Im actually trying to install the CM7 for x10 mini pro with the phone specs above
the problem is im not sure if my phone is capable of doing it...
Can anybody enlighten me please?
Will this update my android version? from 2.1 to 2.++ or higher?
or should i find the CMVersion for my android version so it will match?

Cm7 is based on 2.3.x so yes it will upgrade, you can also try cm6 wixh are based on 2.2.x but cm7 is faster and better in my experience.
Read the rom page carefully and the instalation instructions, most cm7 roms will require the latest stock version from sony, plug the phone into seus or ericcson pc companion, update to latest version, then download and flash the rom.

Btw, you will need root and a recovery installed to flash rom, you can find all the info in the mini pro development forum.

I just bought a new chinese phone named: Star A9300
The specs of the phone:

- Processor 1GHZ
- 512mb RAM
- Android 2.3.6
- Dual sim
- Inside the phone,(about phone) Model number: HTC Thunderbolt 4G
- Baseband version: MAUI.11AMD.W11.37.SP.v17
- Kernel version: 2.6.35.7
- Build number: ALPS.GB.FDD2.MP.v4.5
I looked all around the internet but i could not find what i looked for this specific phone. All i want is that i can boot into recovery and install custom roms to my phone. I looked around xda forums, found some interesting threads but nothing works with this phone. If i just had an good tutorial for how to set up recovery and then install the roms and wich roms are compatibel with this phone. If someone could explain all this to me i would get it rolling... but thats nowhere to find. PLS help me out.. plss

[Q] Upgrading Galaxy 8.9 P7320T ??????

This is my 1st post so I ask fotr a little lattitude.
I am also a newbie to the "phablet" arena.
I have a fantastic little device which I find so useful but would like to improve some of its efficiencies and this is where I need some help as I am not confident in seeing anything coming from Samsung or Telstra.
1. can the OS be upgraded to Android 4.1 or 4.2 ?
if it can - will I lose any functionality
if it can - what are the specific steps/procedures and software ?
2. can I remove the installed bloatware
3. can telephony be enabled in 3.2 or 4.1/4.2

[Q] Razr Maxx HD Build Update

I have the XT926 in India and i am trying to use the phone here, Though Verizon claims it is a global phone i cant get it to work here on the current version of the software .
System version : 9.16.6XT926.version.en.US
Android Version : 4.1.2
Kernel Version : 3.0.31 -ge491d6d
Build Number : 9.8.1Q-62 _VQW_MR-2
Under this current build the phone doent seem to work . After much looking around some people claim their phone works perfectly fine in India . On enquiring their version of the software it is
System Version: 9.18.79.XT926.Verizon.en.US
Android Version: 4.1.2
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-g101ca72
Build Number: 9.8.1Q-79
As per the Verizon website 9.16.6XT926.version.en.US is the official software update , On the web however there is some chatter as to how Verizon had at some point launched two updated and the second is no longer available .
Can someone please assist on how i can upgrate to the 9.8.1Q-79 build no from the current version . i have tried to look around cant find a downloadable file of that build anywhere .
