Reverting back to 1.73 - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

If I'm unlocked and running a custom Rom, can I lock and flash the stock ruu?
Currently on clean Rom.

I would go with this option if you want stock.

I think the 1.73 ruu, wouldn't work due to software number being higher than 1.73. Since CleanROM is based off 1.8x. But I may be way off.

You can flash the AT&T (any) RUU. You need this for CleanRom.

Jb to ics

Is it possible to go back to a ics Rom from jellybean? If so what are the requirements and how?

If your boot loader is unlocked and you have recovery installed, its just a matter of flashing an ICS ROM. If you're completely stock, there's no way

S-on is not what causes you to do anything. It is the boot loader that you need to worry about. Without unlocking it, you can't do anything. If you are on the 3.18 firmware there is nothing you can do.

Son only matters if your super cid and intend to ruu.

Sounds like you have the tegra 3 one x. If your boot loader does not say Evita, you need to visit the international one x forums. At the type on HTC one x and choose the one that does not say AT&T

Att stock 4.1.1 unl bl kernel choices?

I have Att one x on stock 4.1.1 from the ruu. Running with unlocked bootloader, s on, and rooted. What kernals could I flash without changing Roms. I like the stability of the stock Rom.

I tried flashing a kernel or two on stock 3.17 and none were stable for me. But that was when s-off first came out and I didn't bother troubleshooting.

Do I need to upgrade my touchpanel?

As the title implies do I need to do this for the 3.4 kernel roms out there. I'm already s-off and ruu'd to the 3.18 a while back but I downgraded my touch screen for the aokp builds.

You'll probably need to ruu again for it to boot regardless.
Cm with 3.4 would not boot until I did a fresh ruu despite having ruud before running the rom I was running and having a 2.14 hboot

Cool, post what happens here please. I'm curious myself. When I flashed it. It was just out and you had to have a downgraded touchscreen.

Yeah. Tried sense 5 rom, cm 10.1,and jellybean viper all works, but not ics viper rom.
What carrier is your phone from?
It won't hurt to downgrade the ts firmware so give it a shot.

I think long time ago, hboot 2.14 does not supper ICS viperXL rom. so maybe downgrade is a good try if you want the ICS badly.
