hello xda-dev experts
I want to know, what will happen to my Xperia Mini (ST15i) if I flash it with stock ICS ROM, but I want to use stock GingerBread kernel (in short: ICS stock ROM + GingerBread stock kernel)?
Please don't tell me that I would never know if I never try it, I just don't want something bad happens to my Xperia Mini.
I know that there's no advantage of it, I just curious to know.
thanks

Hello Guys I want to ask you how to root my Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman Android 4.0.4? I want full procedure in brief step by step. Please do help me!!! I have searched a lot but can't get how to root Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman Android 4.0.4?
Anyone please help me!!! Please!!!
In my opinion, ICS is still new to most devices so there's no root yet for it.
I don't think so. So how can I root my phone then?
how about this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460 its the most updated so far.
it says for many phones but doesn't list SE Live With Walkman so, use at your own risk and good luck. ^^

I've managed to root my Wt19i(Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman) having the latest version of Android 4.0.4 but I have an unlocked bootloader using the information from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30465156#post30465156
I can give you assistance on unlocking the bootloader (using the testpoint method) if you're blocked. There are several threads on this forum describing how to do it. I will help you tomorrow when I'll be on my pc.

Hi there,
You're best bet is to flash back the correct kernel or completely reflash the firmware, I'd suggest asking about how to do that here:
