Y", but requires the kernel to be decompiled/recompiled which is above my pay grade!
rom updated to 1.1.. screenshots posted
just Rom updates right now, no kernel stuff.
I will work on a toggle mod and adding perm battery icon so its in one ROM. Once i figure this out i should be able to add anything i want.
Looks good, I'll give it a shot.
Does this ROM's TW include 5 docks or 4?

I loaded this up last night. I was running SilverRom..
I wiped data, cache & dalvik
I did not format system
Flashed rom
Restored 19 user apps & data with TB
So far so good, seems very responsive, I use ADW launcher and it plays together very well. Battery seems much improved so far. I had 48% when I went to bed at 11 last night and still had 44 at 730AM!
I prefer minimal roms, so I can add what I WANT
Thanks for your effort!
The 14 toggle mod would be nice.
BTW...I'm on Straight Talk and I get 4G around 6-7mb, 24mb wifi, video camera works great, no bloat, me likey!

Kinda stuck, maybe you can help..
When I deodexed the ROM so i could add 14 toggle mod, I loose Market and APN settings and get no data. It happens after the deodexed and not even adding the toggle mod app/framework to the rom.
I also cant figure out how to get of that ATT Ready2GO crap

I got rid of all my ATT bloat by either just uninstalling from app manager or remounting /system as rw and deleting them from /system/app. I was able to get rid of all of the remaining ATT bloat. I did start from the rom and radio from cdshepherd's thread (1509978). Can't remember if I had to remove R2GO or if it was already removed. Anyhow most were removed when I remounted /system rw. I think there were only 2 that I was able to straight uninstall from app manager.
your not using android kitchen to make the rom?

Hey guys this is my first public showing so please be easy on me. This Rom is based off the latest CM and has been highly optimized for speed and stability. I have not done any theming to this rom as Theme chooser combined with the ADW launcher offer a vast array of themes for you to choose from. I have spent countless hours trying to discern the best combinations of Oom settings, low mem values, cache pressure, heap size and many other tweaks and optimizations. I opted to include as many of these settings/values into the actual boot.img's ram disk in the init.rc & init.supersonic.rc, rather than through init.d. I feel there is benefit in having pre-existing parameters rather than relying on a script to hack in the tweaks.
This ROM is for all the people who love aosp but may not have the ability or know how to mod and tweak themselves. I designed this to have the best "out of the box performance" available for our device, while retaining functionality and reliability. Satisfaction Guaranteed or your money back.

Additional screens/settings
Please feel free to let me know what you think, any problems you may encounter, or requests that you may have.
For optimum user experience and an incredibly snappy interface please do the following with your rom set up.
Set SD read ahead as mentioned in OP.
In "Spare Parts" turn both "Window & Transition animations" to fast, or even better, off completely.
In ADW settings/Screen Preferences/Desktop scrolling speed/ set to 0 (zero).
Performing these steps will drastically speed up the ui with this adw launcher.
Additional screens
My personal gaming settings by request-
1) Kill any other background app before gaming.
2) Clear cache (I use system tuner for both the above)
3) Ensure SD read ahead is set to 4096 (This should be done regardless, sorry will fix next release)
4) In settings/cyanogen settings/performance/cpu settings/set min cpu to 1036 max to 1152 governor to performance DO NOT check set at boot
5) play game
Now for quads things are a bit different. Let me start off by saying that in real world day to day use, quads mean absolutely nothing and are in no way a representation of a quality user experience for a given rom. I use quadrant standard to test different tweaks I have made. I do this in a very controlled way. Make all runs on a fresh install having only signed in to google account and cancel sync manually through settings/accounts & sync. All the parameters for gaming settings above are used, in addition go to settings/cyanogen settings/ uncheck "surface dithering" (this helps 2D frame rates), check "Use 16 bit transparency" (this will help 3D performance.. minutely), reboot. Allow device to rest for 30 minutes, reboot phone, allow 30 more minutes at rest with screen off. Run quadrant standard, five runs back to back recording score for each, then average those numbers. Close app, 30 minute rest, repeat, this is done five times, I then average all my "averaged" scores. Currently on the rom available for download in op my running average with these steps is 1640.
I have found that with out fail my phone, hw 0004, will ALWAYS have the best score on my fourth run. Unless I make more than 5 runs then number 7 is king. The screenshot in the op is from a seventh run.
Nice! Sounds like a great rom. Welcome to Dev land!

Actually, no COD is not baked in, nor are any init.d scripts other than dta2sd. Feel free mod and tweak at will. I also did not include any of Papa's build.prop tweaks. I'm pretty sure that his script checks for repetitions and corrects, so you would be safe there as well. You ought to run it stock for a bit before you determine what tweeks to incorporate. It may pleasantly surprise you.
