The Perfect Notes App With Widget

where are the note apps with 4x4 widgets to browse notes?
all i need in the app / widget:-
syncs to the cloud (pref google docs, evernote, simplenote)
has a large (4x4) widget that i can view a notes list and individual notes, edit, and add new
and that's it, would be like to have a nice UI, check boxes, images, links, but plaintext would do

the closest i have found is springpad, has sync and a 4x4 widget, but the widget doesn't allow a notes view, just a ist view..

Hi guys, is everything OK with the recent JB update? Some feedback would be appreciated!

Works great on my EVO 4G running gingerbread. No bugs or crashes. I do have a few feature requests:
- Grab the styling of the element. Probably would require it to be compiled as an image.
- Select multiple elements if they will fit.

[LWP][2.1+] MC-Photo Live Wallpaper - Nov 23 2012

I developed an alternative to hugely popular Multipicture Live Wallpaper application. It is more simple to use with fewer customization options but with some added features too.
This Live Wallpaper displays photos downloaded from popular 500px photography site. You can also use your local albums.
Photos can be displayed in following ways:
■ Multipicture - different photo for every screen
■ Collage - several photos arranged in a collage
■ Classic - one photo across all screens
Photos can be selected by several criteria:
■ 500px category
■ User tags
■ Current weather at your location
■ Color
■ Local albums
There are many customization options: change interval, minimal 500px rating, gap size, borders toggle...
If you leave double tap enabled you have a quick way to access preferences, immediately change photos and view or share the photo on which you tapped.

■ Current weather at your location
■ Color

There are many customization options for each selection.
Choose actions for double-tap and two-finger tap:
■ Change photo
■ Change all photos
■ View photo in full screen
■ Bring up options dialog with more quick functions: change fit mode, share photo, open preferences dialog...
MC-Photo is also an application so same options dialog can be started through it's application icon.
'Static' setting - turn this Live Wallpaper into static wallpaper changer and get maximum possible swiping performance! (Works for collage and classic modes.)
***Warning: in this mode double-tap no longer works and you cannot view or share photos from the application.

And one question: is it considered a bad practice to also have an application icon for Live Wallpaper? Starting it brings up dialog with most useful options regarding LWP functionality - it's quicker than going through several screens (depends on launcher) to get to particular LWP preferences. And it is known fact that inexperienced users don't get that any Live Wallpaper app doesn't live trace inside Applications drawer by default and it has to be accessed through Live Wallpaper Chooser app. So I thought it would be beneficial to register LWP also as an regular App but I got an angry comment about removing it from app drawer anyway... What gives?

Since my last post I added a lot of functionality:
Dayframe - start a slideshow of downloaded and cached photos
Integrated Photo Widget - re-sizable widget with captions, dedicated actions and save settings functionality.
Filters - Simple and fast photo filters that can give photos on wallpaper or widget special tone which can help to harmonize entire home screen.
Also many other updates and improvements.

Hi again,
Since last update Google removed my app from Play Store so I had to upload it with different id: com.cloudwalk.lwp
Notable update is inclusion of Google Earth imagery as a new photo source. Photos are fantastic - you probably saw some of them because they are used in official Android Marshmallow.

Wow this really a great live wallpaper alternative to muzei with even more options the app works great for now all missing is a decent UI But i when close the app from recent apps it unchecks the static WP option

Thanks for kind words.
I'll have to check about that 'static' option. It's been long since I implemented this and not many people seem to use it anymore so I don't get much feedback.
Be sure to explore all options, there should be something for everyone's taste. It also features a nice photo widget, also with many options an assignable actions.
What are your suggestions about UI? How it could be better? I presume you have something like Muzei in mind? Yes, it's nice and fancy but somehow when I was thinking of implementing some custom preferences screens it felt kind of pretentious. I was probably wrong not to do it...
Anyway, I don't think it would help much - I just cannot achieve virality effect although most people that stumble upon my app seem to be very happy with it. Ah, such is life...

Material design is good and it might attract more people / i choose static because i have widget which color changes with backround wallpaper so when i uncheck static it gives the colors of your icon and i want colors of the wallpaper

Who it's bad to rely on the only one weather source for information? - be course you don't see alternatives. Weather forecasts usually made by using of weather forecasts models. Different weather forecast sources (Weather Underground, Accuweather, National Weather Service and etc) use different forecasts models that produce sometimes completely different forecasts. The main idea of the application - provides best (by forecast statistics) available data in easy-to-use way and allows to customize application look.
Application features:
- Accurate weather forecasting by using generated forecast statistics (it's compare current weather with that was predicted)
- Contains multiple views for weather information, daily, hourly and extended weather information. Possibility to compare weather information from different weather data sources in a view.
- Home screen widgets. Common widget and stack widget (stack widget required android 3.0+).
- Supports millions of locations.
- Lot of options for customization (most of colors, fonts, icon themes, units of measure etc). All three feels-like types of temperatures supported.
- Lot of usefull and precize informations about weather, sun and moon. I used best available algoritms for all the information.
- Phone and tablet optimized (Android 2.1+ required).
- Weather ACE contains internal help, I working on homepage now.
- developed in the way to use less battery as possible.

It's mostly just a start. My current planing:
- weather graphs.
- support for plugins (weather icons, pictures, fonts, may be more). Possible even custom views (the application already have part of code for it).
- 3+ more new views.
- weather maps with offline support.
The application contains ads, but I see lot of special applications here that can help you with ads, so it's you decision - will you see the ads or not. :fingers-crossed: You can also just buy a version without of ads and helps me improve the application more.

Application seems stable for me. I have no crashes at all.

The application now #14 in "Top New Free" on Google Play for category "Weather" (was #15 several hours ago, so it grows). I see no ANRs/crashes in my google play developer console, so seems completely stable. Have lot of new installs today.
Please check, I hope it will suit your needs too. I would be grateful for any feedback (here or via mail) for to make the application better.

Menu is janky on my GPE One and I don't have the option to buy the ad free version. Is it available for all countries?

I have no such issue on 6 devices that I checked (2 tablets and 4 phones) and emulator that I used for testing.
PS. The problem fixed a week ago or so.

About of ad free version: google don't not allow my country to put paid apps on google play market. So I posted it on amazon, currently it still in review there. I will inform you via forum mail (and in the thread) if you are interested.

Google Play updated to version 1.1.0.
There are lot of new interesting features from first version:
- added weather charts with lot of customization options. 2 types of charts, 3 styles, colors and more.
- added one more weather source - Yahoo. So, it's easy now to compare up to 4 weather sources.
- added new weather icon theme.
- 4x1 widget now can be resized, supported 1x1, 2x1, 4x1, 5x1. But it's not all - 1x1 widget have 3 types (current, today, tomorrow) and can be changed on fly. The widget can be set as transparent and it possible to change all colors of the widget.
- lot of small improvements and fixes.
Current planing: will add one more widget - 2x2, transparent, with lot of customization options - layout, fonts, colors (all independent from other widget settings).

In it's latest vrrsion it is outstanding. My very favorite weather app. Using its plug-in for Tasker is icing on the cake

I love this app, will there be more updates or no more support for this great app? I really like thats its so customizeable and i can change design to match my homescreen, even colors and weather icons. I find that radar and maps are missing areas sometimes, sometimes theres a lot of gray rectangles without any data. I want to display hourly weather from app with Tasker plugin in KWGT, how to do it and it is possible? How to create apk with weather icons?

Ya....this is the best Weather App out there. Love it. Nothing else like it around.

I've read everywhere that this weather app is supposed one of the best ones but it seems that many people (myself included) are experiencing a problem that prevents it to start (at least on Nougat). The app immediately crashes miserably as soon as is started.
The play store review section is now full of reviews where people is complaining because of that.
Do you guys know if the developer is aware of it, or did it abandon the development?
