It looks like the one I have. It worked great. I always thought the touch pad was too slippery. The case made me more comfortable handling it. I no longer worried about it slipping out of my hands. The only down side is that it was too thick to charge on the touchstone.
I just got the HP case. They are only $4.99 with free shipping for Hp and it works with my touchstone. I bought 2. check out this link they have a lot of things on sell. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676227

Yikes, a bit of a strong reprimand for someone just pointing out a good source of comments on the case. However, I have one, and use it when I take the pad outside. It does have difficulty with touchstone, though I have made it work with careful positioning.

These are those low-quality generic cases from china. You can't see it but, the dye rubs off and stains your device. The TP is black so most don't notice but if you get a different color or use it on say, an iPad, you will get a nice surprise. Also, it doesn't fit the TP snugly - the thing moves around in there a bit. My advice get the official case on Ebay or something better. It's priced at $4 for a reason.
They are super generic, but they are of good quality for the price. I'm using one on my TP right now. It's very decent, but I am a bit of a case junkie and have 4 different cases at the moment. That said, I'd recommend it.
Further, I've had no issues with it not being color fast, and the fit is perfect...but that's just my experience. I also bought mine from ebay, not that it makes much difference, I'm sure...

no way it makes it look retro like my old cassette player left over from the early 80's. ill tell you that was the best walkman I ever had. I think it was a jvc.
also looks kinda like a silver cigarette case. though the hinge would be annoying to put in your pocket. ill bet it catches on clothing.
just a thought but I'm a machinist and I'm getting a garage to put my induma milling machine in. I can probably make dies and stamp something like that out pretty easily if I get a press of some kind. even an arbor press will work on thin aluminum. what do you think people would pay for that if I could make it with hinge or belt clip?

depends on the quality, it would need some sort of protective material inside though. So i'm thinking anywhere from $5-15.

if I had a cnc vinal decal cutter I could sell skins for that all day on ebay but a case that needs dies to be cut and the material needs to be trimed precisely for each case well I was thinking id have to make atleast as much as that cheap import case with the inconvenient hinge.

After trying several cases(I'm kind of picky lol) I found one that I really liked, it's called the "rooCASE Multi-Angle Vegan Leather Folio Case". Its thin, light, and closes with a magnetic flap and it keeps the tablet pretty secure. It also makes the tablet feel real comfortable in my hands. I got it after returning a case called "the Targus Truss"(probably the worst case I ever owned).

I bought this case for my Prime and loved it!! Love it even more now since it also fits my Infinity perfectly!!!! I bought it at Best Buy when I bought my Prime back in January/February and it still look perfect and fits perfect. It hasn't loosened any in the fitment department and none of the stitching or seems have came loose or frayed at all. I highly recommend this case!! My girlfriend now has my Prime. After looking for her a case to use she has decided to also buy one of these. Nothing online We have looked at seems nearly as nice in terms of appearance and fitment. This truly is an awesome case and will last over time without damaging in any way whatsoever!!! It isn't cheap, but it is made extremely well with extremely nice materials!!!

I don't have access to a set of digital scales but it would be comparable to other PU/leather cases on the market for the TF700.
I'll let you know if I can get an accurate weight of the case.
I just purchased a rooCASE Executive portfolio genuine leather case from a vendor on eBay for $39.95 & free shipping.
This is an excellent case, very well padded and high quality leather and construction. :good:
It weighs 1.6 lbs and the unit is top-notch with quality stitching and a soft velvet-like lining with a built-in tilt stand.

dont waste your time with those bumpers, i bought similar ones for gnex and they were garbage, the rubber will start pealing from the pastic after a few weeks or sooner if you take it off and on too much. I bought a black and white one, the white one had a hole in a random spot. they look and feel very cheap, i paid $7 for them and felt like i was ripped off.

15$ for that bumper is expensive. I prefer pay 10$ more (with shipping fees) and get the original one. On Amazon, the price is more reasonnable
The Google bumper is great, feels like it was always meant to be on the device, and doesn't add noticeable bulk. I'd recommend shelling out the extra bucks.

not sure if I agree with the noticeable bulk part. The device doesn't feel thicker but it definitely feels wider and takes some getting used to. I love the bumper for the most part and it definitely has grown on me but then when I take it out and feel the device naked the difference is night and day.

AW: Diztronic soft TPU case review
Thanks for the review. Case lools really great. I will order one. Actually i had a TPU case from mumbi at Amazon. But the case looks not so good.
..... from my Nexus 4 .....
Honestly, I'm not sure why this case is not more popular. As far as TPU cases go this is the one of the better(if not the best) case I've seen. The inside has a felt like material that protects/cushions the phone back(the glass part ). Its similar to the new Body Glove case but its a bit sleeker and better looking(no stormtrooper look here). High quality design and materials. Bump for a great product. Great price too.
Also has anyone used this case with the Orb? Any issues with charging with the case on?
My favorite case, also purchased the mybat case, but prefer the diztronic. Provides enough protection and good grip.

I was just about to checkout and saw there was a discount code field, after a quick Google search for a code, this thread popped up with your post. I saved ~$1.95, not much, but it adds up over time!
I had one of these for my Galaxy Nexus and loved it. I just got one for my Nexus 4 and was a little disappointed. The on/off and volume buttons seem to need a little harder push than it did when naked or with the bumper case that came with it. On a good note, the Zens charger I got today seems to work just fine with the case on. I will find out how well tonight when I charge it.
One more thing, the data/charging cable I use in my car that worked fine on the Gnex, does not work in the Nexus 4 case as the cut out is two small. I can swap out the cable with a thinner one so that's no big deal.
All the reviews I see of the S-view say it is bad, when actually they are reviewing it before it has had a chance to be broken in. When broken in it closes completely, and it doesn't leave marks on the screen when you use a screen protector. I would recommend getting a cheap knock of and see if you like the feel before getting the real one.

I checked it out and fitted the white one today at bestbuy, but just couldn't justify spending $40+tax (after pricematch and $10 credit) on a plastic case, maybe if it was leather. I take pics of my toddler a lot, so this case is just not right for me.

I really like the s view option, but I'm not thrilled with any of the cases out there yet. I would like one that properly protects the corners of the phone, and that stay closed if the phone is dropped. So far none of them have those features. I have an s view case (the tridea brand, from amazon) that I'll use until something better comes along.

No, it doesn't. The s view window is over the camera when flipped all of the way over. However, the window can pick up fingerprints, so that's something to be aware of when taking pictures. This hasn't been a problem for me so far, but I've seen posts by others who are concerned about it.

Agree. Waiting for decent case that actually protects all the bezel and include the window.
