[9001][ROM]MIUI transplanted Custom Rom (new version based on Gigabread+ final)

Here I bring MIUI transplantation on Custom ROM​.
It's developed on luffy MIUI rom as a base and update it with goodies,drivers and kernel to make the rom more stable and usable (from Gigabread+ final....thanks to texten).
The few features of this rom are as follows:

Please Note: To install themes properly you need to create 'theme' folder under /data/system/ directory. After this themes will apply correctly. Only you can use MIUI GB themes 'mtz' files.

I think you must add original miui camera and galery app instead of our i9001 camera app for better feel...

Because games lagging in our phone werent lagging on this rom
Asphalt files taken from sensation xl (qhd res.) were very laggy on even broodrom and ics.)
But this rom played it flawlessly this and every game...
And have a clean install
Full wipe
Rom install
Full wipe
Reboot phone to work
And read all things in first post...

at my phone it keeps rebooting on first boot, when you have to setup the phone.
I did a fresh install twice.

Is it possible to get the dialer, status bar and other miui apps and put them in an other rom?

The 3d is actually working in camera. When you take a picture with the setting "back camera" it shows in 3d. It doesn't work in the gallery though.

I have always heard that your Mokee ROM was one of the best for this phone, but when I got started on these forums it was older and buried. This looks great though I'm going to give it a shot today. Great choice on the 9-30 nightly, seems to be the most stable for me so far.
EDIT: Using it right now and so far its great. Flashing the themes package as I type this. Im really impressed. Thanks for your work.

Hey, I keep running into a problem with the camera. It force closes when it switches to the video camera and sometimes it will say cannot connect to camera on opening. I tried running a catlog but I'm not sure if it's complete but here it is. Thanks for your work defcomg!

1. this rom has working ril which the other one had a faulty one (no signal on boot)
2. this rom is based on cm10 beta3 which eliminated bugs from cm10beta1 and beta2

um if you are porting,try to port from an armv7 device,for performance improvements

its ok buddy if he wanted to make a different thread its his achievement and trust me doing something like this is a achievement at least for noobs like me more over galaxyfreak i believe that making a separate thread is easier to identify new roms for me coz if completely new versions keep coming in the same thread it becomes diffucult for a person like me to go through it and everything else plus the thread becomes clumsy ( personal opinions , no intention to hurt anyone's feelings here) i myt be lazy too
So i guess its fine mate don't wory and let him be ,

i have taken the phone.apk from him only
But the orig dev of this rom told me that even replacing phonesky.apk and telephony.apk is needed
so i asked if its working.......

No, I think it has something to do with the library.

I see, thanks for the answer But when I port Lezo and Shendu, the call works fine for me, but it doesn't work for other users.... does it only work for the porter, but not the user? :silly:

in that case use root explorer and manually transfer bootanimation and phone.apk
I will try to fix that

Actually you have to paste some smali in telephony folder which are required for mic.with the help of logcat you can find out that smali.for first time it worked but then it will not work,same happened with me.

Edit: bug fixed. I had to replace just mms.apk from another cm rom to this one

v2 with alpha 9 and bootani , telephony, phone bug fixed coming soon....
Sms app is going to be replaced back to another as the sms bug was due to the app
If you still wish to use that sms app, extract it from v1 and install handsent sms too
Then it works

report : Doesn't find my wifi connection and the Root is not working.. ?

Tested and for me wifi works, but the superuser no, it say that i dont have root acces

Could you guys go to Settings -> Developer options and under Root Access select Apps and ADB.
Then reboot, root should work fine.

not flashable but you can unpack it and copy it in system/media http://www.mediafire.com/download/1zg0uk212gelvb8/media.zip

yap, on me superuser not work to and i try to change root access (app and Adb) on dev option its to same

Yeah root is working after enabling the option under developer and root .. Access adb and apps...
But sound doesnot works for me like any call comes it doesnot play any sound just vibrate though the volume is set to full... I have flashed this over liquid smooth 4.2.2... I shud try fresh flash of rom wiping data

I confirm it after fresh flash of rom sound is missing... I played music at loud voice but no sound.... Can anyone confirm this?

You need to reset contact ringtones.

Not only phone doesnot rings but wen i play music also no sound is coming

The same on my phone. I hoped it would work after reboot, but I got stuck at the splash screen. Removing battery wouldn't help, I had to restore the previous rom from backup. If it happened to me only, I'll give it another try in the evening.
