Take a look at this link for more information and a video showing the features of the XDA-Developers Android App.
Please feel free to discuss the application in this thread. Note that the app was created by our friends at TapaTalk, so we have limited control over the timing on implementation of new features.
great app using it now will make navigating the site a lot easier, would cool to have skins, but great app just testing now

PROBLEM!
Hello
Firstly, great idea and well laid out. Like it a lot!
HOWEVER, the bookmark thread option aint there like the Favourites tab tells you to use when you go into a thread or sub menu or top level menu. Tried using the menu key for the additional options in each of the mentioned areas and can't find it anywhere!
Please sort as i want to use it as it's a great tool this app!!!
P.s. i'm using an HTC Desire with 2.1, latest firmware update.
Cheers!
This is a great app! One more idea.. Notifications for your subscribed threads.?

is there no way of actually getting tapatalk pro to read xda forums instead of having to have 2 apps installed?

+2 - I paid for the the Tapatalk Pro app to use with other forums and would be a real shame not to be able to pick up the XDA forums from the same app!
This is seriously awesome. It's about time we have a mobile friendly version of xda!

Awesome app!
However, I think we need ability to put forum topic as "Favorite".
For example: "HTC Desire General"
Right now, we have to scroll through list of topics to find our favorite topic
This feature alone is a must have!
Thanks TapaTalk!
Hello, my name is Andrew Dolan.
Until now I have used an application generator to create my application as I have practically no coding knowledge and no time to learn.
My application has received 5,500 downloads on the Play Store. However, I think that if my application were coded rather than being spat out by an application maker, the app could be very successful.
I'm not willing to discuss the nature of the application here.
If you are interested in helping me out, contact me at
[email protected]
and I'm sure we can figure something out.
Thank you very much.
What app did you make??
And are there app generatora

you can hire some developers to build the app..Lots of companies do provide resource hiring on per hour/day basis.
What app are you talking about?

Hi!
I think it is not right that XDA app is avaible only for Android. Can anyone make anything please?
You can always use the website

Yes, but this is a really valid forum. I think it should be accessible from all the devices as app!!
Hello XDA,
I was wondering what the best book or book series is for developing apps in android. I know basic java and c++ (not really revelant). I have intermediate knowledge of IDEs but none of actual development.
Any suggestions?
Thanks IE

I would definitely not trust that. Developer: andropenoffice.com. Go there it's some Asian website host ad. Please don't spread trash like this.

Looks like it was directly ported from Windows 98.
It's geek enough for me. I don't mind having a desktop interface, as long as it enables me to work with the real thing.
I still have to decide whether I prefer this one, or Libre/OpenOffice over Ubuntu over linuxonandroid.org

There are already plenty of great office apps and this one for now are far from enjoyable. Lets see will he improve it.
