I'm getting pretty tired of this and figured I'd ask if others have the same problem.
My NS keeps losing playback position (either just the timer or that the track is playing at all) with Google Play Music and Vanilla Music Player.
I never had this problem on GB, but it happens with every ICS ROM I've tried (BuglessBeast, CyanogenMod, AOKP).
Anyone?

is this still a problem in the cm7 based roms?? this killed me as i do a lot of driving while listening to both music and GPS navigation queues at the same time. i really miss the roms but can't be bothered if this is still an issue..
so.. is it?
thanks
Hello guys, I have a question. I used to be able to (in GB i believe) record video whilst playing music from my phone (ie Pandora running while recording) I've noticed that I have lost that functionality. Now when I record video, it seems that my notification/ringer volume becomes muted and raising it does not work. As soon as the recording stops, the volume returns to normal. Is there anyway around this or I am I doomed to no longer record my daughter dancing to music on my phone??
BTW, This is happening in all ICS/JB ROMs I have tried, i.e. PA, CM9 & 10, Unofficial KANG, Multiple Sense ROMS
Hi
Recently I got problem with choppy sound in music player after I lock screen. I don't know what could be issue because. I'm running stock ROM with, InfinityKernel. No matter which governor/scheduler I use effect is the same. Any help?
I listen to music from my N5 a lot.
Before I got my N5, I used PowerAmp. This is not possible anymore, because certain audio glitches happen every roughly 5 mins (sometimes more/less often). The audio glitches can best be described as a short sound (not longer then half a second) that is a mix of a pop and some sort of electrical noise, IN the headset. Basically, very difficult to describe but incredibly annoying nonetheless.
Anyhow, PowerAmp is not the only player that has this audio glitch. N7 Player has the exact same problem. Oddly enough, both Google Play Music and Rocket Player does not have this issue what so ever. I've only tested these four players, but as stated two of them has this issue.
Does anyone know why this happens? And even better, does anyone know of a possible fix?
What I know the problem is not:
A problem with the audio file itself. I can experience the glitch, rewind a few seconds and it's not there when I listen again. Also using Winamp on my desktop has 0 audio glitches.
A problem with the headset. Tried this on my SoundMagic E30's and Razer Tiamat 2.2, both get it.
A problem with the "OK Google" hotword detection, turning this off did nothing. (Suggestion from PowerAmp bug forums)
A problem with the kernel/ROM. I've experienced this with PA, PA+ElementalX, SlimKat and Slimkat+ElementalX. Also tried Franco and Linaro at some point. (All based on AOSP, so maybe it's a problem with that, I dunno)
Hi,
I'm having a strange issue with the Mi4C and the latest stable V7.0.15.0.LXKCNCI (MIUI7).
On my way to work I listen to music and MIUI seems to be overwhelmed with this mighty task.
With default settings, Poweramp cannot even play a single Mp3 without skipping/crackling noises about every 30seconds.
While this alone is annoying enough, the music playback just stops after about 30-40 minutes. The player still displays as if it were playing, but no sound comes out..
I've tried
- allow Poweramp to Autostart and keep background processes using the MIUI settings
- setting higher priority and buffering for playback directly in Poweramp
The latter seems to resolve the skipping part, but the sudden stops are still there.
I found several threads with similar but not identical problems, the most prominent being
http://en.miui.com/thread-77248-1-1.html
Can anyone confirm this behavior?
Any workarounds?
Thanks
Jochen

yes, i can confirm on mokee, but not always. dunno why
