I flashed this and finally got the language changed to english after navigating the chinese.
One thing right off the bat, after changing the language to english, that is not working is the keyboard. It does not pop up when i enter into a text field and when i try to go back into the language and keyboard system settings, I keep getting FC's...
EDIT: Reboot solved issue. Still some Miscellaneous Chinese text throughout, but not too bad.
Did I see front camera working? Is that correct?

I haven't flashed this yet (waiting until I get home from work) but I do believe judging from the "2.3.7" in the name that this is a GB build, not ICS, which is not necessarily a bad thing if everything works

Just flashed this and everything seem to be working .. its pretty fast and stable. But mms aint working for me. Maybe if i change the apn or something. I will report back later..

Since it's based on CM9, it'll have the same bugs. And I guess auto rotation doesn't work too.

Tested this rom earlier rotation is working on this..... It's a really good rom wish it was compiled from source it would be ever better

Thanks for confirming. Actually tngjs1230 kept on posting that auto rotation doesn't work so....
Anyway I'll try this later because I'm busy right now.

i wont say it is working properly .. but chrome does work sometimes for me
Buttons too bright chrome on green lens not working for me.

I can't install/restore some apps. I can't install them as. apk and I can't restore them via Titanium Backup. Installation was working on any other ROM I ever tried (miui, wiui, cm7, cm9,...). Anyone any ideas?

even i was amazed by that but hwa doesnt work perfectly..or may be i scrwed somewhr in settings ..
chrome worked for the first time and now it shows black screen
and guys this rom is the best ics built or ported rom for defy ... must try

yes mine is red lens .. flash the zip and froyo kernel if u are on gb built
Defy green lens user here. Couple of bugs I`ve faced with this ROM as follow:
- Chrome partially working; on this release I managed to see some new buttons of the Chrome`s menu that on Quarx nightly I haven`t; other than that, not loading any pages, not working
- Camcorder working but when I stopped recording I got FC; several trials same result
- Speed wise, nothing to mention here; in lign with Quarx 0305 release
- Every time I push the power button the phone restarts; very annoying
I went back to Quarx 0305 which is the most stable one in my case for the moment.
Absolutely amazing!
Beats any nightly yet.

Really good! Very smooth and have had no problems. Battery is very good as well.
One issue I've noticed is that the calendar widget is showing "No upcoming calendar events" but when I open the calendar app I can see all of my events properly.

i will be fixing all issues in next version. and in next version all icons will be cyanogenmod replicas. the core apps will stay the same tho its bassicly me just changing the icon but i have to decompile and re compile so it takes time. i have also got 4 other projects im working on so pleqase be very patient

oh i got a few things up my sleeve for this rom i am currently trying to get nearly all apps from aokp to work on this rom but dont count on all working as they are not for sense based rom but ill get as many as possible working

I would look at the changelog for specifics, but most importantly is the toolbox is working, so you can modify the signal display, clock, colors, carrier tag, etc...

Wow. Great surprise this night. Thanks for the update MIUI Marcusant. I've been on CM9 for a while and have been itching to do a clean wipe. Here it comes.
Is Camera app is still the old one? Camcorder does not work. Switching to Video FC the app. Missing reboot options. Messaging app has some (many) recomended phrases tthey are all in Chinese. Can not test SMS or MMS with anyone this late.

Obviously I did. And if languages were removed, it really should be mentioned.
I'm not even going to try again in another language if there's a chance it will work, since I don't speak any other language at all; I will not be able to understand a thing at all, so I just think whatever problem there is should be fixed.

No. It all ran thru fine. No fc at all until I tried to open dev options.

I tapped on English US. Everything else is history.
