Look at this post«http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1210343», it works! But, I used this aplication « Swapper for Root
by Dario 'Azatoth' Lipariand» I think this do the job without the fastboot.

no, without fastboot, the only effect is placebo one
of course if you speak for this swapper for root:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.azasoft.free.swapper
however, the swapper for root, can use swap (if enabled in the kernel, hence fastboot needed) without special partition ...
there are some myths about swap and dedicated special partition.
true is that swap can be over regular file, and even then avoiding the filesystem overhead (hence, the need to create the file before to mkswap it )

Humm I think it works with out fastboot. And this is not a placebo effect. Just try it and you Will see a big amélioration.

can you post the output of
Code:
free
when it seems that there is effect ?
p.s.
Code:
adb shell free
can be used too

peshovec, the swap values are at 0. But, I feel like my phone gain speed... I dont know why normally there should be no amelioration because de fastboot is not there. What is comcache? There is a way to enable that? tel us if you know, thanks!

probably the root swaper changes some vm settings (which usually are different if swap is to be used, that without swap)..
about compcache, mio has excellent writing somewhere in the forum...
in short compcache compress some region of the memory, so you will gain slightly more ram, but a little bit slower, badly kernel with swap support is needed too

Fastboot with swapper 2 work.

I was wondering if theres a way to make the fastboot permanent?

That's not possible with Motorola's locked bootloader.

if we want them to unlock it we have to do it here?

[I9003] First attempt to get CWM running / boot image tools included

Hi Guys.
User "rb210" asked me to help porting CWM to I9003.
I've built it from sources and created a correct recovery.fstab with the partition layout of your device.
Since i'm not owning a I9003, i cannot do more for you. Sorry. :-(
Here are my tools to create a normalboot.img and a recovery.img based on stock kernel:
http://www.multiupload.com/5W80N6HOW2
Don't know if it's the right way, because it's very different compared to I9000.
CWM recovery binary is included at root/sbin and recovery/sbin folders.
Read teh README!
Good Luck
Thank you mate for helping us. It would be great, if it works on I9003. We appreciate your work for I9003. Hope now I9003 will have CWR running soon.
How do you proceed from here ?

Yes, download mode will still be available. I bricked my phone 3-4 times last night while testing the PDA tarballs codeworkx built. In the end he gave me this PDA to restore my phone to normal.

Restore the default image with the file I uploaded. Like I said, I tried some builds but I had to revert back to normal. This isn't working yet but it is a start.
I build from source a recovery.img that works... or so i think... now i'm gonna try with normalboot.img.. finger crossed
Can you provide brief explanation, how to compile this? Even I would like to try.

Please wait.... i compiled also normalboot.img in the same way but it doesn't work... maybe my recovery.img doesn't work.... so there's no need to explain you how to make mistake
Sorry repost.
I've done many tests, finally i can say that we must review the mkbootimg method.... if i unpack the stock kernel files and then i repack it doesnt work...

[GUIDE] Internal sdcard not writable? Fix..

Recently many users have been having issues with their internal sdcard not being writable, either due to flashing AOSP and then touchwiz or other reasons. This little guide will help you fix this issue.
Notes-
1. Read all the steps before attempting this
2. I have used this method to successfully fix my sdcard and make it usable
Prerequisites-
1. You will need root
2. You will need terminal emulator on your phone
3. You will need some reading skills and glasses if your eyes are weak..
Steps-
1. Open terminal emulator
2. Type "su"
Your screen should look like this
