Speaker Phone Problem - HTC One S

So this problem has happened to me on LeeDroids and BinDroid Rom. Whenever I activate my speakerphone the other person cannot hear me. I used to not have this problem before I rooted and when I was on th stock Rom.
Anyone know how to fix this or what might be causing this?

Have you tried another ROM to test this? Such as TrickDroid or MIUI or something? Just curious and we can start to pinpoint it from there

That video was great. Needs to be a sticky with the rules LOL. Maybe seeing will soak in more then reading.

Yeah, install the audio fix (its in the MOD section in the questions thread for the ROM)...
Or try flashing the recommended radio?
The stock radio flash might solve the problem, but the audion on that ROM is tinny when playing media, as well as speaker phone. I'm trying the fix now will update shortly.
update the fix works beautifully, and takes about 2 seconds to install. No need for stock radio unless desired.
I had the same thing and installed the audio fix. No need for a different radio.

It's rooted stock rom
Had this problem once or twice, occurring in both stock and custom rom (virtuous unity) usually occurs when calls durations are more than 15 minutes.

I have heard others complain of this problem when using stock and making long phone calls

try to reflash rom
I'm guessing it has something to do with the ram consumption during phone calls, as this happened when I tried to open another app right after a phone call... If I leave the phone for a while after ending a long conversation, this doesn't happen....

Dropped calls sometimes

I'm using ViperS 1.2.1. I can't answer calls after dragging the answer button from lockscreen but when I'm using my phone and it is unlocked, I can answer calls. How can I solve this problem?
It's best to post this in the Viper site.the developers need to know of the "bugs" also you will have a better chance of getting some help their as everyone is using the same Rom . Also someone else might have the same issue and know of a fix for this problem. I'm using viper myself and I suggest first to try and do a FRESH download of viper, then do a FULL wipe, then install the new download and see if issue is still present. I don't have that issue, on my viper , this is why I suggest trying this first .but please post this issue on viper site and see if there are other recommendations . It might help someone else with the same issue. I do hope this fixes your problem. I wish you the best !

have you tried to see if its loud on loud speaker could be a dodgy ear piece speaker
Loud speaker is ok. Headset is ok. I tried many roms. Reaper. Cm7. Official ics rooted. And few others. This happened when I installed fallout 5. The version before was fine. I tried to reinstall that but sound remains low. I even asked a colleague to listen...maybe I went deaf ...I guess I ll reinstall the stock Rom and send it to warranty..

Have you tried wiping everything? (every partition except sd ) And flashing some of the previous working (loud ) roms?
I did full wipe before each rom install.. nothing... , I use the phone with a bt hands free for the moment.
Have you tried different radio?
the volume is now normal , I have no idea what happened. I had to change the sim so I closed the phone changed the sim and after the sound was normal. I rebooted after each rom install but didn't tried to pull out the battery before.
And is gone... Today sound is low again no reason ...

could be just a bad signal? maybe you are worrying too much? happened to me as well, i thought it was the radio or rom, but it turns out my phone is fine. But if you do have ur warranty just go ahead and send for a check up, maybe your issue could be hardware related.
i repair phone and i think that the problem is the speaker

my device work very well
Same issue
I am having the same issue. Not able to search for any device or anyone can see me. When I turn on bluetooth it turns on but not finding anything. Taken it to a service center, he suggested to revert the OS to 2.3 and check (not sure how to revert back to 2.3) if that is still not working then he would replace the hardware. Please suggest, is there anything I can do to fix the issue from OS level.
Note: My phone not rooted and installed official RUU update4.0 from HTC dev.
I've fixed my Bluetooth I reflashed the ruu.
I now run custom Rom and it works perfect.
It's just software so try flashing ics again
Good luck and I hope it works for you

Which ROM did you install? I tried installing PACman and Viper ROM's but still the same issue. After multiple tries it will detect the bluetooth device but does not connect, now again if you try to search the same old story. Not sure if this is the hardware issue or software issue.

Tired different ROM's (Viper, JellyFirebean v2) some times it works and some time it does not. Seems to be some issue with the hardware will get it checked in Service center...may be later.
